Posted: 21 Aug 2018 08:37 PM PDT Ok so there's this guy and he's had a crush on me since 8th grade( he's told other people which is how I'm sure) and we're seniors now, like he literally never stops staring at me. The reason nothing wver happened between us is because I'm chubby and his friends were pretty shitty people there's more to the story of him being shallow but the basis of it was because I'm bigger. Now he has some new friends and they're more genuine. Since his switch his started actually talking to me. If he tries to pursue a relationship with me would it be better to say no thank you because of his shallow thoughts in the past? |
Posted: 21 Aug 2018 08:32 PM PDT I have friends that met their boyfriends/girlfriends in the real world instead of dating sites. I thinks it's the old fashioned way. Why dating sites don't work? Why everybody get their boyfriends/girlfriends in the real world? |
Posted: 21 Aug 2018 08:32 PM PDT My best friend likes a guy. The guy likes her. The problem does not lie in the guy at all. He is one of my friends as well. My best friend, as near and dear to my heart she is, is bringing the guy down. Whenever he has something serious to bring up, he has a habit of being quiet to process it while my friend is the exact opposite, ranting to get the information out. So every time he gets quiet about a serious topic, she gets MAD and rants about it to me. She also wore an outfit that was too short to a dance with him once and he has asked her specifically not to wear it. (This is simply one of his own personal red flags; doesn't mean it is necessarily wrong). Also, when they mention their beliefs, they (almost) fought about them because the guy had his specific beliefs while my bf doesn't see what is wrong with it. His brother has mentioned that he, his mom, and his sister all have mentioned red flags. The guy who likes her knows all of these concerns but still doesn't want to end it. She has this mindset in her head that he is "the one" but this sets off soo many alarms in my head and makes me think that if they end up together (at least, at this stage) they'll never learn to communicate/end up happy. I think they could end up happy together but I truly think she needs to mature before getting into a relationship with this guy. How can I bring this up to her? Should I even mention anything? Is it my job to say anything? |
Question: Should I not date him just because he chews tobacco? Posted: 21 Aug 2018 08:32 PM PDT He treats me like royalty&I love him he loves me we are both happy together&have been together for a little over a month. Nobody knew&we were perfectly fine. Today everyone found out& started making jokes being mean about how he was too ugly to be with me&they couldnt believe it. finally I looked at my cousin I said really your joking about me&him..look at your boyfriend he is even uglier than big foot. I regret saying it but Im not sorry because I was sick&tired of everyone being hateful. I looked at my aunt I said was he really skin and bones when you got with him? I know when I was born he weighed over 700 pounds& was having surgery to have weight took off when I was 5. She didn't find it too funny. But I didn't find it cute when she said I shouldn't be with someone who is "fat"..&my brother&his 2 friends kept laughing at me, I pointed my finger at all 3of them&said so the 3 of u ALL3 of u have the perfect relationship? I pointed at my brother.. first of all who is this person who is so perfect? Does mama&daddy know about her? Cause last time I checked u weren't with anyone.. & the2 of u how can u laugh when u can't even get from point A to point B? No body was on my side at that point&I still do not know if I did the right thing. Everybody kept saying he chews tobacco&is going to have it on both sides of ur car&told me I better wear boots. I said at least he treats me good&we have love care respect& honesty any of yall. I told said no diff in him chewing it& them smoking. |
Question: Friend zoned but acting weird? Posted: 21 Aug 2018 08:30 PM PDT Hey yahooites, I have this weird thing going on and I don't get it: There's this girl in my neighborhood who has this guy, but he's never around much and stuff... hardly ever visits her and stuff either. But they're always texting each other every day. She knows I liked her forever but she friendzoned me. But I what I don't get: Even my closest female friends don't do what she does: She says she talks to me as much as him and stuff. She'd message me as she wakes up and spend all day messaging me asking what I'm doing, if I ate, what I planned to do and all that crazy "I'm your woman" kinda stuff. She even tells me what she's doing even when I never ask her and this happens sometimes 20 times in a day she'll find me.... even messaging when she goes to sleep! But if I ask her to go out and stuff she finds reasons not to unless I don't talk to her, then she gets upset that I'm not talking to her and stuff and sometimes then asks if I wanna go out. (weird). She even sends me stuff like nudes on my phone if I ask! or even just touching her, but coming to making lil moves on her to kiss and stuff she runs and says she's got a guy, but you never know what'll happen later. So I'm lost like Hell: does a girl who doesn't like you like that act like that? Or does she feel something that she doesn't want to admit? I get she friendzoned me and I'm ok with it, but she acts like my woman wanting to know everything I'm doing and stuff every day, all day. Help! |

