It's hard to reach him on the phone while he's at work and all he does is cook food at a restaurant, he claims he never gets a break & cant answer his phone. One nite I was so sick with severe cramps & was calling him at work to tell him I was going to the hospital, after blowing his phone up it took him 2 hrs to call back. I'm seriously thinking about moving out, ending this nonexistent situation and just coparenting when our son is born. I'm getting the feeling I will be a single mom as well, because if he can't make time for me then how will he make time for a child. I've expressed how I feel about all this way too many times and he always says it will change it's just temporary, but nothing ever changes. I feel single & alone. I don't know anyone in the new area & it's just very lonely. Maybe I should just accept that nothing will ever change and just give up trying & distance myself from him, show him how it feels to be neglected & not feel important. Should I just end it? |

Like I have felt him stare at me for literal whole minutes straight, and when I look at him, he notices, but doesn't smile or anything. I think he flinches, but not enough. He does this in class, at lunch, at all times I am near him. It is a blank expression, but it almost looks like he's waiting for me to say something, or do something. But he's always sting at my face, so when I look at him, we make eye contact, and I automatically look away. We never spoke to each other, not even an excuse me in the hallway. He has to work 8am-5pm Mon-Fri. On those days I leave him alone to rest, take a nap, talk to family, do whatever he does because he just got off of work. I don't bother him at all. Saturday's and Sundays I expect him to sleep in if he wants to on Saturday but during the day I barely hear from him and when I do he barely talks or he wants to watch his show for hours. I wasn't saying anything at first, but now it's starting to annoy me. He's not making me feel like I'm important. Yet when I want to go offline for a while and do whatever he's constantly texting me. We don't get to see each other that much because of his schedule. Plus I have college. We video chat when we sleep. Even when we video chat he's staring at the t.v. screen. I miss him. I remember thinking, ugh, we saw each other at school, why does he want to hang out after school all the time too? They wanted to hang out almost every day, and I didn't, so they ended it. The thing is, I really liked these people! I just also like my space. I'm an artist, there's a lot of projects I like to work on in my free time, on top of work and other things. I'm in a serious relationship right now and it is just occurring to me that the only reason me and my boyfriend hang out on the weekends only is because that's how I like it. When he wasn't working, I found myself seeing him multiple times throughout the week and being driven a little crazy and having to tell him I needed me time to do other things. He accepted it, but there are comments every now and then and I can tell that if it were up to him, we would see each other much more often. So am I the problem? is this unacceptable by common standards? |
