Question: Is this normal behavior for my manager to treat me like this? Posted: 25 Aug 2018 01:11 AM PDT 1. He always asks if I'm staying late (he works graveyard shifts, I usually work 3pm to 11pm and he works 10pm to 6am) I offered once to stay till 1am since it was pretty busy and he kept asking "Are you still gonna stay till 1am"? He also mentioned that I should do graveyard with him on weekends. Graveyard consists of one manager, one cashier and one cook. So we wouldn't be alone. 2. Two days ago I was working with him and I did a loud sigh. You know, when you kinda exhale a bit loud? Lol. And he asked if I was okay. He asked if I was okay a few other times too so I'm assuming I looked drained. Lol. 3. When I worked till 1am for the third time with him, he said "you live nearby or what?" So I'm assuming it was to see if I'd make it home safely or something? 4. He also brags about me to all the new people that I train saying that their lucky their getting trained by me since I'm really good. (His words. Not mine) 5. He laughs at all my jokes. ALSO, a few days ago another manager was gonna send me to clean lobby (we work in a restaurant) and he said "no. She's taking orders. I'll do it" managers never clean lobby. At least they never have in the four years I've worked there. 6. I've also expressed how much I hate cleaning (I still do it obviously) but he never makes me wash dishes even when I was supposed to a few times (I've expressed even more hate for that). Is this weird behavior or normal? |
Question: I just embarrassed myself in front of my classmates? Posted: 24 Aug 2018 08:18 PM PDT Okay so today we got our school-issued laptops and I expected all websites except educational ones to be blocked like they were last year. So I googled BuzzFeed out of curiosity, and turns out it wasn't blocked. So I accessed any website I could possibly think of and nothing was blocked. And my entire grade basically has this homework help group chat that we use to just ask questions in general, so I asked, "are no websites blocked this year?" And a person asked, "what?" So I sent a picture of BuzzFeed on the lap top and a bunch of people started teasing me. They were like "Ooh you better be careful with that that's a no no website." "Watch yourself *insert name*" "you are a hacker" and I know it meant nothing but I'm scared they're gonna think I was trying to be cool or something and break a rule and show it off to the group chat. That's not what I was trying to do at all. And I'm scared people are just gonna think I'm stupid for not realizing that no websites were blocked this year. I feel like they think I made a big deal out of nothing and everyone was teasing me about it. What should I do |
Question: Agree or disagree it’s a bad idea to get into a relationship with a single mom? Posted: 24 Aug 2018 06:14 PM PDT The ex is always hanging around and there's a good chance she will go back to him |