Question: My ex girlfriend promise me that she won't forget me ? Posted: 21 Aug 2018 08:18 PM PDT What does exactly she means by that ? She basically broke up with me because school is first. Question: He said I love you as a person? Posted: 21 Aug 2018 08:07 PM PDT What does a guy mean when they say they love you as a person. Been seeing someone for two months an he says that all the time is that the same as loving a person in general? |
Question: Am I cheating on my boyfriend? Posted: 21 Aug 2018 08:03 PM PDT Okay, so before I start, my boyfriend knows that I let other guys know if I was single I would date them, or like them. So there was this guy I worked with, I remember thinking that he had a low view of himself.I thought about cheering him up by tell him that I like him and if I was single I think I would like him more (than friend of course.) Later on we become friends on facebook, and video chatting if I wasn't busy. We we did, he was more about himself, he was more sexual when he out of work and I usually do that with my friends I pretty much use to it, it didn't bother me one bit. He like that he could be more like himself, which made me feel like I was doing a good thing as a friend. He then would talk about my boyfriend and all things he has done wrong for me and that if he was with me he would do it all. Alright, crossed the line, I brushed it off my shoulder and ignore him when he said stuff like that. After we video chatted again, and it was like normal than the next day I wore a tank top to work, (because I work at a warehouse and it hot as hell) and him and other guy started talking about my chest which made me feel a little uncomfortable but I use to it since my chest is very large. So later on that night, I was still wearing that tank top, I was bored and call him. He was glad to see me, he called me beautiful, I didn't like that at all. So we are talking about work when I was reaching for my phone and I show |

Question: Omg how can I tell my girlfriend that her obesity is out of control and not attractive? Posted: 21 Aug 2018 07:40 PM PDT plz dont judge me. im a nice guy. She l8fted her arms and it made my stomach turn. its flab and celulite her pot belly is so big it looks like a 5 gallon barrel her ankles and thighs are like the marshmellow man and yet she still tries flitlrting with me and being sexual 24/7. Ive watched her get fatter this year like nothing will stop it. will there be an obvious point for her? this is not fair to me. I love her too much? Posted: 21 Aug 2018 07:37 PM PDT i had just gotten out of a 6 year relationship that ended ugly and he was there for me like family. That bond led me to accept a relationship with him, one that started ugly because our families disagreed with us being together. (He also has a 1 year old daughter by his old girlfriend who he left in dominican republic when he came in september of 2017) we still dated for 3 months, i accepted that his baby mother was still present and even though i was his girlfriend here in the states he had a girlfriend with a child in DR. We broke up do to family pressures and he brought her over to visit for 2 months since he were no longer together. A month passed by and we couldnt be apart anymore, till the day she left we snook around and saw each other even though his mom knew i still loved him and was seeing him. Long story short, they were suppose to get married and he says he couldnt do that to me. He sent her back 3 weeks early so he could be with me but instead of all the happy moments id soon have with him, he spent them mourning over his daughters absence which i too felt with him. He decided hed take his space away from a committed relationship and mutually we decided we want to be together but wed casually date until he was ready to let her go and start soemthing serious with me. Problem is i leave in january to louisiana and thats only 4 months away. How do i give him his time but get him to commit to only me and finally break things off with his baby mother? |
Posted: 21 Aug 2018 07:26 PM PDT I've been talking to a girl on snapchat for about three weeks and she seems like she likes me. So today we were talking and I asked her what she was doing tomorrow and she said "I have class". Does that mean no or is she just telling me she has class and really wasn't for sure what I was asking. Should I drop it and not ask her on a date or go ahead and ask her anyway. Just trying not to make it awkward. |

