| Posted: 12 Nov 2017 05:32 PM PST At church he's a deacon and from the altar he's constantly looking at me even though a couple weeks after seeing him stare at me I texted him and he said he was offended that I said something about his mom but he was the one who said it to me first. I said I didn't want to talk about the past and he said it's fine as long as I know why it won't work and why he'll never allow himself to have feelings for me again. I didnt' respond to this, it's been a month and he still stares and steals glances My friends and family know him so they're the ones telling me he keeps looking as I don't look at him and have given him a bad look a couple times. If he meant what he said would he stare if he was sooo hurt?? |

The "me" that I've always hidden from people likes facial glitter, fun hair colors, holographic lipgloss, anime, etc. The "me" that i have always displayed to others is a shy, introverted, nobody who hides from everyone and wears trendy clothes just to "fit in". Next year i want to be me, but I'm afraid to. What if i seem too bold? Not only is my service dog going to throw people off, but the "me" ill be showing might further throw them off. I want to be the crazy, nerdy, fangirl that i am... but i also don't want to be known as "that" girl in school. Any advice? Someone asked why i have (will have actually, I'm getting it sometime after Christmas i believe) a service dog, and it is mainly for my severe social anxiety disorder. Because of my anxiety disorder i have physical impairments, such as being unable to walk at time and randomly collapsing/fainting/blacking out, etc. The service dog i get is going to be able to help me mobility wise, and mentally :) |

Posted: 12 Nov 2017 02:07 PM PST Hello everyone, I just need guidance how to handle this I have a close friend who lately we started fighting over stupid stuff and she recently gave me a hard time about something I keep doing that gets on her nerve (I wasnt doing it intentionally, u know how written words dont have a tone and can be taken differently) anyway i apologized sincerely for upsetting her I promised I'll watch out how some thing sound to others. I wished she'd tell me okay its all good or whatever (knowing I have real issue with overthinking & anxiety but i figured she must've been pissed off so its okay not a big deal) But the thing is there's this issue that annoys me about her for a while that i never confronted her with to spare her feelings cause she's already going through enough in my opinion and dont want to make things worse. This issue is that whenever she's upset about anything id be there for her and really try help her through it but when i mention a problem I'm going through she'd just say aww or nothing & unintentionally change the subject to whatever (happened quite often). I want to talk to her about this but she'll get really upset (i think she's depressed & i know she pushed a lot of her friends away so thats also why I dont want to start an argument with her) and if she does change ill just know its not genuine when she pretends she cares now :/ what do i do? Basically, rhis friendshio is really making me emotionally tired recently is this normal? And thank you in advance! |

It wasn't very serious but he has a scar now. He and his parents said that it was ok and it was just an accident. I for some reason feel more traumatized or emotionally hurt than him, i am going to give him a big gift sometime this week and am going to properly apologise. Is this normal or am i being over dramatic (Sorry for bad english). Note: We are both 14 years old |

I believe that I am a good person, and that I'm sorry if I ever made her feel anything negative. I'm home schooled and she's in regular school. My school work often limits the time that I can talk to her. Still, I put in as much effort into contacting her as she did with me. I understand that she may have written the letter out of anger, but it's no reason to call me a "toxic person"! We have mutual friends that go to regular school with her, and I'm afraid that she's going to tell them these things about me that are not true at all and they are going to believe her. I've already written a letter back to her where I maturely replied that I'm sorry that she feels this way about me and I hope that we can talk some time face-to-face about these issues instead of taking the time to write all of it out. Is there any other way that I should be handling the situation? She has been like a sister to me for at least 8 or 9 years, but if I have to let her go for any reason, I'm willing to do that. All these years, I did feel uncomfortable when I was around her. This is still new for me, how should I take care of/look after myself? |

