Question: Unconditional love, does it exist? Posted: 13 Aug 2018 03:37 PM PDT My husband and I seem to differ on a number of things. One main issue is that I believe in unconditional love where as he thinks that's only reserved for a parent/child or brother/sister relationship. He feels that if unconditional love existed in relationships then there would be no divorce at all. Couples would always overlook everything for the sake of keeping the marriage or relationship together. I'm not sure I can continue on with this relationship any longer with his views. Should unconditional love be a staple in a relationship? |
Question: Was I wrong to bring up to my husband that I know he masturbated this morning? Posted: 13 Aug 2018 02:28 PM PDT My husband and I are in our late 40s and have been married about 8 years, together about 15 years. Sex life is ok but there are times when weeks go by and we don't do anything. I leave for work before him in the mornings and he usually leaves about an hour later. He works 10 hour days so it's late when he gets home. J just got home from work and noticed a crusty towel on our bedroom floor. Apparently he masturbated after I left and forgot to pick up his towel. When I discovered it I sent him this text, "Really?? You jacked off to WHOM or WHAT once I left out of here and before you went to work??" We got into a bit of an argument because he said I didn't need to approach him like that. Actually, he said I shouldn't have said anything. I personally don't masturbate because I have a husband for that but I'm more angry that he chose to do that instead of trying to get some from me ar night. And no, I'm not a morning sex person. Now I feel he's not going to want to talk to me when he gets home. Was I wrong? |
Question: Adult hygiene- how is this an issue?!? Posted: 13 Aug 2018 01:24 PM PDT How do you bring it up to your spouse that they need to have better hygiene? Showering, brushing teeth, deodorant, etc.? |
Question: What do I do about my wife's parents that keep critizing my career? Posted: 13 Aug 2018 10:37 AM PDT My wife's parents are always giving me **** for the job that I currently have. I am a retail manager meanwhile my wife owns a couple of businesses state-wide all while doing real estate on the side. I normally work a 7-4 kind of job while she's always working. I'm okay with that but her parents aren't. They keep giving me **** because she makes probably 10 times as much as me. In the beginning they did this but my wife always assured me that my career didn't bother her. But now I feel like it is. Because when we argue she complains that I don't work as much as she does or even contribute a dime to the household like she does and even sometimes says that "My parents are right that I'm lazy" and blah blah blah. But she usually apologizes But I think she's starting to resent me and her parents are getting to her. What do I do? Sorry for leaving this out but she said because I make "so little" She said that my checks belong to me and she will pay for everything the house needs. She wont let me because my checks aren't enough to her standards so its my "spending money" Reread the question Beverly, I said she said that NOT me |

Posted: 12 Aug 2018 10:52 PM PDT Before he said he wanted a divorce he was really distant from me. I knew something was wrong, I ask him and he said nothing was wrong. I have ask him repeatedly if he is seeing someone else, and he keeps saying he is not seeing anyone. I ask him tonight to just be honest about it, we are divorcing. He said "You know" So what I'm asking is do you think he was saying, "Yes, I am seeing someone else". |
Question: Is it cheating, if you and your husband are separated and you sleep with 3 people? Posted: 12 Aug 2018 10:41 PM PDT I cheated on my husband 2 1/2 years ago. We tried to fix it but ended up separating for a month and a half. I didn't think we would work things out and that divorce was in my future. In that time I slept with 3 different men. Now our separation wasn't legal we just went separate lives and got a restraining order put up. but in the end we actually worked things out, and now that we are seeing a therapist, he wants to say I cheated on him but the therapist says I didn't because we weren't together. I don't know who to believe. So I'm asking everyone else. |
