So my friend (apparently not best friend anymore bc i talk to our friends too which is apparently illegal) has a dad who mentally abuses her and i try to be there for her and help her but she is always getting mad at me for no reason and takes it out on me and it's making me depressed and really really sad bc no matter what I try to do she just yells at me. So i'm a senior at Elmhurst college 22 and i live in chicago and this is my last year and i'm upset my mom is making me live on campus and I want to commute to campus. I currently live with my boyfriend.I only have classes tuesdays and thursdays. My mom claims i wont get financial aid if I dont stay on campus. And i'm taking three classes because i struggle in school and my advisor said it would be best to just take 3 and she said if i dont take 4 so also wont pay for me to go back to school. She thinks 3 is part time but 3 or 4 classes is fulltime. 2 or less is parttime. She says i can't commute either because she doesnt want me taking the metra late back to his house. And she said she would worry. But if i stay on campus 4 times out the week i'll be over his house anyway so what's the point. I just got diagnosed with hashimotos. I'm severly depressed and living on campus will make me mkre depressed. I have no one there and have a hard time making friends because i have anxiety. I want to stay with my boyfriend(he is my best friend) and be close to friends in chicago and family. I'm 22 and she is trying to control my life and make me miserable. I dont know if she is scared ill get pregnant or what but i cant get pregnant because hashimotos causes infertility. I just started studying at univerisity, and am already quite worried. I m an extremely introverted person, throughout my life I have had issues making friendships. I therefore kept friends for years, but now they are all gone because of different universities. I feel like the situation will get worse and worse and maybe I will become suicidal. I ended a friendship with this guy because he was becoming too needy and he doesn't respect my need for space. He had lost his dad earlier this year, his family situation hasn't been good, and he got fired from his job for lying about his parents. I tried to be there for him, letting him vent/talk it out. We've talked it out many times, explaining that I need space, I still have my own life to live. He tells me he understands and respect it, but he still does the same thing. When I blocked his number, he started texting me with different numbers (over 20+ different numbers). I don't know what app he's using to be able to do that. I tried to ignore it but I would feel guilty, and I end up responding. I am staying firm with this, I can't take it anymore. But he's been saying I abandoned him at his time of need. That I am causing him pain and showing no remorse about it. He even once said that if anything happens to him, it will be on me. Later, he told me he didn't mean it. I don't want to be responsible. I advised him to get professional help, but he said he can't afford it and the helpline is useless. He said only talking to me helps. What should I do? I am thinking of changing my number so he can't keep texting me whenever he wants anymore. I told him he's harassing me, and he tells me that's not what he's trying to do. I can't see that when he kept using so many different numbers to text me non-stop after obviously I was trying to block him.

I try to enter party that I heard from rumors. When I showed up, he refused to let me in. Then I came back hour later with 12 friends of mine walk in together. He told me to not go in but leave, all 12 friends get into his face and say I am cool and yeah I can come in party then he change his mind after 12 friends being pushy to him. So question is what should I do? He is wrong to treat me differently just because 12 friends didn't come with me at first time. So what's your suggestion for future? I always try get along with everyone, I don't want keep have to bring too many people with me just to get along with somebody.

I'm an 18 year old girl, a senior in high school, and apparently very attractive according to many people, and yet I have only one friend. She's been my friend since 2nd grade. I'm a really shy person, it's just hard for me to approach people and make the first move, and that's really affected my social life. NOBODY my age tries to approach me ever. I go to a summer camp it was really fun but It was all taken away when out of the blue a girl in my group just started having an attitude. We were cool before,, we even shared a bunk when we had an over night trip. All of a sudden she started saying " can you not " to me. Or " shut up" once we were having an event and I was ringing a plastic cow bell. She said to me " you better stop or slap that right out of your hand" I can't remember much more since I try to forget it. Summer camp is almost over. I don't no if she has stuff going on a home and that's why. Then again I was going to tell my counselor but what's the point big whoppir do they kick her from camp and there is only 2 days left. So a few months ago I was at a party with my best friend at her boyfriends house. We were all pretty drunk and when everyone went to sleep he laid on top of me and started fingering me. I didn't want him to do that at all but I didn't try that hard to stop him because I was so drunk and I couldn't believe what was happening. He's also not the cheating type AT ALL and him and my friend have been dating for over a year and their relationship is really serious/long term. He was so drunk that I don't think he remembers. It's killing me inside keeping this a secret. I don't know if it would be better to just keep it a secret or maybe tell her boyfriend what happened and leave it up to him to do something. I just don't know what the right thing to do is at this point. Any advice??

I've been having a hard time receiving answers for my question, so I'll include less details. I've known my older, married, male friend for 2 years (I'm female). We've been friends for over a year. We're not super close, but we have a bond. When we talk, it's never awkward, we never run out of things to talk about. The majority of the time when we see each other, it's at church (which he's the one who invited me over a year ago, but my mom joins me now so we sit elsewhere). When we're at church, we rarely talk. If his guy friends aren't monopolizing his time and if his wife isn't there (which she and I are friendly with each other, but we're not friends. She's never tried to be my friend or vice versa, but we get along), he sometimes comes over to me to chat and say hello to my mom, but otherwise, we don't really talk. He did come over to us today to say hello, but we didn't chat. Today, my mom asked me why my friend and I never talk at church. I see him outside of church once every couple of weeks and it's just the two of us (nothing inappropriate) and we talk for roughly 20 minutes, but he just doesn't seem to chat when we're at church. Do you think that's weird or unusual? I told my mom I think it's because he's so popular and always seems surrounded by his friends and I don't like to bother him, which is true. Today, he was surrounded by a few guy friends, but we made eye contact and I could tell he wanted to come chat, but didn't wanna be rude to his friends. My mom is aware that we're like brother and sister. That's why she's confused as to why we don't really seem to talk at church. We talk outside of church just fine, but at church, I might as well be just another acquaintance. Like I said, two Sundays ago, he sat in the seat in front of me for a minute or two and chatted with me, but then went back to his seat once service started.
