Posted: 25 Aug 2018 01:09 PM PDT She tells them things like if I love them I would see them as often as my grandson (My other sons child who lives next door to me). |
Posted: 25 Aug 2018 12:39 PM PDT These young girls are 11-13 year olds and she still prefers them. It's probably a maturity thing, but these are preteen middle schoolers. She will be a junior in high school next week! My daughter has more in common with middle schoolers than with other high schoolers. She'll be facing adulthood in two years and won't be dealing with the same issues as them. Should I discourage the friendships and slowly steer her away from them (aka getting her to move on to mature interests)?? |

Posted: 25 Aug 2018 05:01 AM PDT She also uses her two children as ways of getting back at the 3 relatives she hates and so the kids are banned from these events by their mother. I have never seen an adult do this, is this childish or normal in families? Is using the kids right? |

Question: How to get my Grandma to stop watching the news all day? Posted: 24 Aug 2018 07:49 PM PDT Okay, so here s the deal. I have lived with my Grandmother for over ten years now. I m an adult, but she and my aunt are giving me somewhere to stay while I finish college. I love my grandma dearly, but my family and I are very worried about her news watching habits. She watches CNN non-stop. That isn t even a joke. This all started when Donald Trump started running for office. She hates that he s president and never stops thinking or worrying about it. She sits on the couch from morning to evening watching CNN. If she has to go somewhere, she will pull over if she gets a news notification on her phone JUST to read it. Everything revolves around how awful she thinks Trump is. There isn t a single conversation with her that doesn t involve Trump somehow. I know this all sounds silly, but she s obsessed and I m really worried about her. This isn t healthy for her. For the record, I have tried to talk with her about it. Unfortunately she s very stubborn and doesn t take confrontation very well. If the conversation isn t going her way, she either yells or shuts down. Please. I love her so much and I just want to help her. Thanks, -Concerned Granddaughter |

Question: My dad id trying to wrestle/fight me? Posted: 24 Aug 2018 07:11 PM PDT Okay im not a timid person i stand up for myself and i back down from people even if i might lose but the only thing is when my family makes me angry and stuff i don't like go to fighting i use my brains and fight with my words or i just try to laugh it off which is why is seems like i have a care free attitude (my family members aren't bad people it just that can sometimes take things too far cause all the boys wrestled which is kinda explains why they are more aggressive)but sometimes i can only so much so i storm out with anger and since its family i don't try and go to fighting i just cry from frustration My dad thinks im like weak or something i dont know or he either trying to show that hes still big and strong so he comes to me calling me a punk or pushing my head or hitting me sometimes i give in and fight back and i win and when i stop he cheap shots me and quits leaving me even more angry. so we talked and he tried to explained himself by saying that he does this because my brother stood up to him and fought him back. but that doesn't make since cause as stated early i've caved in and fought with him an won so he changes it back and fourth to that and to that he is trying to prepare me for the real world and that the real world doesn't care about me but the real reason i don't fight is because hes my father and i was rised to respect yourelders/mother/father so i just turn the cheek and walk away which i guess make him think im a lesser man or something IDK |
Question: Am I justified in hating my dad? Posted: 24 Aug 2018 06:12 PM PDT Everyone thinks he's so ideal but that's because he projects his own image and make sure everything fits his agenda and nobody else's. He beats up my mom, has a short temper (enough to flip a plate over the dinner table because the meal wasn't hot enough), when I tried some family friends how bad the situation was with my dad cheating on my mom and making HER feel guilty about it, my dad called them back and told them I was brainwashed and somehow talked me into taking back what I said. I hate myself for being so easily manipulated. me and the rest of my family are not allowed to do anything unless it benefits him and his reputation. ON TOP OF THAT we're apart of this cult thing that he's president of. And since he's president (this cult practices endogamy, you get kicked out and shamed for marrying out of the cult) he's told me he would never show up to my wedding or ever support me marrying someone I've loved for years. Everyone else outside my family claims we should all be grateful and love him becaus he makes money for us and works hard and what not. I swear he'll do anything to protect himself, even if that means dissing his family. |
Question: Friend’s dad a drug dealer? Posted: 24 Aug 2018 05:04 PM PDT so me and my best friend were vacuuming her dads bathroom when she accidentally hit a shelf and a box came down and spilled. in the box were a bottle of oxycodone (with his name and all the other info torn off the label, all except 'oxycodone') and hydrocodone with the same label deal as the oxys. along with that was about $375 cash in 5s,20s,&50s all folded up. is he a drug dealer or is he on drugs? |
Posted: 24 Aug 2018 04:55 PM PDT My younger sister and I are young adults and she and I have always been close, like best friends. Several years ago, I started noticing how they tended to favor her over me. They would do things for her that they wouldn't do for me. Recently, we threw our parents an anniversary party and both of us put in time and money to make it nice for them. I found out accidentally that they gave her a gift card to a restaurant to pay her back a little for the expense she put into the party. And it hurt my feelings because they didn't do anything for me. Am I being childish? |
Question: My sister is a bully. Why might it be my Dad still does things with her? Posted: 24 Aug 2018 04:42 PM PDT She is a demanding, narcissistic, bully at age 23. |
Posted: 24 Aug 2018 04:40 PM PDT Might she have a malicious ulterior motive? I have this woman on Facebook is why she messaged me, her siblings have renounced her and blocked her for her narcissistic ways. |
Question: Woman trying to keep me away from my mother? Posted: 24 Aug 2018 03:45 PM PDT First of all I'm 22 years old, I live in a group home and sometimes I go and visit my mom with my 4.5 month old son. The woman I live with has insulted my mother and everything she's done for me and the baby. She tries to prevent me from seeing her although my mom hasn't done anything wrong! She doesn't even know my mother, they've only met a few times and hardly spoke. I'm kind of scared what will happen. |

Question: Do I have an infection? Posted: 24 Aug 2018 03:23 PM PDT Warning this may be disgusting. So I'm staying at a motel 6 in a not so great area so it's kinda filthy. Anyways the water in the toilet is pretty high, when I was taking a poop a lot of water splashed up to my Anus and the region around there. I wiped and I didn't think anything of it. A few hours later my butthole started to burn and become very itchy and that's the first I've ever had this problem. I started scratching so much to the point that I'm starting to scratch threw the skin. Is there a cream I can apply or something? And should I be worried |
Question: I embarrassed myself at school what should I do? Posted: 24 Aug 2018 02:44 PM PDT Okay so I have a music class at school and today some girl asked me "do you play the drums?" and I thought she said "can I have some gum?" I told her "I don't have any gum, but I do have mints." she looked at me weird and said "umm okay?" and then she said " I said do you play the drums?" at that point my heart was beating fast and I turned red and I was all shaky, I don't want to go back on Monday and I might even want to drop that class because i'm so embarrassed now she thinks i'm weird. What should I do? |
