(we both are gay and in high school), and after a while I broke up with him just cause it didn t feel like we were connecting anymore. I later started dating another guy but it ended quickly as he graduated. I never really got over Lukas though and regretted breaking up with him in the back of my mind. After breaking up we still remained friends as we are in the same friend group and actually grew closer and connected more than we did when we were dating. I started to fall for him again. I think I never really connected with him emotionally in our relationship and it was only physical since we rushed into it after we met each other. The thing is when school ended and we were going home (we go to a boarding school, he lives in Czech Rep) our flights were cancelled and we spent the night together in a hotel room. This person is super nice to me and I tried to pay attention to their actions, of course without being too obvious. I have an interest in this person, but I do not want to cross the wrong boundaries, especially if this person does not share the same interests. Moreover, this person is really nice and playful with me. I have a feeling that it s part of her personality, but just a little more. I ll give examples of past convos/encounters. Example One: My co-woker kinda gave a compliment of how I talk. I have a soft, faint voice that is kinda high pitched. My co-worker mimicked what I said and replied "it was cute" And laughed. Example Two: My co-worker says my name a lot. This is on here because I learned in Psychology that people often repeat your name because they have an interest or they are trying to maintain/catch your attention while conversating. They would say my name is asking random questions, saying random things, etc. Example Three: Often times it would be slow at work and I would sit around. At some moments, my co-worker would approach me and make small talk. Example Four: I am naturally a timid person and my co-worker would always ask if something was wrong if I was out of place or they would come to me if I seem perplexed or asked for help versus any other supervisor or leading associate. |

On the last day of our trip, When I returned home, he contacted me asking if I would come with him and his friend to a night club. I went with my friend and it was fun and we did it again a second time. After this it all went downhill. I met with him a week later and we went by ourselves and he was already asking me if we were a couple. I said it was too soon and that we needed a second date. I went to his house 5 days later and we watched a movie and went out for lunch. We returned and we ended up having sex. It was my first time and he told me he had previous partners that he met on websites and he claimed he had never dated because the girl that he "dated" didn't want to have sex until marriage so he says it was like just hanging out. The next we had sex again. He said I had no emotions and was deceiving him claiming I did not like him. Two days later he messaged me that he could not see me again and basically cut me off. I TRUSTED THIS MOTHERRRF*CKERRR!!!!! I don't know what to do or go to get my money back. He lives about two and a half hours away so we mostly text. I want to just be friends. Would texting him that I just want to be friends be inappropriate or should I call? |

| Posted: 01 Aug 2018 04:10 PM PDT I have really bad anxiety. I believe it's called relationship anxiety and dating my boyfriend is giving me really bad anxiety attacks. I know it's all in my head and I've been reading a lot of books on how to overcome anxiety. It's going to be a long struggle to get over it. I talked to my boyfriend about it two months ago and I told him I wanted to break up so I can get over my anxiety and then get back together. He didn't want to break up and convinced me to stay with him and he said he would help me in anyway he could. Well I actually need space like not talking to him at all for months which makes sense why I wanted to break up with him. I told him I needed a lot of space because just talking to him gives me anxiety, obviously my situation isn't healthy. And he says he understands but he cannot go a few days without messaging me and asking me how I am doing. I feel like this defeats the purpose of space. I get that he's being nice but I literally need probably 6 months without talkin which makes me think why are we still even together? We basically need to be broken up for me to get over my anxiety. I need time for myself. I don't understand why he wants to be in a relationship still, do you see how unhealthy this relationship is so far? I almost feel like he's being selfish and doesn't want to be alone and is forcing me to continue the relationship. What do you guys think? |
