Question: Pros and cons of getting married in November vs getting married in December or February? Posted: 22 Aug 2018 10:09 PM PDT So me and my fiance are now thinking about wedding months. We decided to get married on the 15th because that's when we started going out and becoming a couple. At first we both wanted February 15 because that's when we started going out/becoming a couple but honestly don't know. December because December has always been a depressing/bad month for me, however his mom's birthday is legit on Christmas Eve and I don't want her birthday being overshadowed by our wedding like it already is with Christmas and etc. Now there's November and I would love to have roses as part of my bouquets because not only do I love roses, but they were the first flowers he ever gave to me. Summer months are out especially July because that's not only my birth month but his brother, nephew, and grandma. September is a definite no as well as spring and October because that's both his birth month as well as my mom's. I know this is stupid but we're trying to be considerate for our families so no one gets overshadowed and we're trying to not spend a whole bunch of money as well. Please no rude comments and thank you all for answering. |
Question: Did anyone have a wedding ceremony where the bride was not given away? Posted: 22 Aug 2018 05:56 AM PDT This was one of the reasons I chose a civil ceremony, as being 'given away' was not part of the ceremony then. (1979) |
