I was 14 - 15 I was liked by my friends, alot. Not just the boy group even the girls. One night I was staring at the ceiling then the door rang, I rushed and answered the door, Its a group of my friends asking me to come bring my guitar to the beach and sing with them. I said I didnt want to come, but they kept on asking and even started begging. I just said no I didnt want to come. Even my parents told me to go. But I refused. After they closed the door and my parents went to the living room, I ran to my room slammed the door shut and started crying thinking to myself I wanted to go. I actually wanted to be in the group and go there but I could only say no. I had no excuses. They all had fun. Why would I say I didnt want to go. I screamed inside I want to come.

Ok so how do you think a best friend would react if you didn't text them first anymore and they didn't really text you anymore either? I'm going through the same situation with my best friend. We haven't talked in days and I haven't texted her first in over a week. I think i'm kinda moving on because there have been times I haven't had much fun with her and i've just changed anyway

For the past two years I have had chronic depression and anxiety due to moving schools and not gaining any friends. It isn't that I do not friends it is just that my social anxiety literally takes over my life. Everyday it is a battle to get up in the morning. I am really scared of sitting alone at lunch and gym like I had for the past year. The problem is I had picked up acquaintances through out the past but they already had friends of their own. Plus I am not really into things everyone my age is into. I like to hike and listen to bands like the Grateful Dead. Once someone becomes my friend I promise I would always be there for them and do whatever for them. I am very chill once you meet me. My motto is go with the flow but I am just too shy to talk to anyone. I am also scared that the upperclassmen will hate me because I am the freshmen. I just really do not know what do... please help, I would really really appreciate.

So I usually go for lunch with my co-workers. I am very close to one of my co-workers. We usually go for coffee. So recently I have started hanging out with other co-workers too. We all go together. Sometimes my close CW doesn't tell me that she has plans today with other co-workers and goes without me. So one day I did not tell her and went with other co-workers. From that day, she is ignoring me, avoiding me and won't text me. We were suppose to go for dinner next week. She cancelled that plan too. She ask my other co-worker that why do I always text other co-worker instead of her now, she is not asking me anything though. Is she jealous? There are so many dinners, she went without me, I don't think so I did something wrong by not inviting her to one of the dinner. I feel bad too when she goes without me but I don't say anything. She always say that she can't wait for me because shift ends 2 hours late.

Past year, I was there for him through his suicidal thoughts, struggled with coming out, as well as when he came out to one of his friends who didn't take it very well at all and cut him out. Talking with him about all that has brought us from friends to best friends. He's really the first friend I really love and care so deeply for. After all that, he asked me to prom. Couple months later, I see his true colours, that he's racist towards aboriginal and black people. I get the vibe that maybe asians too but I'm asian so he might not say his complete truth to my face. He is white. We've gotten in multiple heated arguments, its the angriest I've ever been with a friend. I told myself as his friend, i should take my time to educate him about why he's wrong. I would confront him and call him out about it repeatedly, share my viewpoints, explain why his opinions are ****. But he's hard headed. He doesn't absorb any of it. I feel like he's not even taking me seriously or even listening. Its gotten to a point where I don't know if its worth my time anymore. I don't want a friend with these viewpoints. Contemplating on cutting him out my life, but it seems so brutal and cold, I don't want to hurt him like his ex-friend did.

I have 5 friends who I love dearly. They are very supportive and I am very lucky to have them. That being said, I think they are a bit childish. I don't consider myself to be extremely mature, because I still have room to mature. But when I am with them, they can be very hyper and obnoxious. They will run around, and are very loud and inconsiderate of the people around them. And I didn't mind messing around when I was younger, but now we are older so I thought that they would act a bit more mature. But they don't. It can sometimes be embarrassing. I don't want to feel like this, since they are my friends, but I do. Other people that are our age are more calm and not as hyper and childish as them. I usually want to sit around and talk, but all they want to do is run around and play games. I want to say something, but I don't want them to feel hurt. Any suggestions?

I used to have friends but they started to bully me and make everyone hate me. Now that ive moved on no one will be my friend I moved and even got a job but everyone acts so nice but next thing I know behind my back its different. I know im shaped different, and im not skinny. Last week I went to the gym and told my bf. Usually I'd say I'm done with the gym but I didn't this ime and he was the one who texted me 3 hours later saying he was going to the library(where I go everyday) he was pretty cold then I discovered he got jealous and was wondering why I didn't ask him to come to the gym. So on friday I was going to the gym and told him he said ok baby I'm working have a good workout and kiss. I got upset and said alright thanks. Then unlike him he said alright? Thanks?. I said yeah when I don't ask you you get upset when I do you don't come. He said you know I have a job and if I can't come there's a reason. I said ok which is why I didn't ask you last time. He was like ok you won. I said what's with the attitude s d he said it was coming from my lack of effort to his kids and response. He's usually not aggressive or looking for a fight. Anyway I was like I'm done with this attitude of yours, I don't know where all this is coming from. He said there's no attitude. If you're done ok. I wish you the best. I said okay likewise and he sent a thumbs up. He usually doesn't fight with me or anything but the pay week I was sensing aggression. He even had bought me a 1000 dollar purse that week too. This was on a Friday. Is it strange how easily it ended and I haven't heard from him? He Was supposed to drive me to the airport, I left MondayHe got weird the first time I didn't invite him because he got suspicious that I was with the trainer like last time.

you hear a lot about girls abandoning their friends when they get a boyfriend but i feel like i've tried my absolute hardest to neuter my friendships with my friends but all they do is ignore me. my boyfriend used to sit with me and my friends as well as one of my friends boyfriends and everything was great. we'd all talk and have a good time. i try to include them in the conversation and never isolate myself with my boyfriend. but lately my friends have been LITERALLY ignoring me. i'll ask them how their days are going and they'll just be like ....... it makes me feel like there's something wrong with me that they don't care about our friendships. i haven't talked or made eye contact with one of them in over a month and we will be in the same room. it really gets me down. should i end things? because i deserve friends that will be there for me like i am for them. but i don't want to isolate myself because i have no friends to fall back on

We've been best friends from childhood. Over time we saw each other less and less due to school, work, and other things. But it was like no time had passed, you know? Except this time is different. We haven't seen each other in over a year. I tried to contact her a few times saying that we need to meet up but nothing is ever planned. I try to catch up with her and see how she's doing but all I get is small talk. I eventually gave up being the only person keeping the conversation going. That was nearly 6 months ago. She never contacts me. I get the occasional Facebook like on a post but that's it. I don't even know if I can consider her my friend anymore. She kind of just left me high and dry.
