Question: I ask an old friend if they wanted to chat soon, over the internet and? Posted: 01 Aug 2018 04:43 PM PDT a week earlier he said if you ever wanna talk let know as i had been in contact with him. this week, i said are you free friday for a chat?" and he said "i don t know how to answer that question, what is the context?" should i just not bother? that seems like a strange question to be when he asked me to talk earlier |
Question: Why would someone not respond to a friend request? Posted: 01 Aug 2018 04:21 PM PDT Even if you know them very well and have been supportive of them. |
Question: 26 yr old female how do I find female friends? Posted: 01 Aug 2018 04:03 PM PDT I have difficulty trusting other females because I had a best friend of 8 years who slept with my boyfriend, and ever since then, I havent been able to let women get close to me. I'll start to become friends with someone but then I'll slowly stop involving them in my life. I just feel uncomfortable being around the same sex for some reason now. I have zero girl friends. I dont even know where to find them anymore because I dont go to college and I'm self employed. Going out to bars just to meet a female friend seems pretty weird...so I dont know where to start. I dont want to feel like I'm trying to "pick up" someone. I noticed on a dating site that some women actually have profiles just to find female friends, but that also seems a little strange. Any ideas? |
Question: What are these people called? Posted: 01 Aug 2018 03:49 PM PDT People who do stupid **** to me (making fun of me "behind my back" when I'm RIGHT next to them, thinking I can't hear them, for example) and wonder the **** why I hate them so goddamn much. It's so ******* obvious why! Or it should be! Not only that, but those people who keep at it and don't pick up on my hints of how much I hate and despise of them. |
Question: Why does everyone fuking hate me? Posted: 01 Aug 2018 03:45 PM PDT Some people say "te quiero" like my father but he does not mean it. My father says i have friends but i dont. I never had. Everyone is mean to me and worse when i am nice to them, they stick their ******* middle finger at me. Its like i cant express my real feeling. |
Posted: 01 Aug 2018 03:43 PM PDT I don t feel human. I stand out. I can never fit in, no matter where I go. Many friends don t feel like real friends. And did I forget to mention that I hate humans and used to plan how to murder all of humanity... Good times Also I m only 13 please send halp |
Posted: 01 Aug 2018 03:31 PM PDT This older man was talking about this documentary in which a 40 something woman falls in love with a 20 something man. I said that is not love then, but he says maybe it could be. I was like "oh really?" but he didnt continue. Why would he say this when I was rejected by him when I asked him out in the past? |
Question: Did we do something wrong? Posted: 01 Aug 2018 03:05 PM PDT I got a note from the school that my 16 year old daughter Lisa was failing math and they recommended a tutor to help her. They sent a list of tutors home with Lisa and I started calling them. All of the tutors were very expensive. Being a single mom, I just could not afford them. I knew a family friend that I thought knew enough math to tutor her and I hoped he would be a lot cheaper. His name was Bill and he was a college senior. I called Bill and asked him if he would tutor Lisa and he agreed to do if for free. He was a great guy for doing this for her. He did tutor Lisa for 3 months. When Lisa got her grade card, she got an A in math. We were both VERY HAPPY and asked Bill go come over so we could tell him the GREAT NEWS. When we told him Lisa's math grade he said that is wonderful news. Lisa told Bill she had to thank him for his help so she kissed him. After she was through kissing him Bill turned to me and said "your turn". I was so excited I kissed him also. We all had a good laugh and a group hug. Bill said "if you need any more help with school subjects, just call me". Some of my friends that I told about this told me what we did was not appropriate and that Bill would get the wrong idea. My take on this is that if Bill was happy and my daughter and I were happy, there is no problem. We were just having fun. What do you think? Did we do something wrong? |
Posted: 01 Aug 2018 02:15 PM PDT I don't think she noticed but in the photo my friend posted of her son who is 7 or 8 you can see that he's wearing some kind of diaper under his pants. Should I point it out to her or just ignore it. |
Question: Why does my friend lie to me when she says I'm one of her best friends? Posted: 01 Aug 2018 01:58 PM PDT She clearly hangs out with other people a lot more than me. What would your explanation be? She'll hang out with another person every day for 30 days straight, then she'll talk to me like I'm one of her great friends. |
Question: Where could my friend’s parents work? This is so weird? Posted: 01 Aug 2018 01:57 PM PDT So my friend at school said her parents work for the government, and she's not allowed to specify. And today I was bored so I was looking at her house on google earth and it's even blurred off and covered on google earth compared to all the other houses in the neighborhood. She's also not allowed to tell people personal info of any type at school. What do you think her parents work? |
