I just moved to a new school Junior year and made some new friends. One of them said I could go to her house after school and then we'd go to the football game together on Friday. My parents said I couldn't go until they meet her and her parents. My mom said she would just take me over the girls house but the point of me going over there was to get ready with them. Not come home, get ready at home, spend an hour driving to her house, then go to the game. I feel so lame telling her I can't come over until later after my mom get's off work or whatever and meets her parents. Plus, my parents always complain about taking me places because I can't drive. But they wouldn't let me get my permit until I kept my room clean so I have to wait until senior year to get my license. I feel like I won't ever be able to have the regular high school experience because I can't drive, can't go to "real" high school parties, and can't go over my friends house until my parents approve of them. How can I get them to give me more freedom?

There's nothing to get up for, they tell me I should get up at 7AM. But what for?

The girls look and dress alike. They hang out in their front yard together, often not talking much. My daughter will cry, scream and run away from them. She thinks they're scary and creepy. They don't even say a word to her, but she overreacts when seeing them. I've tried to ask her why she's scared of them, but she doesn't know or cannot make out the proper words.

I'm hallucinating, along with other unpleasant symptoms. I know I have to talk to someone; its getting too much. I can't do it online though, because my parents have my card linked up to their email, so that would be a really bad way for them to find out, so I need to do it with my parent permission either way. I want to tell my dad, he's very understanding and deals with things in a.... less dramatic way then my mum. But I know it would really upset him, and plus I'm just generally anxious. I wish I was brave enough to tell him, but I'm not, so I would really appreciate some advice. Thank you so much!

When having two sons and a daughter, what do you think is better? The daughter being the oldest, the daughter being the middle, or the daughter being the youngest?

So my boyfriend and I just recently had a little girl and his side of the family is really beginning to agitate me; his sister in particular. She feels entitled to be our daughter's Godmother and is really pressing the issue. She makes comments all the time how she's the "third parent" and how much the baby looks like her, etc. I get that everyone is excited about the baby at the moment, but she has felt very entitled this whole pregnancy and has crossed the line way too many times. For instance, she had no problem expressing her dislike towards the fact that we didn't have a baby shower and brought it up on multiple occasions. I decided not to have one because I don't have much family where we currently live and it would have been uncomfortable for me; plus baby showers were originally intended for mother's and babies to my understanding. She tries to be too involved in our relationship by saying things like, "if you leave my brother, I'll have to fight you, etc. etc." that's absolutely none of her business. Also, we were originally going to give our baby her name as a middle name, but that was early on in my pregnancy and we still had a lot of time to change our mind (which is what eventually ended up happening). I can tell that she is spiteful but always says, "I mean I'm not mad but..." I say all of this to say, am I over reacting? Should we make her our daughters godmother even if I am not that fond of her?

I m 15 and I m literally not allowed to do anything. I m not allowed to hang out afterschool, and only on weekends, but then on weekends my mom fills up my schedule. I m forced to take tutoring, foreign language classes, yoga, piano, and swimming on the weekends. I ve been balancing this schedule since I was in second grade and it s really tiring. Now that I m older, I still always have to explain to my friends why I can t have sleepovers or can t hang out. help! edit: I know my mom does this because she loves me and cares about me and she wants the best for me but sometimes its really frustrating!!

I'm 19 female I was homeschooled all my life and my parents don't allow me to go anywhere.I can't get a job or anything so I fully rely on them and I stay at home all the time unless my mom wants to take me somewhere. I literally feel like I'm going insane I'm getting so old and I want to do so much in life but I can't, i have no idea what it's actually like to live a normal life and I really want to and I don't know where to start. I've never had a job and I don't have a car I want to move out but I don't have any friends family or relatives.I'm just really desperate but it seems like the only option is to be homeless a lot of people say I should be happy I don't have any responsibilities but I'm restricted so much I can't have friends or a boyfriend.

Most of my siblings are drug addicts and my parents are getting older. They have some money and a nice house and a will. And good life insurance. After they both pass in the future could a greedy sibling change the will? Or take money out the estate without anyone looking? Or is the Will legally set in stone? I want it divided equally amongst my siblings but most of them are greedy insane people...

my house is messy, its too hot to do anything, theres too many bugs outside, and inside german roaches, my toxic parent keeps cursing me and demanding I come back home plz help. i got no motivation. my girlfriend is fat. my truck broke down. i live in the boonies abd cant walk to town.

It is a lot to explain bit she used to hit me, scream at me for no reason, destroy my things, tbreaten me, say horrible things to me because she has issues with my father who divorced her. Yet she said she will not help me with money, and said mean things,about my girlfeiend and to me too, and bad mouthed my dad. I honestly do not ever want to see my mom again and she is so clingy and makes me feel very bad about myself, and insecure. She is too defensive to talk to also and causes me bad luck a lot.

I have teied being n8ce, angry, mean, cold shoukder. They wont leave me alone calling ne 3 times a day abd left a messege saying they will stop by unanounced if I dont call them back. They do mot acknowledge any of the abuse they did to me that made me move out. Its really disrupting my life and causing me dwpression and anxiety they dont back off. they cause me so mucj drana too that hearing their voice on the phone messes up my equilibrium. I feel like I need to move and not give my address. I dont even want to talk on the phone. I live with my girlfriend for two years now and dont even want to visit for christmas or for ten years and its only now occured to them they lost me a long time ago. They still keep comming after me because they dont have a,life, but I do now

This sister is a really horrible person.

