Posted: 10 Aug 2018 05:08 PM PDT how come when i make plans with one of my friends who i like she always wants another friend to come along. like i asked her to get ice cream with me she agreed then last minute she texts me saying shes bringing a mutual friend of ours. and the other day i invited her to go hiking and she said to see if our mutual friend is coming who is a girl by the way. we have only did something alone once which is go out to eat because our other friend cancelled last minute, is she not interested? or what. shes shown signs of interest like shes always down to hangout she told me she missed me when i didnt see her for awhile etc etc |
Posted: 10 Aug 2018 04:57 PM PDT lately my twin and I have been distancing more than ever -- and I feel like this is because she doesn't like to be around me, as if she doesn't like me -- because she won't ever play games with me, chat, walk to the cafe with me etc.. and when I asked her 'do you like to hang with me', she straight up said: 'not really, i mean your my twin so i will but you're not like my friend or anything' This wouldn't really be an issue but It's been making me feel kinda sad lately because I don't really have any friends,, my only long distance friend sorta ditched me to hang out with my twin and it makes me feel lonely, like maybe there's something wrong with me socially. Does anyone know how I could prevent us from distancing anymore, and get back to how we used to be (few arguments, close, relationship in which we enjoy each others company? * I keep bringing this issue up with her but the message just doesn't seem to go through, and everything goes back to normal again ): |

Question: Why do friendships over 30 suck? Posted: 10 Aug 2018 01:42 PM PDT I'm in my late 30s and most my friends are in their 40s don't even try to hangout with me or text me. |
Question: Why do so many young teens make fun of child star Jojo Siwa and children’s clothing? Posted: 10 Aug 2018 10:24 AM PDT People, mostly teens, are making memes about this child star. Wearing clothes from Justice or Children's Place makes girls an easy target for bullying. This Jojo celebrity dresses younger than most 15 year olds..and it caused a huge trend for teens to bully. Why is it a big deal? I'm talking about the ages 12-18 group (adolescents). |
Question: Why are people mean to me on social media but not in real life? Posted: 10 Aug 2018 09:45 AM PDT People never talk to me in real life all they do is lie use me then stop talking to me so i stopped talking to them so i won't be used but why do people say the meanest **** online i haven't done a single thing to them and they're just being mean but they won't say it in person |

Question: Why do you think we get along so well? Posted: 10 Aug 2018 07:07 AM PDT I'm a young girl, I am very close with an older lady. I'm 19 and she is 60. She started as a mentor and grew into a very special friend. I've known her for 4 years, I just got back from visiting her. We talk every day on the phone, she likes to call me before work and in her break times, even after work too; i love talking to her and getting phone calls from her! If we are not talking on the phone we are texting or sending sweet little gifts in the mail to each other. I can go to her for anything and she will always be open to me. We've been through a lot together, she has helped me through school, life things, happy times and sad times. I went to visit her for a week and we went swimming, watched movies, cooked together, fun adventures, we had the best time ever! We've been through quite a bit. We have always had a special friendship, she is one of the sweetest friends a 19 year old can have, the love I have for her is great! We get a long so great considering the huge age difference. She holds a very special place in my heart. I'm just wondering, why do you think she likes talking to me so much? I'm so young, I know that older people don't like to be involved much with younger people. |

