I really like this guy I work with and he claimed he likes me too but we can't do anything until he gets out of what he's currently doing. Basically, he's been pretty moody lately, he told me he had problems with his family and such so I just left it at that. Yesterday, during one of our shifts, we were both working and he was angry that I wasn't helping him out on cash. He calmed down and forgot about it. But then today, he got really mad at me again because I wasn't helping on cash. The whole day he didn't even talk to me and I had no idea why (he didn't even tell me) he told the managers and that was when I realized he was mad at me. I confronted him and he explained his reasons. And I get that he's upset and all, but there were a lot of times where he'd abandon me and not help me (I just never said anything) I also helped him out whenever he's in trouble but something like this made him angry? Have I lost my chance with him? He calmed down a bit but there's clearly still some tensions between us. 😳

I like to joke around a lot, and I can see that it can be a good thing and a bad thing at the same time. I have great friends but a lot of times they think I'm a real idiot. I mean yeah sometimes I act dumb on purpose as a joke. But I think they're taking me more seriously??? I don't want them to take me as an ignorant person. How do I stop this? Alright so basically every time I'm with this particular group of friends they do this subtle little thing where we'll be talking about something and when I say literally anything to add in, they all either A)Ignore me completely and i get that feeling of talking to a wall. or B)They'll all acknowledge what i said, look at each other in confusion, and then scuff, as if what i said was dumb, absurd and had no contribution to the conversation. The problem is, that individually, they don't do this to me. Like i can have a pretty good or funny talk with each one of them personally, but it's not until were all grouped up, say at a cafeteria. And i think one of the guys is the main contributor, because he will do it the most. Let's call him bob. Say i'm sitting with all the dudes.They'll (and i say "they" because i will be lowkey excluded) will be talking about cars and what not. Since i'm with them i'm inclined to discuss with them. Now the whole time they're it's very obvious that Bob doesn't include me. It's as if he knows that i understand i'm being ignored for comedic reasons. So say somewhere along the conversation they talk about changing brakes in a car. Now i haven't really contributed to the discussion so ill ask something curious like "When would you know when to change your brakes?" ... and this is where it always happens, Bob will look at me, look at the other buddies and say "what the ****?" in confusion, and everybody will kinda chuckle. How do i counter act this? This isn't and update, i just need to type more. So basically it's this unspoken running gag to exclude me and delibretly keep me out of the loop of group stuff. I consider it lucky when i can say something and the guys agree. I get this feeling that "Bob" specifically, does this to kinda make me feel like "well that was dumb, maybe this guy shouldn't talk". I know i've tried a couple things,but they never seem to work, so i want to figure out how i can "win" essentially. Because the problem... ...the problem is that, it doesn't seem like they do this to get a reaction out of me, it feels like a big inside joke, and i'm the only one purposely left out because that is the joke itself. You know? If im being honest, the guys are closer friends because they'll typically go out to hang frequently, and i rarely get to join them, because i usually can't go for various reasons. An example that expresses where i at with the group is this... They have a group chat...IM NOT EVEN IN IT, yet... ...yet im pretty good friends with all of them. Whenever we play games online and i join in Bob will be like "Oh guys he's online, we gotta get off now" and then they'll all laugh. and i'll just play along. I want to know how i can beat and counteract Bob when he acts like a smartass (cuz he always does) Is it mob mentality maybe? I'm just tired of them either excluding me to be funny or acting like i'm incompetent and dumb. I got my car/license exactly one week as after I was hired for my part time job about eight months ago, so I feel like I've never really gotten to experience freedom or gotten like the typical high school experience. My commute to and from school is forty minutes each way so I waste a lot of time with that. I have a difficult schedule with college level classes. I'm on the dance team, so I can't work on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday nights, which leaves me with only school nights to work. I'm a restaurant hostess, so I'm paid minimum wage. It's not difficult, but it does suck the life out of me a little bit. I'm usually pretty bored and miserable when I'm working but I deal with it because I'm making money and I know it's my responsibility (at least for right now). Quitting is sounding better all the time. I barely have time to fake-do my homework before falling asleep after a six hour shift and an eight hour school day. I would actually have time to study. I've already had to miss multiple football games and friends' eighteenth birthday celebrations and while I wouldn't quit just for that I admit it would be nice to enjoy my last year with my friends and not have to say "sorry, I'm working" all the time. My family is urging me to quit because I'm not spending the time I should on school. My friends say I should keep the job because making money gives me more independence from my parents. Thoughts? I do have to say that while I don't like much about my job they are pretty good about letting me off whenever I ask for it. I just can't ask off all the time and almost every night there's something else imporant I could be doing.

