Question: Why did my friend try to give me wasp clothes? Posted: 24 Aug 2018 05:43 PM PDT My friend was going to give me some old clothes of his that he outgrew. When I went with him to get them from his car, he pulled out the clothes and then said, "Before we do this, are you allergic to wasps?" I'm not, but I said yes just to see where it was going. He then proceeded to put them back in the car and say "Maybe another time, then." What does this mean? Please help, I'm a bit worried about whoever is going to receive these clothes in my stead. |
Question: Am I in love? What's wrong with me? Posted: 24 Aug 2018 05:11 PM PDT I'm just going to basically start out with this story by saying we're both girls, I've known her since second grade, and we became really good friends in fourth grade. We're in eighth grade now. Anyways, last year, I started to realize that I kind of like her. It was kind of painful to realize it. I didn't want to ruin our friendship, because I still love her as a friend. But this summer, she moved. And I REALLy really miss her. I've thought about her multiple times every day. Last night I cried a lot about the fact she moved. I miss her. And I'm only 13. I don't have my period or anything, so don't blame it on PMS. Thanks. I just want to know what to do. |
Question: Should I give my friend another chance and talk to her? Posted: 24 Aug 2018 04:53 PM PDT So this just happened recently during my 2017-2018 college year. I have a roommate that I'm very close with, it's like a sister-type of relationship where you do things together and go out together. As our year as a freshman in college was coming to an end, I went through a mental breakdown. People in my community (my ethnicity) start to point fingers at me telling me that I'm hurting my roommate. Telling me that I'm responsible for her well-being and education. Telling me that I'm not doing enough for her. Telling me that I was the one who did her wrong and that I'm the bad one. Telling me that she cared for me so much, more than I do. Telling me that she did all these things for myself. Telling me to do what she want. Telling me that it's okay to let her manipulate me to doing what she want. That my well-being doesn't matter but hers.Hearing that people believed her because she cried made me wonder. What if I broke down in front of them too, would they have believed me too? When we both decided to talk this out instead of more rumors flying around, she back out last minute. At first, I thought it was because she had her own circumstances. Later that night I found out that she lied to me. I messaged her but to no avail, she did not respond back to me. Even though she did me wrong countless times, I forgave her. Despite my siblings telling me that she's toxic to me, I still went ahead and forgave her. Should I confront her and tell her how she's hurting me or no? After a while, she now message me that she want to meet up and talk about this whole issue so should I meet up with her or no? That's the real question that I'm asking. |
Question: Can someone tell me how it’s the education system in the USA? Posted: 24 Aug 2018 02:56 PM PDT Heyy I'm from Brazil and I really wanna know how is your educational system over there! In High School, all subjects are obligatory? Like chemistry and physics are obligatory, or not? Please tell me about it! |
Question: What does this really mean? Posted: 24 Aug 2018 02:41 PM PDT Ok what does it really mean if a friend says that you are their best friend forever? Does it mean that they wouldn't know what to do without you? And that they're really dependent on you? I have a friend that says I'm her best friend forever and I asked her one day because I was curious I asked her well would you be ok without me and she said I don't know let's never find out. I was just curious about what she would say is all |
Question: What would you consider to be GEEKY? Posted: 24 Aug 2018 02:20 PM PDT Going to a geek meetup tomorrow (in this context seems to be comic, cosplay, etc), but I'm kind of more geek by association and worried about being...well, found out! It's one of only a few meetups locally and I need to make friends, a guy I sort of know (potential friend) has made a point to make sure I was going so I feel I have to turn up and I also want to as I've no friends locally so want to meet new people. Any ideas on what I could talk about? |
Question: What does this mean? Posted: 24 Aug 2018 01:04 PM PDT Ok so I've heard of people that lose their friends. Why does this happen and if their friends leave weren't they not true friends to begin with? I'm sorry if these sound like dumb questions but I have been wondering about this |
Question: Why did he joke about moving together? Posted: 24 Aug 2018 12:01 PM PDT My friend asked me where was I going after graduating College and I told him that I planning on going to Texas to attend Veterinary College and he tried to make a joke by how maybe he should move to Texas and live with me, which I thought I was crazy because I doubt it but he also kept staring at me while I was talking to other friends. |
Posted: 24 Aug 2018 10:41 AM PDT A friend of mine that I have not seen for a while texted me how have you been and I have not seen him for months and we are not friends,so do I just say I am good, thank you... |
Question: Why do I struggle to tell my friends things? Posted: 24 Aug 2018 09:07 AM PDT I have two best friends and they're the best friends in the world. But I struggle sooo much to talk to them about boys, or if I fancy someone. It feels so awkward and like I'm telling my parents. The thing is I have no problem talking to others about it and close male friends but I just can't tell my bffs? Why is this? |
Question: Why should I do if I have a bounty hunter after me? Posted: 24 Aug 2018 08:16 AM PDT I live in a crazy redneck area. These people would have the audacity if they wanted you and wanted you at their house they would hire a bounty hunter to bring you to their house by force. If I have bounty hunters at my door what should I do? |
Question: I will answer yours if you help me, please Can men just be friends? Posted: 24 Aug 2018 08:01 AM PDT I have an innocent crush on an older gentleman (he is probably 25+ years older) It's just harmless and I haven't done anything creepy. Plus he is married. I would never do anything to jeopardize someones marriage. He only knows because my husband told him. He is acting all weird now. He barely said anything to me last we saw him and just stared at me. Can't a guy just be friends with a woman? Why is he weird now??? |
Posted: 24 Aug 2018 07:18 AM PDT I go back to school in about a week and I was planning to wear contacts. The thing is I am super nervous. I literally cried because I was scared of what people were going to say. It is not in a negative way though. Like I am not afraid of negative comments I'm afraid of all comments like even positive ones. I feel the same way about questions too. Like if someone asks me why im not wearing glasses im gonna get angry. I wouldnt go off on them but I would be super annoyed and angry. People are telling me that no one cares but i just dont believe them. They dont understand that people do care. They always confront me about anything i do. Someone was even surprised that i had snapchat. That really got on my nerves because they just assumed i wouldnt have snap because im quiet in class. They think i have no life and that i dont do a lot of normal teen things. I wouldnt say im a nerd or dork, im pretty popular because im on a team but people always confront me about my actions and im sick of it. People were even surprised that i made the team or even tried out. |
Question: Should I expect a girl that I'm dating to tell me big news in her life? Posted: 24 Aug 2018 05:06 AM PDT She was recently accepted to law school, but she did not tell me. Does that me she does not see as a potential bf? I figured out that she was accepted from Facebook. We have been dating for 4 months now. |
Question: I need advice about changing schools again? Posted: 23 Aug 2018 11:59 PM PDT Basically, 2 years ago, I had issues at my old school involving a bunch of my ex-friends. This affected me for the whole of last year, as I no longer had a friend group and all they would do was to taunt me. However, I had a couple of friends scattered here and there, but we never really hung out with each other inside of school. Because of this, I got really sad last year and kept beating myself up for not having friends. I eventually decided to switch out of my old school to the one beside it for a new beginning. However, coming here wasn't any better as again I have the same issues regarding friends. I don't really fit in with any of the kids here and all of them already have established friend groups. I now kind of want to switch back because back then, at least I was very much familiar with the environment (I've been there 10 years) and I also had some steady friends. My issue is that I no longer think this is possible - both schools are private schools, and registering again would take a lot of money and time, which I don't think my parents would be okay with. In addition, I have just started eleventh grade and am just beginning the IB curriculum, so switching out again would probably be embarrassing and problematic. Please help.... I'm feeling really suffocated and unhappy in this school and I just want to feel better! |