My parents are enotionally abusive. They control every aspect of my life and they meddle in my relatonships. They say I am not allowed to go to a university out of state and that I am not allowed to go anywhere outside of my home within a 5 mile radius. They force me to turn on my location everywhere I go and if it even twinges a little bit, they call me on the phone and scream at me and threaten to call the police if I don't fix it. It is overwhelming, and yes, I am aware that they sound insane. They treat me like a baby at times and I often show them that I am not a baby, especially through my responsiblities throughout the house (chores). I have a boyfriend who is very supportive, but I often feel bad for the pressure my parents put onto him (they are perfectionists). I am afraid of what my parents are capable of, I really want to leave home and start a new life, but I am not sure how I will deal with school after leaving. I am of age to leave, by the way.

Who do these b****s think they are??? It takes TWO people to make a baby and it takes TWO people to raise it! Why does mom seem to think she gets to make all the decisions in the family? Who the hell is she to tell a man he can't see his own kids just because she's mad at him? He's their father! He has a right to spend time with his own kids! She has no say in the matter! And who is she to keep the kids from seeing their father? Why does she get to decide that? If those kids want to see their daddy, that's none of mommy's business! You don't keep kids from seeing their father just because you're an evil jerk who wants to punish your kids' father! I hope he goes to court and wins full custody.

My mom is pregnant at 52 years old, she is 12 weeks pregnant so I think she can still get one. I just feel like she is too old now, I am 28 years old, my brother is 31, and my younger sister is 21. So we are all around the same age, we are already all adults and now there is a new BABY coming. By the time he/she is 10 my mom will be 62, that's crazy. Should I tell her to get an abortion? I just don't think its fair that she is having another one at an old age and she wants it, she's all excited.

She has been staying with me on and off over the years , she never gets stable enough to take care of her self but I can afford her , I'm a young woman trying to build a career and a relationship... this time around it was just supposed to be a month or two and it's been since Easter day . She doesn't pay Bill's or rent, smokes my weed eats my food , uses my washer and dryer and leaves the place a mess. I know she loves me but I cant live with her .

I'm fifteen and my mother left my abusive Dad but for years she did nothing. My sister and my brother suffered for years and she didn't even tell us when we were leaving. She said we were going on vacation that was a lie. I can't stop being angry at her she is a coward she knew what my Dad was doing for years he abused me, my sister, and brother and even my mother in every way imaginable and she left only when she found out she was pregnant. I hate her and a part of me feels angry at the child she's carrying because this child is what made her want to leave him. This child is why she left she didn't leave for me, my sister, or my brother. I can't stop being angry at her. We are in therapy and I know logically it doesn't make sense but I just I hate her so much because she denied there was a problem and stood by him for years and now she leaves him? I feel like this child means more to her than me and I hate both of them for it. I know it doesn't make sense but that's how I feel and I can't talk about it because I know people will think I'm horrible but I really hate her and her baby. Also her leaving now doesn't change the years of hell Dad put me and my siblings through. I just hate being angry but I can't stop being angry. She apologizes tries making an amends but we're dirt poor now and I keep thinking that I had three years till I was in college and away from Dad. Now I'm cut off because Dad wants to punish Mom by hurting me and my siblings. I just feel lost.

Is son is 24 and is overly comfortable and open around me. He will literally walk around the house naked. It's like it amuses him to the point here he's aroused by it and it's not something I particularly enjoy as a mother. What's the deal here with him? Anyone?

so my sister's and I was planning a trip for a weekend getaway to bond ( sister trip) it's 3 of us total. I'm off on the weekends and 1 other sister can take off easiest on the weekend the other sister will be a little bit harder to get off. we told her to pick the weekend she can get off and we would plan around it. This was in july when we start trying to plan but we needed weekend so we can pick a place. She finally put in to be off the first 2 weeks in October. Me and the other sister find out on FB that she planning to go to Miami then with some friends. I feel like she just slap us in the face cuz we been trying to put something together for months and she was slow poking around and then when she did it's with other people and didn't say nothing to us about it. so was she been shading or i'm over thinking it.

my grandfather has been verbally abusing me since 3 years ago,and he's getting worse. if i don't get him something,he'll put me down by saying i'll never get a job or become a doctor. i am 21,i lost my mom a month ago,and she was abused by him too,and he's 86. what to do?

Whenever one of my family members accomplishes or creates something, I show enthusiasm and encouragement. Doesn't matter if it is my wife telling me about how her boss liked her classroom and tweeted about it, or if it is my son talking about getting a victory royale on Fortnite or passing a test. I always show support. However, when I show them something I am proud of, I get "Oh, cool." as a response, and then they walk away. It's gotten to the point that I have just decided to stop sharing things I am proud of with them. How would you feel about this situation, and what would you do about it?

I'm 16 and a girl and don't mind my mom seeing me completely naked. I also don't mind my dad or brother seeing me in bra and panties, although I'm not comfortable being naked in front of them.
