Question: Could this be a sign of flirting? Posted: 25 Aug 2018 05:32 PM PDT Let's say you have a computer class with a girl and one day she walks by your computer and flips the monitor down while she's grinning. |
Question: Why did she act awkward around me?????? Posted: 25 Aug 2018 04:25 PM PDT My name is greg and I'm 23, there this girl who works with me and shes 34. I find her super attractive and she obviously knows I like her, we always talk and we have random conversations. Appersntly she also finds me very attractive, soo today she came to work on her day off to pick up some mail. Her husband was waiting for her outside with the kids, but she didnt really talk to me, she was super awkward and she didnt look at me in the eyes. Why was she soo awkward????????? |
Posted: 25 Aug 2018 03:38 PM PDT The woman spreads dirt about the extended family to my parents like telling them insults a family member made about them to feed my Mom's bitterness. My Mom loves the woman because of this and I hate the friend of theirs for doing this. She is a really bad person. She also is nutty political to the point of sicko. |
Question: I am a lesbian and I really want to come out to my friend.? Posted: 25 Aug 2018 03:25 PM PDT She is such a great friend, and she is so kind and understanding. I am very scared to, as the last and first time I came out to my former best friend, she didn't believe me and called me "gay," whenever I did anything. Finally, I asked her to stop, as it was very rude and embarrassing. But I noticed that our relationship changed and it was very awkward. I was so embarrassed and it broke my heart as we were such good friends. I don't want my friend to think that I like her or something (I don't) but we are very good friends, and I couldn't bear to have things change between us, as it would break my heart. Should I just not come out at all, or should I just wait? Thank you! |
Posted: 25 Aug 2018 12:54 PM PDT I know the internet is pretty divided about whether or not platonic cuddling is a thing. I totally believe that it is, but I'm worried that something that happened with a friend of mine crossed the boundaries - or maybe it's just wishful thinking, because I totally have a crush on her. Basically, we were sleeping over with a large group of friends. Early on, she asked me to move my sleeping bag as close to hers as I could, and I obliged. In our friend group, "cuddle piles" are a pretty normal thing. But in general, we don't cuddle one-on-one and we aren't terribly intimate about it. This was pretty intimate. She initiated the cuddling and pressed as close to me as possible. When we were spooning, our entire bodies were pressed together. When we were face-to-face, there was a lot of eye-staring and hand-holding. I am certain there is absolutely no way an outsider would have thought we were just friends, but I don't know what to make of it as someone who (1) was there and (2) has feeling for her (i know my view is probably distorted). Also, all our friends think we're dating now b/c of the cuddling. So there's that. |
Posted: 25 Aug 2018 12:09 PM PDT Ok so I feel like I need my friends because I have lost a lot of people in my life that I thought were my friends but they just didn't want to have anything to do with me and I don't know why they were like that. I don't have a lot of friends because I guess it's because I'm so used to getting hurt and now I'm being hurt by my 2 close friends but I feel like I need them because I would even more lonely than I do now without them. I also feel like they don't really understand me. I have felt like no one understands me so is it ok to feel like I really need them? I also feel like I want someone to be my friend that is almost perfect. One that wouldn't be rude and be understanding. Are there any people in the world that are like this? |
Posted: 25 Aug 2018 10:50 AM PDT I have stopped going out with her now but what could be the reason a woman could bring her grown man son with her everywhere? He is normal and goes out with his one friend sometimes but his mom won't let him get his license or go to and from college alone. The kid isn't bad but he won't get a job and sat all summer doing nothing while his parents are living in a tiny apartment in a slum neighborhood. Why doesn't he help his parents? At 17 or 18 all of the people I knew and myself worked and went to college or at least had a job and my mom was pretty good financially and I still worked to make my way. He sits in his room all day on video games and gossips with his mom while his dad works 12 hour days and his dad is an older man. Very sad they have a lazy son. |