Question: Should I End Things or Continue to Wait and See ? Posted: 21 Aug 2018 06:18 PM PDT I've been seeing this man for little over two months. We're both in our mid twenties. He has a lot of the qualities and characteristics I'm looking for in a man.We get along great and have good conversations. We live about two hours away from each other so in-person meet ups can be challenging. We also lead very busy lives (I work two jobs and I'm about to enter into a master's program. He works, is about to start law school, and is also involved in a number a organisations). When we do talk, its almost like I have to schedule an appointment. I have to ask him advance and he basically approves or doesn't. Also when texting, it'll take him in between 1-3 days to respond to a text. If I'm lucky, he'll give me the ,"sorry I've been busy" response. I completely understand being busy and not getting to your phone, but to be busy for 3 days is a little excessive.I truly do appreciate that he has so much going on but I feel like he has a "to do list" and a "things I'll get to list" and I'm on the latter .I've told him before that I feel like he's too busy to include me into his life and he apologized and said he would do better and make more time for me. This was about two week ago and nothing has changed. The lack of communication, consideration for my feelings, and consistency is truly aggravating. Part of me feelings like I'm over-exaggeration and I need to understand that he is busy but the other part of me feels that he can put aside a few minutes just to check-in and chat. Advice? |
Posted: 21 Aug 2018 06:11 PM PDT I am 15 years old and had sex with my boyfriend at 14. I know this is incredibly young. I myself expected it to happen when I was at least 16. however, my mum found out last November by finding a condom in my bag. she said that it wasn't enough protection for a 15 year old boy to just use a condom. fair enough so she said once I am on the pill I can go to his house. its taken from then till now to get me on the pill but know I'm not allowed to go until I'm 16? which is in 8 months. she doesn't believe I can love someone at this age but I know I do. I've been with him for 20 months now we've been through most things a normal adult couple would go through in a year (pregnancy scare, STI, cheating, friends and family not accepting the other half). I know I love him I cant make this clear enough, I feel love for my family, friends, pets, I know its not the same but I know what its like to care so much for someone that ur truly scared to lose them. anyway please can someone help. I've tried talking to my mum, she's too stubborn and just ends up shouting and getting annoyed, I cant wait 8 months.... am I really expected to? |
Posted: 21 Aug 2018 06:07 PM PDT I've had a crush on this girl for a while and she said she likes me too. We decided we would start dating shortly after we got into high school. The only problem is that she recently told me she wants to become a guy. I'm completely supportive of that but I don't want to date someone who's nonbianary. Does that make me a horrible person? I'm bisexual and I thought that meant I only like girls and guys, which is how I feel. I thought pansexual was for everyone else. Also if I'm not a bad person how do I tell him I don't want to date him anymore. |

Question: I am in love with this girl, should I go to New York to surprise her? Posted: 21 Aug 2018 05:33 PM PDT I'm not going to give too many details here because that would take too long as this is a really complicated situation. To sum up, I met her in Vegas, she dated my best friend, then we went together. I've loved her since a few days after leaving (the first time) and they didn't date for too long. I told her how I felt in Vegas this time and things went well, but when I asked to take things further she said she's not ready for a relationship because of ex's. I told her it's fine because she lives in New York and I live in Wisconsin, so we have time to figure things out and we agreed that us eventually being together for real is a possibility. I dropped her off at the airport three days ago, and haven't been able to stop thinking about her since and I just regret how it didn't ultimately work out right now. I know we have time but what if she finds someone else? I'm going to keep living my life, but I want her to be my life. Basically, I've been thinking about driving out to see her and surprise her, and I just want opinions on this. I know the risks of going and the (only) reward of going, but I think she might really like it and it'll cause us to become what I want and what I believe she wants eventually. I just want some opinions, because I'm planning to go in a week and a half. Please don't ask non-relevant questions in your answers just note that I love this girl and I want to be with her and want to know if this is a good idea despite the risks |

