I babysit for a group of 6-9 kids, the number varies week to week, and one child has been very angry at me ever since he kicked another child repeatedly, and I put him in time out and told his mother. That was two months ago. Ever since, he's been talking to the other kids and saying untrue and very negative things about me (drama queen, evil, hates him, etc). The kids love me and (thankfully) don't believe his lies. However today, some of the girls were blasting Jojo Siwa and he was plugging his ears. So, to try to build a bridge, I told him that I think Jojo Siwa is annoying too. He ran straight over to the girls and said "[my name] said that she thinks [girl 1's name who was sitting there] is annoying". The girls didn't believe him and I explained to them that I said that about Jojo Siwa and that it was okay for them to like her, as we had different tastes in music. I told the child that spreading rumors and hurtful gossip is unkind, but he didn't care. Now I'm worried that he'll tell his parents that I said I don't like [girl 1], and though I don't think they'll believe him, I'm still worried. And if they believe him, they'd tell [girl 1's] mother, who is a very good customer and hires me outside of the group and I adore her kids. How do I keep this kid from ruining my job, my reputation, and get him to understand that what he's doing is wrong?

You know, the types that have to make everything an intense competition or joke (a little too much) at your expense? Say for example: You make a silly mistake and they keep joking about it instead of just dropping it. Or, they randomly start comparing your physical features to theirs. Also bonus question: Do you think someone who is insecure is more likely to act like this with someone they think is prettier / smarter / more social than them?

My friend Candice was abandoned by her boyfriend earlier this year. She currently lives in a hotel room, paying $350 a week with her roommate Keisha (and her 2 children). They actually do not have that much money. I recently helped them out by donating towards another week. They have to get out of the hotel. They are miserable there. Keisha's car won't start, and Candice has been driving her roommate everywhere (mainly to work and back). We think it might be the alternator, but I am not certain exactly. If Keisha's car can get fixed, that will be a big step closer for the both of them. But again, they do not have much money. I feel I should step in and help. They have been looking at places to stay, but nothing good has come to them yet. I feel if I can at least help with the car situation, things could be better. Maybe call a tow truck and bring it to a garage somewhere. I do not know what else to do for them. I do not want to abandon them, and they would have to live on the streets. Candice is special to me. I do not want to lose her. Please, any help or advice will be great!

I don't really have a life to make things simple. I'm not going to make this a long depressing tangent because well, I'm not depressed, just lonely. I only have one good friend but she spends most of her time with her "best friend" so I don't see her often. My mom and I barely get along and I don't get out much because I don't have a car. What do I do?

Opinions on why my friend is ghosting me? Hey guys- just need a quick opinion. So me and my 2 other best friends invited our other good friend (Lindsey) on a trip to New York (My friends mom offered to pay for all of our hotel/travel expenses due to it being my friends graduation trip) - Lindsey is a year behind us at school and started college a week ago so we gave her time to get situated and she said she would get back to us if she could even attend the trip due to her schedule. She told us she would let us know on Monday after her class- so Monday we were waiting and wanted to book the hotel no later than Tuesday due to it already being a last minute trip. We texted her in our group chat and she never responded.. so we kept waiting and eventually texted again with no response.. No response the next day yet she viewed our snapchat story, I finally decided to message her on snapchat saying that we would be booking the hotel soon and wanted to know if she could go on the trip, and she opens it with no reply. I do not know why she is ghosting us? We went on a small road trip about a month ago and had a great time together and I cannot think of any existing drama between her or my other friends who are also very close friends with her. I find it really odd and am not sure what to do. (sorry for any bad grammar I am typing on my phone) ​

I have this friend and he thinks that he is more good-looking than everyone around him. He calls all of his "friends" ugly. He also thinks that he is smarter than everyone, meanwhile he is basically failing every class in school and he is 21 years old get disability welfare and he doesn't work.He tries lying about his grades. He also always needs to be in the center of attention, I really dislike him and so do all of his other friends. He judges all my other friends and people about them looking ugly he also Called me ugly and is hurtful since I'm a Asian guy he is like Mexican. He never said any guys handsome he judge people sayin how does that guy get a pretty girlfriend his ugly is not suitable for him to have a gf. He also say that I'm too ugly to be dating girls.

Is there anything you like for me to improve on and for me to be a better friend for others? I feel people telling me the things I need to improve on would really help me better myself and for me to know myself more from another person's perspective, if I feel something is wrong I want to know what happened so I can change for the better. I became friends with someone who turned out to be a total jerk with anger issues and me having to go through that is inspiring me to become a better person and a better friend for everyone else. While I feel hurt and betrayed over the kind of person he turned out to be I feel like it's giving me an opportunity to do more for my friends and to be the best friend I can be. Most of my classmates have turned their backs on me sometime after high school.

So basically I just came back from rehab after 8 months, before I went I had a big group of friends. Well I came back and they are now fake as **** (or I'm starting to realize they are), they really don't give a **** about me at all. So I'm here left with no friends and my life is boring as hell. I tried to keep them for a while but they just don't really care about me anymore. I wish I didn't give a **** about what people thought or said so I could be happy with myself but I just feel so lonely and awkward without friends to walk with or talk with. I'm very anti social, like bad anxiety. And I hate my life. Any advice?

Let's say if someone who was bullied at school or is an outcast at school and dies why would the people who bullied him or her give speeches about how they will miss them or how they were good friends or best friends. Because I remember that their was one kid who committed suicide at my school due to constant bullying on his Facebook page the people who were very mean to him wrote about how he was their best friend or how they will have good memories of him. Can someone explain to me why are people like this.

How can you tell if a Christian man is interested in you in more than just a friendly way? I know Christians are pretty much like other men... but I'm just saying I know they wouldn't behave like "traditional" guys when it comes to being interested in someone. There is a Christian man in my life who I consider a good friend. I think he might like me a little, but I'm not sure. I know for a fact he considers me a good friend. Usually, if he knows you/considers you a friend, he will hug you (especially if you're a female) and say hi. Sometimes, he just goes over and says hi but doesn't really get too physical. With me, whenever he sees me, he always gives me at least one big hug (usually he gives me one when we first notice each other then again to say bye). His hugs are usually pretty tight and he's went in for a 3rd hug before. It also isn't uncommon for him to rub or pat my back while he hugs me. When I seen him recently, we were at a local annual event. He immediately came up to me, said hello and gave me a big hug and said it was great to see me again. Throughout the evening, I would catch him glancing over in my direction, smiling. When it was time to leave, he gave me 2 more hugs, thanked me for hanging out with him and invited me and my family to come to a local church's event with him and his family. His parents always smile and wave to me or my parents when they see us somewhere. Does it seem like he may like me more or is it just friendly? I'm asking because it's hard to tell with a situation like this. I mean as a strong Christian, he is naturally extremely polite and friendly. His whole family is that way. They're all very nice people. With the physical affection aspect, I don't know how to judge the difference with someone like this. I don't think he gives other people quite as many hugs as he does me, but then again, I don't exactly spy on him either. So would you say he might have a crush on me? How can I tell?

Even my family. I try being nice to them and they say mean or annoying things. But this didn't happen all my life.

Yeah so this is a really weird one but I actually have no idea how to address this IRL. My best friend is planning on moving in with me in about a month, which I'm super excited for. However literally every time he goes to pee he puts the toilet seat all the way up and pisses all over it, sometimes inclusive of the floor. I have no godly idea how to talk to him about this in real life without making him feel insecure or making it really awkward for me, so uh, here i am. Got anything for me?