Question: I miss my best friend? Posted: 25 Aug 2018 09:25 AM PDT I have a friend who I have known since birth (not even joking here, our moms were close friends so we were kind of thrown together). We used to be best friends, we could tell each other anything and everything. We would make youtube videos for our joint channel we made, play house (I kinda miss doing that even though I am too old for it I guess), sing together, literally everything we did was with each other. We both had this dream of growing up and then living in a house together (like Barbie and the Diamond Castle, that was pretty much everything we wanted). A year or two ago though, she and I both moved schools and started talking less. At first we just talked over messaging, but then we started having less and less to talk about. She got really into sports (I am not into sports at all) and became a part of the "popular" group at her school. The people who are popular are all really nice, it isn't like they are your stereotypical teenage drama queens, I just don't fit in with them at all. She still invited me to go places with her occasionally, like to the movies on her birthday or shopping for prom, it just wasn't the same. I felt so incredibly awkward the entire time and we had nothing to say to each other... I guess I just really miss the friendship we used to have, I miss how close we were and our dreams we had together... Advice on how to get over it and move on? I have two best friends now who I am really close with, but I still remember her and get extremely sad. |
Question: My best friend has changed into a bad person. help? Posted: 25 Aug 2018 06:04 AM PDT so long story short, i went to camp for 6 weeks and came back and my friend told me how much she changed. (keep in mind we're 14) she told me all about how she's a "badass" and how no one messes with her now and it's all because of ONE guy she started to get with. he's fought people, done drugs i think, he's just a bad guy in the school. he was also a complete dick to her at times and she would run to me and whine about it and ask me for help and then not tell me what the after math was. i remember one time she sent me videos of her crying over him and drama that happened and a day pasted and we didn't text and then she randomly sent me a video with him. she even included in that conversation that she smoked weed for the first time. i was honestly just like "oh" and didn't really say anything of it to her but now today she's bringing it up again. she's telling me again of how much of a badass she is and telling me all the bad things she did last night at her school football game. it's starting to get really annoying because we always talk about her and i honestly don't care for talking about how "bad" she is she's just lowkey disrespectful. she told me also how she was making fun of her teacher too to her face and it's just like seriously? what should i do |
Question: Was it rude of my friend to demand money for giving me a ride? Posted: 25 Aug 2018 05:48 AM PDT Ok , so I wasn't able to drive to my appointment so I asked my friend if she could take me and even used MY car . It was only 10 mins away and it was only Like a 25 min appointment ( the whole time we were there ) so no big issue , well she demanded I give her $20 to do this favor ! Sorry I think that's ridiculous, right? I didn't give it to her so weren't not Talking because of this ( her choice $ |
Question: Why do you think we get a long so well? Posted: 25 Aug 2018 02:27 AM PDT I'm a young girl, I am very close with an older lady. I'm 19 and she is in her 60s. She started as a mentor and grew into a very special friend. I've known her for 4 years. We talk every day on the phone, she likes to call me early in the morning before work and in her break times, even after work too; We are always talking, i love getting phone calls from her! If we are not talking on the phone we are texting or sending sweet little gifts in the mail to each other. I can go to her for anything and she will always be open to me. We've been through a lot together, she has helped me through school, life things, happy times and sad times. I went to visit her for a week and we went swimming, watched movies, cooked together, fun adventures, we had the best time ever! Shes even planning my next trip to visit her. We've been through quite a bit with each other and have always had a special friendship, she is one of the sweetest friends a 19 year old can have and the love I have for her is great. We get a long so great considering the huge age difference. She always says what a very special person i am to her and how she loves me (shes not an emotional person so it means so much more). I'm just wondering, why do you think she likes talking to me so much? I'm so young, I know that older people don't like to be involved much with younger people. She is a single lady who lives by herself, she doesn't have any kids. |
Question: Should I go stay with my male best friend who I also have feelings for ? Posted: 25 Aug 2018 02:02 AM PDT Guys I need y'all advice, my best guy friend and I have been best friends for two years. We have always had like a thing, but never really done nothing about it. Almost hooked up with him once but decided not to because of our friendship. The other day at my friend's birthday he kissed me and I liked it so I allowed it. He is moving to Nashville and I promised him I would visit him for a week or so (obviously staying at his place.) Should I still go visit him after kissing him? I don't wanna be a booty call for a week because he also my best friend but I got feelings for him I keep denying. |