Question: Dating: Should I keep fighting? Posted: 21 Aug 2018 05:24 PM PDT I'm 26 and my boyfriend is 24. We've been dating for about a year now. For 10 months, we were okay. We didn't have many issues. Now, he's been a bit distant after my sexual assault (a month ago). He doesn't visit me, take me out or really invite me over. In the last week, he didn't see me at all and told me he was going out of town with his friend. Last night, he told me he would take me out for icecream after my class but he didn't go through with it. Tonight, he asked if I wanted to come over. He said he's stress about financial stuff but I'm not sure why he is distant from me. He doesn't mind talking to me on the phone or texting but we don't do anything anymore. It's very casual and laid back. What to do? I don't want to just be casual with him. I love him but I'm not feeling the same vibes from him anymore. |

Question: Help me guys. I'm dying? Posted: 21 Aug 2018 05:09 PM PDT Hi guys. So I just started college this week and I have been going to the tutoring room a lot. During my study time, there's this girl who's asian who is a tutor for asian history culture class. For some reason, I can't stop looking at her. She is such a huge distraction in my studies. I know I don't have a crush on this girl, or any kind of attraction to her, but idk why my heart pounds every time, she walks into the door. I'm not attracted to her, but I can't take my eyes off of her. Plus, it's useless since, I'm black and black guys don't like asian girls. Idk what's going on with me. One time, i walked into the room, spiled my water bottle on myself all because i looked at her knowing i wasnt paying attention. What is happening to me? Why am I'm looking at her so much? Is this cute or what? |
Question: She suddenly texts after 2 months - ask her out? Posted: 21 Aug 2018 05:04 PM PDT Met this girl back in January. We really clicked but she was hot and cold, mixed messages, hard to read, etc. She disappeared without explanation for a few weeks in March-April. Crawled back again and we danced around the idea of a relationship until she disappeared again in early June. Returned a call but never several texts so I quit reaching out. Last Monday she texts out of the blue. Sent a link to someplace interesting like we used to do. We exchanged maybe a dozen playful texts. Five days passed and I text her last night, sent something similar, her response was about 3 texts long which I took as a good sign. Don't know why she texted again after 2 months - but should I see if she'll agree to meet up and find out, or hold back and wait for an invite? |

Question: I was called ‘special’? Posted: 21 Aug 2018 02:42 PM PDT So today, the teacher told us to choose partners. I was sitting with 4 other people. Because of the odd number, all fourpaired up except for me. I was literally the only person in the entire class without a partner. Then the teacher went around and asked everyone to introduce their partners. I had nobody so it was awkward. Then some girl in the back whispers, "she's special", and I knew she was talking about me because I stood out so obviously. I know I'm not special, I'm just a lone wolf, and when people judge me because I prefer to keep to myself, it makes me upset. Anyway, I just wanted to vent and I hope somebody in a similar situation can read this and know they're not alone. |
Posted: 21 Aug 2018 02:41 PM PDT I just got a friend request from a dude who I had a former crush on. This was like 5 years ago, and we got introduced through a mutual friend who I am still friends with online. We briefly talked in high school and I had a crush on him but nothing ever happened, and I'm not sure why we stopped talking. (This was roughly 5 years ago). But I think it's super random that after that amount of time this is happening. Should I reach out and talk to him, is that strange? |

Question: Should I go drive to my ex boyfriend? Posted: 21 Aug 2018 02:16 PM PDT I know where he's at. don't judge. Trying to fight for this love and show him how I feel still. I know he's my ex bf but there are many exes who end up getting back together, with some who don't. But it's worth a try right? What do I have to lose? Maybe he might be alone and might actually enjoy seeing me and me have driven 4 hours just to see and be with him. Should I go for it or wait and see what happens and just let things flow? Is it true that absence makes the heart grow fonder? if he's mine and misses me, he will come back to me? And if he doesn't then guess it's his loss? Thanks for the positive answers only! And thanks in advance! |