Question: How to talk to my friend about this? Please answer and help? Please? Need serious advice? Posted: 01 Aug 2018 01:47 PM PDT Okay so I have a friend (we'll call him Tim) and we are pretty close and i love hanging out with him. However he has this other friend (we'll call him John) who constantly invites himself to events that I exclusively invite Tim to. Thing is I wouldn't mind except that John is a Grade A Jerk. I mean he is crass, rude, makes inappropriate commentary, etc. He constantly invites himself to these events that are exclusive to me and Tim and since I don't like hanging out with him it's gotten very and I mean very annoying. Take for example just these past two weeks, so my friend Tim is leaving town to be gone for a few months and so I planned out one last hangout for us to attend, well John ended up inviting himself and is now coming to said event. To counter this I planned out another event this weekend that just me and Tim can go to and hang out, well if you already guessed that John managed to invite himself you would be right. Since it's a public event at a public place I can't tell him not to show up I mean he technically has every right to be there that I do. The problem is sometimes i wanna hang out with my friend and it's just us. I'm friends with Tim not John. I have noticed though Tim seems to not be able to tell John "no" even when he wants to. For example John really insulted Tim's girlfriend by using foul language when we were all hanging out well Tim never said a word but was visually uncomfortable. It's almost as if he just can't say no to John. Help? Please? PLEASE READ UPDATE! what I meant by the not saying no thing is I have noticed Tim will never say no but he won't exactly be ecstatic and say yes either. Like if i'm around and John invites himself or asks to hang out, Tim instead of saying no will say "we'll see" then when the day comes it almost sounds like he feels obligated to hang out with this dude. Thing is whenever I try to talk to Tim about it he gets slightly offended and tells me "You don't know John like I do i have known him longer" |
Question: Has anyone ever practiced bullying with you at school? Posted: 01 Aug 2018 01:32 PM PDT This happened to me. I was very shy because of this, with difficulties of making friends, everything was very difficult. Has anyone experienced this? What did you do to overcome? |

Posted: 01 Aug 2018 12:10 PM PDT i ve been hurt in the past as well but its always affected by next atsk at hand like for example my work.I really want to be able to forgive and also forget these incidents where in these people have hurt me which i see i fail to do it quickly and i lag behind. However ive seen this one particular woman who had been mocked upon several times and she just never says a word and heck she doent even remember them and hence is quite effecient at her work and coming out victorious off her troubles.I see her as an inspiration but its still difficult for me and i was wondering if you people can let me know some tips for me to become more forgiving. P.S : this woman too is christian and im in awe of her acts because by her forgiving deeds she proves herself as a christian and i too want to be like her |
Question: He called me his side kick. Does he like me more then friends? Posted: 01 Aug 2018 12:04 PM PDT I met a guy 3 years ago when we worked together. We both moved onto different jobs but remained in touch. We text back and forth almost daily. We do joke often and he hadn t texted me in a couple days so when he did finally text me and say he s been working alot of extra hours training new management. I responded and said, "I was wondering why you weren t texting as often, I thought you might have a new side chick!" I then put Lol and just kidding after. Well, today he texts back and said he s been working 13 hours daily and just beat when he gets home. He then says, "No, no other side kick...lol" Do you think he likes me more then friends? |
Question: Should I rethink my friendship? Posted: 01 Aug 2018 11:05 AM PDT We have been friends for over a year, he started the friendship with me but I think there are some problems. There will be no contact unless I instigate contact either text, email or talking in person. I always plan the hangouts and am always the one to make the suggestion and when we do hangout it is very brief and he always seems to be in a rush to get home. Will make time for other friends but tell me he never plans anything and everything he does is spontaneous and when I am spontaneous he tells me he is busy. I hope I am not overreacting, I know the world doesn't revolve around me but I can't help feel a bit pushed aside. I have minor social anxiety and it is hard for me to make friends so without this friendship I will have no one else. (I am not overreacting here) What should I do? |
Question: How can I improve my social skills? Posted: 01 Aug 2018 11:03 AM PDT I'm very socially awkward and shy. I really want to make more friends but I'm too nervous to come up to somebody and say hi. I'm not good with conversations unless I know you well. I know if I find a way to overcome this I can have friends. Does anybody have tips? |
