Question: Is this a good way to propose? Posted: 08 Jan 2016 07:37 PM PST I've never done this before but I'm gonna propose to my girlfriend when I go back to Florida for my last semester at college. We're celebrating a late Christmas together and I bought her engagement ring as one of her Christmas gifts. I'm planning on making her go first on exchanging gifts and then after she's done I'll say essentially something to the point of "I wanted to give you something that's as good as the gift that you are to me but obviously I couldn't find anything that perfect. What I did get you is honestly more of a gift to me than anything but before I can give it to you I need to ask you a question...[name], will you marry me?"

Question: How to back out of a wedding after RSVPing that we would go? Posted: 08 Jan 2016 04:50 PM PST The wedding is this Sunday. Technically, they re already married, they just eloped last year and are now having a remarriage with their family and friends. Invitations were sent a month ago (right after thanksgiving), and we said yes. Mind you the invite didn t have a time, a location, or any information about dresscode or registry information. We had to text them to find this info out because we waited thinking we d be given this once we RSVPd. We knew it was for a Sunday but it turns out it s in the evening and we have work the next day. Plus they require cocktail attire and my SO and myself are very laid back and don t even own clothes for "cocktail" type events. All we have is casual wear and semi casual work attire and this wedding isn t justification enough for us to go clothes shopping just to suit one event. To top it off, we re not even that close to the couple, but we used to be at one point and therefore felt obligated to go, even the invite itself felt more like a courtesy invite anyway. How do we handle this?
Question: How would you do a wedding themed-wedding? Posted: 08 Jan 2016 03:13 PM PST The theme of the wedding is "wedding," literally. Because this couple's first date was at a wedding a few years ago. I was thinking about just planning it very American traditional, but I'm pretty stumped. Any ideas??????

Question: Catholic wedding at Mexico, is it different than here in the US? Posted: 08 Jan 2016 10:52 AM PST We are planning to have a wedding at Mexico since we are from the same town, all our 4 families are over there. How different is it from there as far as the ceremony? I've seen 2 weddings over there and they are the same. So I'm wondering if that's how it has to be or if it's possible to make some changes in the ceremony? As far as vows.
