Posted: 11 Aug 2018 08:29 PM PDT and was lacking in so many ways? The future bride did not receive anything that she requested from her registry. Her shower had very little decor, had modest entertainment, and appeared to have limited party favors, etc. The future bride seemed to be extremely disappointed that her matron-of-honor could've provided her with a better shower, but didn't. While I do not know the bride, I do know that she is getting married in half a month. I was wondering if there is some sort of sweepstakes, or anything that would enable her to have a far better experience. Though I'm incapable of organizing an event, a bridal shower is supposed to have far better quality. Please do not be sarcastic. Yes, I know events normally call for more time, but no future bride deserves to have a shower that is that poor in quality. I do believe that something can be done when professionalism and money are at hand. If anyone can be of assistance, I do know the state the person lives in. Does anyone know of a sweepstakes, or anything that would provide her with a much better shower? Also, I know you have to book a hall, but people do cancel, and postpone all the time. |
Question: Friend is complaining about a free dress? Posted: 11 Aug 2018 06:39 AM PDT I asked my best friend to be one of my bridesmaids. She said she's happy to come to the wedding, but she doesn't want to be a bridesmaid because she wants to wear her own dress. She doesn't like the bridesmaid dresses. I said she has to wear it and she said that's why she doesn't want to be a bridesmaid. This escalated until she decided not to come to the wedding at all. Said I am a bad friend if I care more about a dress than her. I told her she's a bad friend if she thinks my wedding should be about her. I wasn't even having her pay for the dress! Why is she complaining? |
Question: First he got a woman pregnant and now wants to put the wedding on hold..? Posted: 09 Aug 2018 02:23 AM PDT I am up at 4am with so much on my mind. My fiance a man of whom I've actually been with on and off over a decade has now called off the wedding. He says not ready to get married. I don't know if it's because of this woman that he cheated with and got pregnant or if he is really just not wanting to marry me. I have put up with soo much from him over the years from the lieing and cheating to the pregnancy of this other woman. I know people are tired of my questions but this has been a nightmare and I think it's making me crazy. I am wondering if he's now putting me on hold to see if the baby is his to be with her. If he loved me and wanted show me you'd think hed make me his wife and stop all the cheating lies, I feel broken I'm depressed and I am on the verge of giving up on this. He did say he'd be in the babies life if it is his and again he cheated with this woman half a year. I found out from her not him. I feel like I'm waiting around to be hurt. Just want to hear really from someone who's been thru this and anyone who jist wants to advise me honestly. He hasnt reached out to the woman, he hasnt gone to any of her appointments or anything like that but again did say he'd be there if found to be the father and I feel like he's putting me on hold to see how this with her unfolds. We also have a kids together. I'm depressed and jist need honest advice. Thanks! |