Recently she's been targeting me by talking **** about me when I'm nearby to my friends and basically making me feel excluded. But that's not all, C's also made fun of other students as well by saying racist things. Back when we were on speaking terms she would tell me how all the Philippino students in our school 'share spit', are disgusting and have no hygiene and as well as nicknaming them 'bums' or 'bun-buns' and how she's glad that she's not 'one of them'. C's also been slut-shaming many of the girls in our grade (some of them I'm friend's with) by calling them 'ugly hoes' and 'sluts' for wearing crop tops, shorts, makeup, or wearing shorter skirts (we wear uniforms btw). Also, recently I heard from a friend who hangs out with C that C was excluding this girl (M) who went to sit at her table for lunch. Then, when C and her other friends decided to leave the table, they left their trash there and when my friend said to go pick up their trash, C said "Leave the trash with the trash." They were basically indirectly calling M trash who was there the whole time and heard C say those horrible things. I've also heard C talk **** about M and how her skin color is 'ugly'. (M is dark-skinned btw). I really can't stand this girl anymore and neither can a few others. We want her to get suspended or expelled. But we're not sure if this is a good reason. Please help! Edit: Our school is also very strict when it comes to bullying, hate speech, etc. |

He was a bit annoying, I won't lie, but he definitely didn't deserve to be bullied. Basically he was very dramatic, sometimes announcing that we weren't his friends out of nowhere, and they would make fun of him for it. For a while I was the only one who assured him that we were his friends, but after a while (I think a year) I got sick of always trying to get everyone along so I joined in on some of it. I felt very guilty about it, and was too ashamed when 9th grade started to apologize to him for it, we didnt have any classes together anyway. It's now junior year and I think I should apologize to him for it but I dont know if he even cares anymore or if it would even mean anything. |

Well we were doing a project and I came to her class late. We were painting the desk but we werernt suppose to paint near the edge of the desk cause it would mess up our clothes but i didnt know because i came in late. I didnt paint on the edge but like 5 inches near it, not even close. She came up to me and goes "why did you paint here?" and then another classmate tells her "she wasnt in here when you told us were not to paint." and my teacher replies "Well if i told her or not she shouldve been smart enough to know." Then walks away. She gossip to other teachers about me and every time i make a mistake or accident she goes to gossip and laughs about it to another teacher. |

This is the same person who said she'd contact me more for now on and that was about a month ago and she hasn't. I thought us hanging out would be the start of a stronger friendship. She said we can make plans for another day but I don't believe her or believe she'd contact me over that. I think maybe it's time I pull away from her and my other two friends who act the same way. And heres the thing: Recently he passed his driving theory test and i was happy for him and I decided i want to start studying the rules of the road book and so I told him and he text me and said that I can BUY it off him or rent it or a few months then he'd sell it. | Posted: 12 Nov 2017 07:52 AM PST i had a best friend and we know each other since 1st grade. we were always together and we were always there for each other for everything that there is. as we grew older we started fighting a lot and sometimes we wouldn't speak for a half of year.the fights stopped eventually and last year things went a little over board when she started hanging out with kids that smoked weed . nothing against that if u like it smoke it,but as time went by she go so much addicted she couldn't stop. , the first thing she did when she got up in the morning she had to smoke a blunt and most of the time she was stoned, i tried to convince her to stop nut she just didn't listen . since then i has been trying to get in touch with her but every time we went out she was like lost and tripping hard and soon we started to drift apart cause we didn't have anything to do together and now we don't even know each other. i started to put my life together going to the gym,attending college while she is failing at life . sometimes i get sad because i lost a good friend that have planned so much together but on the other hand i don't need unstable people in my life. |

She tells everyone things i trust her with and she always judges me on what i do but claims that she doesn t. i am tired of her and these stupid arguments, i have lost all trust that i hd with her and i feel like i can t tell her things anymore, we usually are friends again after a week of dumb fight like this but i don t know if i can even do it anymore. I should also note that we do have a special bond that i can t find with someone else, but how can i be best friends with someone who has ruined our trust???? Posted: 12 Nov 2017 01:36 AM PST I was suffering from heart problems, chest pain, panic and anxiety attacks for a month and a half, all caused because of fear and guilt of something that happened to me but once i solved this problem all the symptoms were gone, but the thing is during this time i really needed support from friends and family and no one was there for me, i kept calling for help but my friends bailed on me for the lamest excuses, no one knew how hurt i was and how much i needed moral support, so i decided to talk to my best friend, speak to her in a temper hopefully that will change their minds and they can realise how much I need them, so i said don t you all expect me to give you that much attention, I m all better by my own and went to sleep wake up the next morning to see what happens and she told the other two that I completely kicked them out of my life (which wasn t my intention) and they all decided not to be my friends anymore, I ve been trying so hard to get in touch with them trying to patch things up, let them understand but no point in that, they never respond to my messages and they won t accept meeting me. As stupid as this sounds, how can I get them back never mind I think the best thing to do is to realize they were never true friends to begin with, letting them go is the right thing to do |

