I have been with a guy for a week and a half, however I have liked him for an extremely long time... everybody knows this... him and I have been talking for about 3 or 4 weeks now. Everybody in my family except my dad, my grandma and my grandpa have been downgrading me and him being together. Example my cousin said i was dumb for being with a redneck because 2 rednecks can not be together, then my uncle said I would be the only smart one on his side of the family because of his last name... it makes me mad because I care about him.. and my friend from another country said he understands where I am coming from, but my friend who is supposed to be my "best friend" kept joking about him calling him ugly and she has not even seen him or met him. How can I stop this? How can I make my family and so called friends stop being 2 faced???

I dated this girl for 4 months, and even after we broke up we stayed as friends. But tomorrow shes leaving because shes moving away for school. First of all this definitely isn't the first time my friend pissed someone off or started something like this which lead to a potential fight. I was at chipotle with my school friend just to visit his other friend who works there, she was making a cheese quesadilla for a early 20s year old guy and he was like "a quesadilla with only cheese?!?" in a confused and disbelief manner. He was saying that to his friend and not the guy who ordered it but that guy was like "uhhh yes that's all i'm getting and second, it's my food!" and my friend said "well what the f--k a quesadilla with only cheese?!?" finally that guy stands over my with a fist and says "HEY DIPS--T WHY DON'T YOU SHUT UP BEFORE I MAKE YOU!" just before I got in between them and guided my friend away from him, he looked semi tough and was a foot taller than my friend. My friend I went with knows how to fight but that guy he was giving a hard time had such a size advantage that it was totally an unsure situation. When that guy called us dips__ts, did that mean anything different than a weirdo or idiot, something along those lines? Well technically he called my friend a dips__t but I was with him so I feel what he did kinda rubbed off on me.

There is a quiet girl at my school that never really talks. She talks if you talk to her. But still not much. She stands by the short buses which makes me think she's in special ed, but she rides a car... 🤔 I asked her and she acted like she couldn't hear me. There we talked a little and she would ask me questions about the score, stats, etc. I don't believe I showed or had intentions, at the time, of getting to know this girl more after the game. She had to leave early so we said bye and was nice to meet you. Fast forward today: While I was driving my coworker around she asked me if I remembered the baseball game and I said yes. Then she asked me if I remembered sitting next to her niece and I said yes. Her last question was " Do you have any interest in her?". I thought about it and said yes because of a few reasons. My coworker said ok and we had moved onto another conversation by then. What would be the reason my coworker would ask me if I was interested in her niece? I hadn't brought up the game or her niece since a month ago. Thanks for any input!

I have a dilemma. IM going to a BTS concert in October, but I dont know who to sign with me. Im 15, I dont want to bring my mom and she doesn't want to go. I can't bring my best friend (hates BTS, thinks Im weird fo liking them, says terrible things about them). My other friend likes them, but Im going for tickets in the pit and she's very sensitive (going to the bathroom every 5 minutes, can't handle pushing and shoving). I wear a bit of perfume to work. Not too much, but 2 dabs on my wrist and 2 dabs under my ears. I usually choose from 3-4 different perfumes, so it is not just one perfume he has a problem with. People have always complimented my subtle smelling classic perfumes. Now this guy says he doesn't like my perfumes and I have to do something about it. The thing is, he does not have a medical condition or allergy to perfumes. And he himself wears ridiculous perfumes he 'created himself'. So it is just a matter of his taste. I do not want to change my hygienic and aesthetic habits for him. He has already made so many demands which I have complied to (E.g.: he does not like the smell of eggs or tuna, so I stopped having them at work; even though I cannot eat most other things in the canteen due to me being a pescaterian.) But the perfume matter is something which is private and personal and all my other officemates swear they have no problems with it. But apparently he cannot concentrate because of my perfume-choices and his productivity is suffering. How do I deal with this person? As of now, I told him that I am not going to change my habits and we can try and switch offices with others, either me or him. He was not happy that I said that. He tries to boss other people too. Our friendship is unhealthy at best. I'd go into great detail, but it would be way to long to explain. So we have been friends for four years, two of those years were spent in an on and off relationship. We had some nasty fights within this time. He started dating this girl, and I'm head over heals for another guy. Despite all of this, we almost had sex and it took that to realize that our relationship isn't good. My mom and I have been having an argument over 2 weeks now and I wanted to ask you internet folks for your opinion. Dont feel the need to side with me just because I am the person writing this post, please offer an honest opinion. So basically the argument centers around the idea of annoyance. I get annoyed by questions my mom asks me a lot (I am 19), that I find irrelevant. She told me not to get annoyed by her questions but I told her that being annoyed is not a choice, you can t just choose what you re annoyed at with a flip of a switch. Basically I am saying that you can t choose what you re annoyed by, but you can choose how you respond to it. For example if i get annoyed by my brother chewing with my mouth open i can either choose to scream at him and tell him to eat like a normal human being, or I can politely ask him to chew with his mouth closed. What my mom is saying is I can change what I am being annoyed by. Basically I can just choose to not be annoyed by my brother chewing with his mouth open. What do you guys think? I know some of you might find this argument to be petty (trust me I know), but I would greatly appreciate it if you could put some thought into it. My birthday is coming up soon and I really do not want this girl to come to my birthday dinner. I'm in this "friend group" and it's tradition when it's someone's birthday we go out to eat. I only go because the other people in the group are genuinely my friends and I like them.
