I liked her for a few years and always psyched myself out and placed a huge degree of importance on something that really wasn't that important. I'm 18 and she was the first girl I thought "holy sh.. you should actually ask her out". I did, eventually, just before we were about to go to college in different cities hundreds of miles away. I had to, despite knowing exactly what she'd say, for a bit of closure. She said no, citing that reason. The fact is I never let her know what she meant to me, I'd think about our little conversations all day, they'd give me a boost and she never knew. She never knew that I'd get ill some days thinking about asking her out later in the day, so I'd do nothing. Maybe it's best she didn't know, but it shows how much I really cared about her. Whether she was as great as my infatuation led me to believe is anyone's guess and I don't know if she was the right person but it was definitely the wrong time. I still think about her every 2 weeks or so and wish things had been different. Now I feel like it'll be awkward speaking to her cause it was random and it's very likely we'll never speak again cause of distance and not being close friends during school. Is there any way of letting her know or being cool in the future? Or do I chalk it up to experience and forget about her. Just wish we could've gone on a date. |

My family has had bad experiences with alcohol and it has somewhat traumatized me. He knows I am uncomfortable with him drinking alcohol and smoking weed even if it is on occasion, but we made a pact that he should at least call or text me to let me know that he is and that he is okay. But even then, it still throws me into anxiety attacks because I just don't really like it, but I love him and I don't want to control him. Is there a way I'd be able to convince him to quit altogether or is that just unrealistic? |

My boyfriend had amblyopia amd strabismus as a child and when we got home he broke don't we crying because he didn't want to,get a surgery for his eyes. He understands he needs to have it done but he's upset it's happening. I made my boyfriend some fudge brownies and brought them over with stuff to make burgers and fries. I've never seen him this afraid before what can I tell him to call him? I'm taking off the day tomorrow amd I will drive him to amd from the hospital. We live in Utah and we both go to BYU. What can I do to help my boyfriend? Also what can I do make his recovery better. I got him a package and his mom is flying up to take care of him. We have been casually talking ever since but my job is busy so we can't talk for long but he'll tease me a bit and now he's wanting to know my age etc. today he saw me walking in front of the break door and he ran out to catch up to me but I'm getting confused because when I approach him now he will barely say a word barely even a "hi". If I look at him and ignore him. He will most definitely find me later. I'm guessing that he's the type that likes a chase. He always wants to touch the inside of my hands. Seems like he's asking me to ignore him or is it just mind games... I don't know...Any tips? |

We are pretty goods friends, we have done a lot of stuff together like gym, shopping, etc.. however I have always liked her and I told her but we worked together and she didn't date coworkers. But now neither one of us work there anymore and I haven't seen her in over 4 months. So if she says yes to getting some Starbucks is that like a date. |
| Question: Guy was excited to run into me but then got weird? Posted: 24 Nov 2017 05:48 PM PST I ran into an old co-worker at the store, he saw me and ran across the aisle to give me a hug. We were never super close but he seemed really excited to see me and ask how I was doing. I left because the job got really stressful & a lot of people quit at once, but he still manages the store. It's a crazy job, so I jokingly told him I was glad to see that the store hadn't given him a heart attack yet, and he got really tense, laughed and said "yeah, right?" and then quickly ended the conversation and walked away. Did I say something wrong or was he just acting weird? |
