Question: I’m confused, what should I do? Posted: 24 Aug 2018 02:50 PM PDT Me and my boyfriend have been dating for 4 years. We're borh 21. He doesn't work right now and I work a full time job (7AM-4PM) 5 days a week. I just don't know what to do anymore. On my days off I just want to relax, stay in, watch Tv and stay away from people (my job at least has 1,000 people everyday coming through).. but he wants to go out to the bar or to the beach or drive an hour away and go on adventures. That's fine with me.. we went on a trip 2 weeks ago to Charleston, we went camping a couple days ago, we went to the bar and had a good time a couple days ago and he's acting like that never happened. My job just opened up their new place this past weekend so it was a lot on me and for the past 3 days all I've been wanting to do is hangout and he keeps dragging me out.. we got into a big fight and I wanted to go out today but I came down with a damn cold so yeah. Every time we stay inside he says "omg I feel like I'm going crazy blah blah blah" "we never do anything blah blah blah" I even said I was going to make brownies to do something cute together while we were sick and he told me the oven doesn't work and he doesn't trust that I can make them (which I can who tf can't) so I decided not to and 20 mins later he says "why didn't you make brownies like you said" like are you serious? Am I being a boring, stay inside girlfriend all the time or does it sound like I'm keeping it balanced... he's really annoying me at this point. |
Question: Why i am not missing someone? Posted: 24 Aug 2018 11:59 AM PDT almost four years since i left my home country for work but I still didn't feel any home sickness or even missing my family or friends. |

Question: Question about Roommate's autism? Posted: 24 Aug 2018 01:27 AM PDT I was wondering if our roommate needs help that we cannot give him? My husband believes his cousin, whom he loves dearly, belongs under his care. He is 26 years old and frequently goes long periods unemployed. He had a job while living with us for 1 year almost, but quit with no job lined up so has been unemployed for a few months now. My husband says he was diagnosed as mildly autistic only one year ago. Well I believe he needs help we cannot give him as we already have three very young children so supporting him is stressful. He also has a misdemeanor and kept in touch with father who beat him and raped his sister repeatedly in front of him. He then willingly moved in with this awful father at 22 years of age. Who just beat him up again. Well I'm not comfortable with him being around our children for this reason, that he moved in with this horrible father at 22 years of age. Now he complains to my husband that he is lonely and wants to be able to interact with the children , instead of me watching them like a hawk. He hasn't had a in years, and if he can't find a job then he should get some help or something. But am I being insensitive to him being mildly autistic, like my husband defensively tells me? Or are my concerns legitimate? |
Question: If a guy hits you once will he hit you again? Posted: 23 Aug 2018 09:24 PM PDT Me and my daughters dad have been together for about 5 years. (we got together when I was 15 he was 18) Throughout the years he's developed a drinking problem & has cheated on me. Over the last 6 months or so he hasn't been cheating and has been taking care of us. We were going to move in together in 2 weeks. A week and a half ago he came to my house drunk & fell asleep while I was in the shower. I started going through his phone and saw he was talking to a female coworker that he's tried to mess with in the past. I couldn't see the messages on snapchat and don't know what they were about. I got upset & started pulling him to wake up & smacking him on his arms and chest. He then got up & started strangling me multiple times (sitting on top of me, both hands). He threw me against stuff & my head got cut open from hitting my daughters toy box as well as my blood vessels getting popped all throughout my neck & under my eye. He hit me once but not with a closed fist. I'm 93 pounds 4'11 & he' 5'8. I begged him to leave or I would call my mom. he wouldnt, her & her boyfriend came & made him leave. The police weren't called. He claims he blacked out and won't drink again. He's also told his mom, sister, and best friend what he did. I've hit him in the past when finding out he cheated & he's never hit me back. (I know it isn't right) My mom has always told me if a man hits you once he'll do it again. Thoughts? Does it make a difference that I provoked him? |