So long story short I had an emergency extraction on one of my top molars yesterday. It broke during the extraction which made things a little more difficult than normal, and I still have a bit of soreness/swelling but pretty much feel fine otherwise. I'm a bit freaked out because I was awake for the entire extraction and it was terrifying and I also have a gaping hole in my mouth, but it's fine I guess. I saw my oral surgeon this morning and he said everything looked fine. Should I still go to my ACT tomorrow? I haven't had much time to prepare because of the tooth and now I'm really nervous to go, but of course I don't want to waste my parents money and not go. Help?

I work at a recreation place (like the ymca but for teens and adults). I absolutely love my job and most of the people I work with and I show it! I m happy, enthusiastic, and full of pep. I laugh, make jokes, and have fun while doing my job. The problem is that a lot of people in the office do not like me. They are very rude to me whenever they just feel like being rude and always try to shut me down and make me feel bad in front of other people, just because. But then they talk to their friends nicely and continue on theirs days just fine. I say hi to them or see them and they ignore me or are rude about it! I m not in your face like super over the top, I just love my job and want to make it a great environment to work in. They act just like I do with their friends but when I m around they just seem annoyed. I ve been thinking about just laying low at work and just being quiet and doing my job for awhile to give people a "break" from me. Is that a good idea? What else could I do? Thank you!

I ordered a meal from a delivery place. Andys pizza it is in conneticut, the delivery man came and he stole some change from me. I called the place and they put me directly on line with the delivery man and not the manager. The man claims he gave me all the change necesarry but after searching the area numerous times i mean numerous the change never showed up. He often replied with you shouldve counted the money. Basically obsolving himself of guilt since he can just claim i lost it. What do i do in this sitaution it is only 5 dollars but 5 dollars is an entire lunch. I'm a junior in high school and drive to and from school. Today I was sitting and waiting in the line to get out of the parking lot, and it was getting close to my turn, I was sitting behind two cars turning left. So the car in front goes, but the car directly Infront of me doesn't move. The girl driving is busy talking with her friend and is completely unaware that she just had like five chances to turn. I'm annoyed, my friend in the passenger seat is annoyed, and we just want to go home. So I beep at her, and she turns around, flips me off and yells "F U B****" then proceeds to glare at me, pull up and turn. Lastly, she looks of the window as she drives away and flips me off again. These girls are the worst kind. They're a year older than me and are really mean. We help out one of our friends often, now they said they need all my old baby items and clothes. We gave away alot of baby items and clothes kid outgrew it all. Long story short I m pregnant again don t know the gender yet and will be shorter on cash so once I find out what the baby is. I want to sell or trade the clothes or keep depending on gender. So heres the situacion: I met my younger brothers best friend Kelly about 2 years ago and liked her from the start. However because she was such good friends with my brother I decided to stay clear and not make any moves. Then recently I went on vacation with the family and my brother and I each had a few friends come, one being Kelly. This story starts my sophomore year of college. I didnt have a solid friends group, but I decided I wanted that to change, and through an extended friendship with one person, found a great group of guys that I really clicked with. Fast forward a bit, and I started dating one of them very seriously. He studied abroad our junior year (with us still together), but since he was gone, it really gave me the chance to get closer with the guys, and I left for the summer feeling really solid in those friendships, apart from that fact that my boyfriend was their best friend first. Fast forward to senior year, and they are all living together, so I was an intergral part of the household it seems because I was there so much, dating my returned boyfriend, but after about a week coming back on campus or so, we broke up. Recently I became friends with a girl because she was new so I was assigned to show her around the school etc. Within the first couple of days she told me so many personal things about herself I felt uncomfortable and awkward.. then she started asking me to see her outside of school but I agreed in hope to make her have a nice start to our year. I went on my facebook to check up on things and saw someone had been on it checking my messages, turns out it was my 'friend' who had been on my account to see if I was ignoring her, and then continued to call me once I messaged her asking if she was on my facebook. I don't feel comfortable with her but she's become too attached too fast, I was only supposed to show her around but I don't want this to continue anymore. Please help me! Okay so I have one of my classes with lower class men(high school freshman) and one of them keeps on trying to get my attention (he somehow knows my name even though I do not talk in that class or associate with anyone in that class unless I am told to or need to which happens to be never so far) I gave him my attention today because I thought it was one of my friends and he keeps on using me to be a part of his jokes like "hey he likes you" then his friends will laugh and I know it doesn't matter but why do guys do this it's not even funny? Do its like this: I am a person who tries to be moral. Meaning, I don't swear very often. I don't smoke, drink, or do any kind of drugs. I'm not even that religious,; I just feel uncomfortable doing those things and consider them unnecessary. But my friends are constantly getting down on me because of this. 1 Year ago I moved to another class in my school because I was bullied in the other one, In the new one, I became best friends with a girl. We were talking daily on social media but at school we weren't socializing that much because she had a best friend which was grabbing her everywhere through the school while the breaks between classes. He keeps asking "why?" to almost everything I say and when I say "I don't know" he says "Saying I don't know is dumb, old and lame nowadays." He says he knows everything and he tells me a fake birthday date for every person I mention. He asked me if I love my heart, what year do I wish he was born, if my boobs are big or small and alot of other silly questions. Is he trolling me or what? @Rebecca he just became my friend 6 months ago, i was ok with him back then but now he creeps me out...