Question: How do you tell someone you love them? Posted: 25 Aug 2018 12:51 AM PDT We have the best friendship ever but I've always had the desire to be with him in more than a friendship type of way. We go out to clubs, to the beach to look at the sunset and talk, go to dinner or for drives to just be in each other's company. We like to cuddle up on the couch together and watch movies or we'll just cuddle up and talk. When we do cuddle, we wrap up in a cozy blanket and just talk or become very flirty with each other. We do tick one another off but then we're right back to being friends again. We are one another's constant companion and to say the least is we're attached at the waist for sure. We have said the word love to one another but not in a serious way like boyfriend and girlfriend. Please help with your serious answers only. |

Question: Why do I unfairly judge people? Posted: 24 Aug 2018 08:16 PM PDT Every year I think that everyone will be more "mature", and I am able to make friends with them, but I'm always disappointed when I judge them superficially. Most people I hate I've never spoken a meaningful word to. If I get to know them I don't know if the real people will be better or worse than what I came up with in my head about them. I'm no better than any of the people that I judge, actually worse because I don't do anything but lounge and think I'm better than everyone. Every year of school I disappoint myself with this perfect world where everything is how I want it. But really I should be disappointed in myself for being a distancing prick that has no right to judge anyone. If I don't know anyone then I can make up everything about them, then all they are is just fiction because I hated them for not being part of my perfect world. If anyone can make sense of this please answer. |
Posted: 24 Aug 2018 07:48 PM PDT Back around Halloween of 2006 me, my younger brother, a girl who went to my school and my brothers friend along with his brother who was close to my age were goofing off. I remember saying I'm horny and the girl looking at me strange. This girl was known to take her shirt off in front my brothers friend and his older brother. This time she said she would do it, I was excited. The older brother said your getting ready to see the best thing. She unzipped her shirt and opened it, the older brother of my brothers friend threw tuna on her because he was goofing off. The girl got mad and said she was leaving. My brother said can I see and she opened her shirt, I saw her bra, and her belly button. I kept asking would she come back hoping to see her belly button (I have a navel fetish). The girl rode my bus and since its been almost 12 years ago I can't remember what she said at some point when I got on but I remember laughing. In high school I was bullied. I've imagined that in a different school system there was a girl who was in my grade, liked similar stuff as me and was bullied as well. I've also pictured her as being sad, lonely, and shy. I'm the kind of person who believes you should wait before sex. I also believe in treating women with respect and not cheating on them, I believe in loyalty in a relationship. I also have been wondering did I ruin anything? Did I cheat? (I didn't have a girlfriend) Am I like the other guys? Do I deserve a girl like the one in my fantasy? |
Question: My friend is weirdly acting emotionally abusive.? Posted: 24 Aug 2018 07:39 PM PDT I have a friend who have a lot of.. issues. The thing was, she would get angry and spam me whenever I went away and wasn't there at her fingertips. I get it.. she may be clingy cause I could be the only one who listens to her.. but.. whenever I'm not there the spams that she's going to kill herself and sends pictures to me of her cutting herself. Anyways, we become friends again. We're just talking about random *** crap. Then I went to go eat dinner with my family and next thing I know, she's blocked me on EVERYTHING. My other friend, (Best friends with her) is spamming me again to help her. SO I end up threatening to call the police on her because she was going to commit suicide. I ended up talking her out of it. I don't hear anything from her for the next few minutes and next thing I know, my friend is taking about how she keeps on texting him that she "Hates the both of us" and that she's "seriously going to cut herself up" I talk her out of it again, (Cause I'm good at that crap.) and then my OTHER FRIEND starts going on about how he wants to kill himself. I don't know what to do.. I've talked them both out of it for tonight.. but I feel awful. I feel like I'm not good enough and that everything I do is worthless. I want to stop being friends with them but I know that if I do they'll say they're going to kill themselves. I can't live with myself if I cause someone to kill themseves. They won't stop texting and spamming me PLEASE HELP. I don't know what to do! |