Posted: 10 Aug 2018 02:03 AM PDT I was at chipotle with my school friend just to visit his other friend who works there, she was making a cheese quesadilla for a early 20s year old guy and he was like "a quesadilla with only cheese?!?" in a confused and disbelief manner. He was saying that to his friend and not the guy who ordered it but that guy was like "uhhh yes that's all i'm getting and second, it's my food!" and my friend said "well what the f--k a quesadilla with only cheese?!?" finally that guy stands over my with a fist and says "HEY DIPS--T WHY DON'T YOU SHUT UP BEFORE I MAKE YOU!" just before I got in between them and guided my friend away from him, he looked semi tough and was a foot taller than my friend. My friend I went with knows how to fight but that guy he was giving a hard time had such a size advantage that it was totally an unsure situation. When that guy called us dips__ts, did that mean anything different than a weirdo or idiot, something along those lines? Well technically he called my friend a dips__t but I was with him so I feel what he did kinda rubbed off on me. |
Question: Is texting/facetiming while with someone else rude? Posted: 09 Aug 2018 10:31 PM PDT I'm with my cousin (we hardly get to see another and it is only a night) and about an hour and a half ago her friend FaceTimed her (she sees her all the time, they live in the same city) crying because her boyfriend wanted to take a break from their relationship. I felt bad but I mean, an hour and a half is a pretty long time and my cousin and I have barely talked since it started. I missed her and I am really sad she is spending the time talking to someone else, even though she is just trying to comfort her. AmI being selfish and rude for thinking this or is she being rude? |
Posted: 09 Aug 2018 10:16 PM PDT Like they where such a good friend. I had been with them for a long time. They where kind, caring, and great ti hang around with but. As soon as i started meds they vanished. It feels like they died and i dont know what to do |
Question: My dad won’t let me go to a concert with a boy, what should I do? Posted: 09 Aug 2018 09:07 PM PDT So there is this concert that my friend (who's a boy) invited me to, he even paid for me. He's like my best friend & what makes it better is that he's only that. He's never tried anything unlike other guy friends I've had so he's really JUST my friend. Anyways I told my parents about it and my mom seemed cool about it bc she has met him before but my dad he won't let me go. Just bc it's a boy. Also to mention another of our friends is going but she's a girl. My dad is rly strict when it comes to boys I'm not allowed to date yet I'm 16. My parents have let me out to parties & such but i haven't ever been to a concert. I'm a good child i don't smoke, drink, and my grades are good. How can I convince him to let me go? |
Question: I’m a 15 year old idiot please help me? Posted: 09 Aug 2018 08:59 PM PDT hello. this question doesn't have anything to do with being 15 or being a girl I just thought maybe I should mention if anyone else fitting into those categories feels the same way. anyways, I have recently been getting increasingly more annoyed with one of my closest friends. this isn't petty drama or whatever either because we haven't been fighting. they haven't done anything wrong actually. like at all. I dunno, it's just that parts of their personality that are irritating me, and they talk about this thing I don't care about all the time and it's not like it really bothers me I don't care that much it's just a lot. And like I'm supposed to know what to say or do and it's these complicated things that can be really serious at times and I know they care about it a lot but I just don't and I don't want to talk about it with them. We both have mutual friends that would be more than happy to talk about this stuff with them. I get it, okay, I care about them and want to be supportive as they've told me it's ljke the only thing keeping them alive but I just don't want to spend time with them pretending like I care about it. Am I being selfish? I don't do this to them because I don't have something like that, and at this point I'm not sure if I would. How do I change my viewpoint and stop being annoyed at the person? Do I need to change or do I need to talk with them about stepping away a bit? Will I literally kill them if I tell them any of this? Am I a bad person? |
Question: I am confused about a friend? Posted: 09 Aug 2018 08:54 PM PDT We work together and we travel a lot. We don't always travel together but on the last trip we did and we have an upcoming trip. I'm a female and he is a male. We were inseparable on the last trip. He asked me bunch of stuff if I can do with him for the upcoming trip after the trip. As soon as we got back, I guess he had a change of heart for our friendship. I tried to tell him I'm excited, he ignored me. Ignored bunch of my texts that were friendly and only would respond related to work stuff. We are about to go on that trip. He called me 2 days ago and was planning things with me. So other people mentioned something, he is now planning with them. I will be part of it, regardless, since the people we are going with are my friends. Just I feel disappointed about the switch, like nothing ever happened between us in terms of friendship. Maybe I am over exaggerating but it makes me feel depressed. When would text him last week, it felt like I was a burden. This week I let it go, he's been more responsive but I feel a huge change. Again maybe it's me. I just get close to people too quick too soon. |
Question: I don't want to live with my coworker.? Posted: 09 Aug 2018 07:18 PM PDT Honestly I have bad social anxiety and a fear of conflict, I'm talking I bought a cat to appease someone even though I am very allergic to cats and I doubt they would have cared had I said no (it's a problem I need to work on but won't be fixed in the allotted time frame). So one of my roommates (I'll call them CR) who I've been friends with for a very long time has been offered a fantastic deal to get a full house to themselves for cheap and I'm really excited for them, however I was at work and chatting with my coworkers (I'll call them CW) about the struggle to find a third roommate ( a mistake), apparently CW is looking for a place to stay but they'd need to move in at the end of the month, so I ask CR when they where looking to move out ( in case we where really pressed for time ) and they replied in a few months so I'm like prefect and explain the situation and how I don't want to live with CW at all, but now CR is asking when CW can move in and CW is asking when they can view the apartment to decide if they want to move in and I am very uncomfortable with this situation and I am at a loss as to what to do without hurting someones feelings. |
Question: What should I do about him? Posted: 09 Aug 2018 03:15 PM PDT I asked this guy what he's looking for and he said he's there if I just want to have fun but he's never had a gf before and he doesn't want one. He called me last night and we talked for hours and he said we should plan a trip together somewhere and he wants to hang out with me. He also said not to be harsh but don't catch feelings. Recently I asked him to come out and meet me and he said he was getting ready to go to bed. It's been days and I haven't heard anything from him. |