Question: Why was this guy so against me?!? Posted: 21 Aug 2018 02:07 PM PDT I met this guy, he was nice at first and then lost interest suddenly and continued to make my life hell thereafter! He ignored me, avoided me, turned mutual friends against me, wouldn't let anyone else date me, and slept with my friend! but why? why go through so much effort to throw hate? I tried to reach out, but he has no remorse nor cares, I was wondering if was cause I didn't sleep with him that 1 night as I wasn't ready. Or does he have a vendetta for no reason?? |
Question: He said I was beautiful then stood me up on a date? Posted: 21 Aug 2018 02:05 PM PDT He had asked me out 9 times when I agreed to finally trust him and go out with him on a date he stood me up. I've had a lot of heartbreak and find it hard to trust guys when they say they like me etc. We've been talking for 8 months & he said to me 'you are very VERY beautiful I'm being serious let me take you out' but I got all dressed up and he never turned out... later on that night he said 'please can we sort things out' I haven't heard from him since. Why would he behave like that?? |
Posted: 21 Aug 2018 01:53 PM PDT I was with my ex for 6 years and we have three children together. I have been unhappy for 3 years so I finally decide to break it off. Now I am in a situation where I can not move out as soon as I would like so we have been trying to co-parent in the same household. He still trys and begs me to be with him everyday, but I do not want to work things out with him. We have tried for 3 years. Counseling, talking with others, you name it. He has not changed, but the moment I break it off he wants to do all these things I've asked for him to change now. It's a little too late I'm just done. |
Question: He joked about moving with me? Posted: 21 Aug 2018 01:39 PM PDT A guy friend asked me about my graduate plans and I told him that wanted to go to Texas after graduating college and he teased me how he's going to Texas and stay with me. My other guy friend came around and they begin to started talking for a bit, but when he asked him that if he was talking to "someone" or seeing ex-girlfriends, I quickly walked away to go do something before class started and he immediately asked where I was going, while smiling at me and I told him I will be back. He was also staring at me while I was talking to my other guy friend. |
Posted: 21 Aug 2018 01:38 PM PDT Okay, so theres a guy, that I've been talking too for a couple of months. We started of as just good friends, but as the messages progressed he started to call me "beautiful" and tell me how I dont release how attractive I am. He then started to tell me how much he misses we when I'm not there, and how we should meet up. He messaged me everyday, like a "good morning beautiful" text, then use to call me a cutie or complement my smile or something during the day Then one night he told me how there was something about me that he was attracted too. Obviously I've had a massive crush on him for a pretty long time now, so I was all like, yeah I feel the same about you. But then we didn't talk about it further. Until a couple of days ago when I asked him, what he wanted. he told me how the messages meant nothing, and how he didn't want anything in particular. And that really hurt. But he rang me that night, and then again the night after, and we spoke like normal. But then this week, he hasn't messaged me at all. Now he's quite a bit older then me, but nothing illegal or anything, people would just think its strange, what should I do? Whats he doing, I'm so confused |

Question: How to tell him how I feel when I’ve known him for a long time? Posted: 21 Aug 2018 01:23 PM PDT I'm 22, and I've known this guy since the 1st grade. He was my first friend, and once he moved away, we were both crushed. Social media came about and I was 17 when I found him on Facebook. We hung out a lot and dated for a while. But the drive was an hr away and distance got in between us because he lost his car. It's been about 4 years now, and he's still been trying to get a car. He's gone through a lot, his mother found out that she had a really bad illness. So he's been taking care of his family. Long story short. We've always been off and on with each other. And I feel so strongly about him, that it's really hard to think that he doesn't. I need help on how to approach him about this. I feel like if I don't say anything, I'll regret it. Any thoughts? |
Question: Is it legal to hire someone to beat up my ex-boyfriend? Posted: 21 Aug 2018 01:23 PM PDT He cheated on me twice with my so-called best friend and has taken everything as a joke. I would do the dirty job myself, but I know I m not strong enough to fight him. However, I do want him to know who he messed with. I'll sacrifice myself and make sure he never hurts anyone ever again. |
Question: Why do middle aged men stare and flirt? Posted: 21 Aug 2018 01:19 PM PDT I am only 30 and only once in a great while will a young guy compliment me or even look. I get these middle aged not aesthetically pleasing men glaring at me, going out of their way to flirt, when I don't flirt back some get mad. Why am I attracting old unattractive men? I feel insulted I mean 55 plus not 35 plus when I say middle aged |
