I live in an upper middle class rather large neighborhood. I've recently started walking around the neighborhood because the weather is nice and I enjoy all the leaves covering the streets. Lately, there have been a lot of houses being built and thus a lot of construction workers. I'm a short 20 year old female with a decent chest and hips. I don't wear anything provocative, just ripped jeans, a tank top, and a flannel shirt buttoned all the way down with useually a beanie. While passing by I always get catcalled ONLY by construction workers. Nothing too bad but just the whistle the "nice ***/****" "ay baby!" Nothing too disgusting and I usually just ignore it. But why do construction workers catcall so much? I'm not bothered by it unless they get too graphic, threaten me, or physically touch me. I'm just curious why they do it the most. Boredom?

He broke up with me. Also began no contact. We are not talking right now. I was messaging him a few times. He said if I didn't stop he'd block me. He did. Hours later he unblocked and said "are you done?" Then a day or two later he gets jealous over something I did. He told me not to do it again 3 times

At church he's a deacon and from the altar he's constantly looking at me even though a couple weeks after seeing him stare at me I texted him and he said he was offended that I said something about his mom but he was the one who said it to me first. I said I didn't want to talk about the past and he said it's fine as long as I know why it won't work and why he'll never allow himself to have feelings for me again. I didnt' respond to this, it's been a month and he still stares and steals glances My friends and family know him so they're the ones telling me he keeps looking as I don't look at him and have given him a bad look a couple times. If he meant what he said would he stare if he was sooo hurt?? But why does he keep wanting to make eye-contact and stares and gives me so much attention if what he said is true??

If I'm alone I can talk to friends and strangers like it's no big deal but if I'm around family I get nervous and shy around people. Anyone else have this problem? How do I fix it? It's really odd.

I'm a senior in high school & president of a club called Girls Learn International. There are four officers (vice pres, secretary, etc) & they're all juniors. I did know them prior to becoming president & they don't like me. I have anxiety issues so it's a big step for me to be speaking in front of a lot of people. The VP always looks at me like I'm crazy & during yesterday's meeting she was talking to the secretary while I was presenting. I'm pretty sure she and the secretary were laughing at me. I want to check her & put her in her place slyly, help?? I don't want it to be directly rude, but I want to make sure she understands to pipe down. It could be through text even. HELP.

I'm currently in my first semester of medical school, it's been almost three months since I've been in school and I've gotten to the point where I force myself to do the work and i force myself to show up to clinicals. Not only do I hate what I'm doing, but I also hate most of the people associated with the program. I'm decently close to the program director and some of my teachers, I know I need to talk to them, but I'm scared too. My family is all about college and if I stopped going they would probably disown me. I don't know what to do.

I'm a senior in high school and one of my friends was saying her ex boyfriend was hitting her and all this horrible stuff and I felt so bad for her but didn't know what to say. Than this *** hole forced me to see nudes of a girl at school which I never wanted to see but he shoved the phone in my face and I talked to this other girl about it and she was like you're a nice guy that I'm the kind women want cause I don't ask for **** than she revealed that he even asked her for nudes which makes me hate him. Than I also work with pre schoolers and special needs kids and my favorite kid we just bonded we were playing monster but she hugged me and said I'm not a monster it was so precious. And my friend he told me I'm too nice that it bothers him. But my feelings got hurt when one my friends she said I say the stupidest things. Basically when she was 11 she started trying to learn japanese, but stopped when she was about 13 saying that it she didn't wanna learn it anymore because her family kept picking on her and took the fun out of learning it. Then when she was 13 she started learning German ( she took a German class when she was like 11-12-ish and really liked it) and wants to do a foreign exchange there next year. ( she's almost 15 currently) how do I get her to stop wanting to leave?! She has social anxiety disorder ( diagnosed) so probably wouldn't even enjoy it.

My Fiance seems to be pissed and sad for some reason, when i ask what is wrong she says "everything is fine" but i know something is bothering her. should i just give her some space and let her take care of it herself or should i keep asking and insisting on her to share the problem?

So my boyfriend came out of the blue and starting to talk about a baby. I myself do want kids i would be happy if i did. But I don't know if he is really serious. He does talk about having one all the time nearly. Also he make comments about how he hopes when we have sex that it will do it. I know it takes time and yeah doing it once is all you need. But part of me is still iffy on if he is serious. How do i bring up the conversation without making it sound bad, and like I don't want it to happen?

My kids and I travel often(Germany, the Netherlands, Japan, India, etc. Because of their father's job), they will be starting school in the U.S. next week. I'm wondering if the lunches I pack are going to be considered strange to the others there? I don't trust the school to give them lunch. Since Americans tend to be overweight and unhealthy. Will they get bullied if I pack them foods like curry and rice, kartoffelpuffer, okonomiyaki, etc? I don't want them eating much processed foods. Sorry for the bad English! My grandfather is always telling me to be a man you've got to have a family and provide for them and all this other stuff and that you shouldn't do girly things. I hav not even told him I don't really plan on having kids and a family and kids and I don't really care if who thinks I'm a man or not. It's really not even an aspect of my life.

Okay, so I was texting my crush and he's kind of a shy guy we met at home coming but since then I always make the moves first on texting. We had a really good convo on snap chat and then I sent him something else back, and he left it on read. My question is why do guys do that? Because when I start a fresh convo he's all good, is it because he doesn't know how to really talk to girls or what? But I guess the general question is why are guys like this when it comes to texting?

So I am a guy and me and my older cousin are only two years apart and we went to elementary, middle, and high school together. When we were growing up, my older cousin danny has always been overprotective of me and he always made sure I stayed under his watch. When we were growing up he never allowed me to goof off and go to parties like everyone in our school did. He also did not let me watch any rated R, scary, and sexual movies, he made sure that I stayed completely innocent. I hated going to school with my cousin because he has always been so overprotective of me and now he is in the Marines. Now everyone we know that is in the marines look out for me since he is not in our state anymore and can't look out for me so now they do. Why is my cousin and Marine friendsso overprotective?
