A month later in February, we got into a relationship and everything was going great. However, after a few weeks, I realized that she was talking and hanging with two other guys who wanted to be with her. She then told me that she saw them as just friends and was going to cut them off so she could focus only on me. Now fast forward a year, after an argument I had with her, she angrily told me - as a way of hurting me I think - that she actually slept with one of the guys. It happened a few weeks after she and I had already started our relationship. So basically, she cheated on me. Needless to say that I really started to lose respect for her then. But she apologized and cried. She claimed that she wasn't really sure who she wanted to be with then, she wasn't sure I was serious about her and the good old excuse, she was drunk after a party. I forgave her. Now we are in 2018, the guy is back in picture and asking her to hang out. She hung out with him recently with a girlfriend. Now he asked her to hang out again. She claims that he is really just a friend and nothing will happen. Truth be told, she doesn't have many friends; a couple girls who are not really close to her. But I just feel like that if she really respected me, she wouldnt even consider hanging out with him at all after the history of what happened. I'm not a jealous guy. She hang out with other guy friends sometimes and it doesn't bother me. But this one just seems weird to me. |

My life could be worse and I'm incredibly grateful and I have some great things in my life. But I am SO lonely. I've never had someone love me, I've been in love with one guy but it was so complicated and it was years of me hoping and being let down. I've been used for sex by many guys and treated like an object. I've never felt true intimacy or love. I don't know the last time I was touched or hugged or cuddled or held. I just want some human contact. It feels like no one truly understands me. No one sees things the way I do and no one wants to talk about the things I do. I just need someone . I've been alone for so long and I just can't take it anymore. I drink a lot by myself and smoke weed to take away my loneliness. I don't have any say in what happens and that is completely logical, but I don't think its for me. Sex is another story. He is selfish and doesn't ever want to take the time to please me. We had a long 3 week holiday together in the UK and we decided lets go to Scotland for 2 days. I took her out all day from the morning until night time (10pm) for dinner. Wined her and dined her, we did everything. I told her I was getting tired because my knees were in alot of pain. She said fine, I will continue exploring the city "alone". I found it a bit selfish to be honest. I would have loved some alone time together in the hotel room but she wanted to go out alone and we had an argument and then I stromed back to the hotel room. She went to an outdoor bar nearby and came back to the hotel drunk and apologized. But the next day, she said she didn t do anything wrong and its her personal choice if she wants to go socialize with people and have drinks at night. Well for about 2 hours I didnt get a response something apparently came up so by the time he answered me, I was mad bc I hadnt heard from him. Well we argued (I HAVE ANXIETY AND I FREAKED. BUT HE SAID HE WAS OKAY WITH MY ANXIETY) but it was squashed. We both took the rest of the night to cool down. So we spoke again Sunday everything was cool. Then I didnt hear from him til Tuesday afternoon talking about he needed to disconnect for a while. Took much going on. I said okay I hope things get better. I hear from him again the next day we were good. But then it happens again. No word. So I began to feel like our little fall out has something to do with it and something was wrong so Sunday I sent him a text apologizing for if I made him feel smothered etc. He responds with 'I feel you. And I'm sorry for putting you in this position. I just cant do this. I need to do me first. You are free to do as you wish. | Question: Is it too late to find love at my age? Posted: 30 Aug 2018 01:50 PM PDT Someone said at my age, I'm past the point where relationships are fun, they are just boring now and if I never got one, I can't get one now. They said everyone my age is already married and it would be impossible to find someone that's single. I have never been in one before, so did I completely miss out? Is that really true, or is the person that said that just full of crap? |
