Question: Coworker asked if I had interest in a girl? Posted: 10 Aug 2018 03:26 PM PDT Background: About 1 month ago I was invited to a professional baseball game from a female coworker. At the game I was seated next to her niece the same age as me (22). There we talked a little and she would ask me questions about the score, stats, etc. I don't believe I showed or had intentions, at the time, of getting to know this girl more after the game. She had to leave early so we said bye and was nice to meet you. Fast forward today: While I was driving my coworker around she asked me if I remembered the baseball game and I said yes. Then she asked me if I remembered sitting next to her niece and I said yes. Her last question was " Do you have any interest in her?". I thought about it and said yes because of a few reasons. My coworker said ok and we had moved onto another conversation by then. What would be the reason my coworker would ask me if I was interested in her niece? I hadn't brought up the game or her niece since a month ago. Thanks for any input! |
Posted: 10 Aug 2018 02:17 PM PDT I bought a dress because I really liked it. It looks feminine and colorful. The problem is that I haven't worn anything like it in many years. I'm 38 now. I feel like if I were to wear it, it would send the message to my family that I feel good about myself. And I know that my said family members don't feel good enough about themselves to wear a beautiful dress. So I guess I feel guilty? I feel guilty about feeling good about myself? help? |
Posted: 10 Aug 2018 12:31 PM PDT I asked a question similar to this one previously, but hardly anyone answered. I am a 30-year-old British female and a German language instructor here in the UK. Twelve years ago, when I was 18, I won a scholarship at one of America's top Colleges. A fellow foreign exchange student, a young Japanese woman, attended that same school. She was 20. This woman would bully me, slap me, make fun of me, humiliate me and threatened to lock me in a room full of spiders and snakes. I came from an affluent background, so she wanted me to give her $25,000. After 18 months of her abuse, she was finally apprehend, and charged with numerous counts of assault, harassment and 1 count of grand larceny. She was sentenced to 5 years imprisonment and charged with a $25,000 fine. After her release, she was then put under psychiatric evaluation and diagnosed with ASPD, BPD, Bipolar I and Major Depressive Disorders. This explains the numerous occasions of me catching her self-harming, crying, banging her head against the wall, screaming and pulling her hair. It also explains why she said "The pain I'm feeling will be yours. You will feel my pain." After 7 years of therapy, she is now living a normal, happy, healthy life with a husband, son and boy/girl twins on the way. |
Question: Do you agree with interracial marriage? Posted: 10 Aug 2018 10:51 AM PDT I know this is a debatable topic, but I wanna know why? We're all human, and I'm pretty sure that's the only requirement to be together. I don't get why a skin color should dictate that. Amercians go by the term "Love is love" and it's not fair if that saying doesn't apply for everyone. People have said to "keep races pure" but in the end who cares? As long as there's no beastiality or incest I wanna know why some people disagree with it. |
Question: Do you think I am a bad aunt? Posted: 10 Aug 2018 07:20 AM PDT I had a car accident 2 months ago and had a spine injury, so now I live in small room in my parents house in the ground floor... My movements are limited; short trips to the kitchen the bathroom sometimes I watch tv for few minutes in the living room and go back to my room as I can't sit for a long time. My 9 year old neice who lives in a near area started to spend her summer vacation in our house and sleep with me in my room. At first it was fun but then I started to need my privacy. She's well behaved and good girl, but I started to get annyed for lacking of privacy and her mess around the room specially it's a small room... I can't read a book without her interpreting and asking for things, She startec to use my pyjamas even though her mother had packed her clothes and I barely have some clean clothes because I cannot wash them and now she sharing my tiny wardrobe. It's not that I don't her to be here, I just thought like she could spend few days here and then go back to her house for week or two then get back here again. Because she is here with her siblings for more than two weeks now, and they went back home but she is still here. I am very much lacking for privacy but feeling so bad about my self not to want her here. Do you think I am a bad auntie?! ( excuse my English as it's not first language) |
Question: People act very shady and rude for no reason? Posted: 10 Aug 2018 04:50 AM PDT Okay so people have been acting very shady and rude with me for no reason. I am a very nice person will be there for you help you etc. so why is it so hard for people to just be nice and communicate like normal people? I am for sure on the fact that I think a lot has to do with the fact that yes I have had my hard times but I truly am a very happy person now and I don't know if that has to do with it? Could someone just please give advice on what to do? should I just let them come to me? thank you so much! |