Posted: 12 Nov 2017 12:26 AM PST : He and I broke up 2 months ago and I started going to church and found him staring at me 2 weeks in a row so I texted him but he said he was offended which is why it wouldn't work and why he wouldn't allow himself to have feelings for me again. I didn't respond. I've been going to church since then it's been almost a month, i don't look at him and have given him a dirty look couple times. He literally doesn't take his eyes off me my family says...confused. My friends say it's a longing stare I don't look at him and have given him a bad look a couple times but still looks. I m nearly 60 and he s a bit older. I no longer rent from him, but last year moved back to New England where I m originally from. My old uddy landlord in FL and I still stay in touch every two or three weeks on the phone talking like two old ladies for hours. We also occasionally share emails and photos. I ve also sent he and his wife gifts at times though they ve never sent any by mail. My buddy has a thing about receiving and giving gifts. I ve been afraid to confront him on the subject. Could someone tell my why he has a thing about receiving gifts? He s never explained it to me, yet has made it clear that he s not comfortable receiving gifts. When I was living in Florida, however, we d go places taking turns as to who pays the restaurant tab. He and his wife also frequently invited me to their house to eat. Why would he feel uncomfortable about my sending occasional gifts? |

Posted: 11 Nov 2017 09:32 PM PST I was in my room because I just got out the shower, & I knew that my friend was coming over but, I didn't know he was coming in my room. I thought he was going to stay downstairs. He decided to try to scare me but he didn't know I didn't have any clothes on. When he saw me I froze up & he ran out of my room. I think he was more shookin up more than me. I got over it & it's no big deal. After I thought about it, I don't have a problem with my friend seeing me nude. It would only bother me if it were my parents. Is that weird? Lol, but my friend is still awkward around me. I told him i'm fine & I don't know why he's acting weird around me. I know we've been friends for four years, we're both 19 now. This is the first time he saw me like this, and it's been a month since it happened. What do you think? |

I was talking to my friend, she walks over, and says, "Do u mind", flips her hair in my face and starts flirting with him. She is really popular, and im not. When we go to competitions at band, she took up my bus seat, the one close to all my friends, and is making me sit in the back, where i don't know or want to know anyone. She is flirting with every boy I KNOW and it's annoying. She also took up 3 seats on the bus, one for her uniform bag, one for her shako box, one for her, and now I have to sit with people I don't want to. Help please. Tomorrows the last comp |

Posted: 11 Nov 2017 08:04 PM PST I found out last week that a surprise birthday party of my friend was happening at his house and I wasn't even invited! I asked another friend of mine who was invited about the location, time and day. On the day of the party, I went to his house one hour early, greeted his dad, and hid. No one saw me until the Actual SURPRISE! Many people and the birthday boy we're happy to see me and no one kinda cared or noticed that I wasn't invited. We played cards, Just Dance and had fun. However, When I was outside texting my dad to pick me up, two guys went outside and yelled at me. They scolded me for coming uninvited. I told them to f*** off because what matters is that the birthday boy, my friend, is happy. The next day, the two jerks put me in their surprise party messenger groupchat and told everyone that I wasn't invited but half of the groupchat defended me and the others didn't reply. I called the jerks b****es before leaving that group chat. In short, I went to my friend's surprise party not invited but no one except two jerks cared and continued to have fun. The two jerks scolded me and i told them to Shut the hell up. |