So on fb this guy i do no know started being obnoxious and i insulted him and he got upset and said that we both live in the same neighborhood blah blah and that i should be careful etc... i dont know how to take that threat seriously or let him blow off

I got into a fight at school and beat the dudes a**. I got suspended for 5 days and now his friends are saying that they're gonna beat my a** when I get back. I've only been in one other fight in my life. I hate fighting unless it is absolutely necessary and I can't fight unless I'm really p'd off. All of them have much more experience than I do and and all of them are bigger than me. I'm not a small guy but still. If I get suspended again it'll be for 10 days and I'll have to go to some kind of special course do the nature of the last fight. I don't want to be a snitch and I don't want to potentially get my a** kicked either and get I'm even more trouble than I'm already in. Plus I make good grades and I'm In AP classes and don't want to fail them. Any ideas on what I should do? Fighting tips would he helpful as well, just In case it comes to that.

Please help me, I'm 26 and have been battleing bowel cancer and I have a big group of friends some of us close than others, during such a awful time I expected nothing but support but with this one girl I haven't received it quite the opposite in fact, I met with my friends a month after surgery and they asked me how it went I was telling them and this girl just kept rolling her eyes and half way through she said for **** sake stop going on about it got up and slammed the door, I hadn't been talking any longer than 5 minutes, I felt upset and went home she then told all my friends that she wasn't sorry and she can't believe I'm trying to make her look bad by getting upset, it's worth mentioning that this girl is a bully and nrasasistic, it's really upsetting me and now we're all going to dinner soon and Im scared to hold my own in debate with her can you please give me advise in what to say because she will lay in to me

about a month ago i told her i don't know what to do for my birthday its only in a few days and she recommended really lame ideas like a picnic, so i asked her can you hang out wit me on my birthday and she said she had plans with a friend and i was upset that she even said that, she can at least say thats an important day ill cancel since its a special day, so i had to first tell her that however than she agrees and says yea, but later when i tell her what i came up wit to do for birthday, and she texts in a rude way saying "dude look my parents aren't not allowing, and also I'm in the mood to go anywhere. I'm sorry I'm just not. which is bullshit cause why even agree to go if she can't and saying not in the mood is also very rude. so she says happy birthday in the middle of the night and i just ignore it. so i ignored her all this time but recently she texted me like everything is ok in the first text saying hey how is everything. i ignored it and the next text said hey im sorry i know ur mad but my parents didnt let me, and i really want to be friends should i forgive her?