Question: If your friend wet his pants in school, how would you handle it? Posted: 01 Aug 2018 11:01 AM PDT We're in 7th grade and my friend had an accident. In Math the teacher wouldn't let him go to the bathroom. He couldn't hold it and peed in his pants. Now everyone is teasing him and he's sad. What should I do? |
Question: Why does she offer to do these things? Posted: 01 Aug 2018 10:19 AM PDT This older girl is friends with another girl who's closer to me and I've got a flirty vibe and a gut feeling her friend likes me because this girl sends me to talk to her friend and do things as a joke and have me take pictures with them and be around them. Her friend blushes a lot around me teases me playfully, laughs a lot, smiles, finds ways to get close and talk. At first they took turns with pictures next to me but then her friend wanted me next to her. Well this girl has done flirting of her own she walked the same way I did then told me she's doing it. Going he's 6ft tall with long legs ooooh. She's laughed at stuff I say smile a lot and talk to me in a different tone and does this stuff in front of her friend this flirting. She offered me a ride home then hesitated when I accepted but gave me a ride. She tries to get me to be around them and her friend cops an attitude. She tries to get me to talk to her friend and be around them but she makes all the propositions and also behind her friends back she tries to get me around her because she offered me a ride, hesitated and seemed apprehensive when I accepted then told her friend later the next day. Said me and her would be dancing partners she'd like to dance with me. Me and her friend had long awkward eye contact, she sat in silence staring into my eyes because i made a joke she didn't get. She sat in silence staring in my eyes and when I looked away she continued staring at me. Well this girl giggled uncomfortably from it. Why does she try to be around me when her friend isn't around. ☆ Sent from iOS Dr. Know! 1.1.04 |
Question: How to make friends/what to talk about to start makin friends? Posted: 01 Aug 2018 09:07 AM PDT I've been on this team wit a couple people that I haven't socialized with a bunch we've talked a little but my friends are boring and they actually go out so I'm tryna get closer wit them |
Question: Are all high school guys like this? Posted: 01 Aug 2018 07:36 AM PDT I am the only girl in my AP Calculus class. My classmates are all my friends and are great guys. We have a lot of home work so we sometimes gather at someone's house and do our homework together. This time it was my house. After we completed the homework, my mom served all the guys fresh homemade apple pie and ice cream. They loved it. We usually rotate whose house we go to for doing the homework. However the guys ask me if we could go to my house again for the homework. That is OK with me. I just thought they liked the pie and ice cream my mom made for them. Then one of the guys told me the real reason they wanted to come to my house. When mom served them pie and ice cream she wore her Daisy Dukes. Are all high school guys like this that they are horny for someone twice their age? |
Posted: 01 Aug 2018 06:04 AM PDT I've been going to my friend for auto repairs for the past several years. He used to give good deals and was always very honest with the work that needed to be done which is very important. I used to refer everyone to his business, preaching his good honest work. Lately his prices have gone up to dealership rates. He doesn't cut me any deals anymore (which is fine) but I started finding better rates elsewhere. Should I go with the other places offering or should I keep emptying my pocket to support his business? Or should I tell him I found better rates elsewhere and offer him the opportunity to match the price? I'm afraid that once he finds out I'm going somewhere else he may be offended. At the same time my spouse isn't working as we are raising children and it's getting harder to support his all inclusive vacations and expensive lifestyle. What should I do? |

Question: Is it Weird that my only actual friend is a 22yr old? Posted: 31 Jul 2018 11:43 PM PDT So i'm 16 and the only friend i've had for roughly the last 2ish years is a 22yr old (well 22 now 20 when we became friends) now she was originally my older sister's friend but after her being around so often we did eventually become friends (we have a crap ton of things in commen, likeing the same shows, similar sense of humor etc.) And i see her as a sister. But i don't have any friends aside from her, acquaintances yes but friends... no, and i've been thinking on it lately (my bestfriend from when i was little died recently) and just is it weird? |
Question: My friend’s boyfriend kissed me in front of her, how do I get her to forgive me? Posted: 31 Jul 2018 11:35 PM PDT We were all really drunk and her boyfriend was feeling me up so I panicked and thought 'I have to friend zone him before this goes too far' so I went to peck him on the cheek and he went in a kissed me on the lips even though his girlfriend was sitting on his lap. She wasn't mad at me because she thought that it was all his fault. The next day I told her that he kissed me on the lips because I went for the cheek. She said that she was glad I told her and didn't seem too angry. But now she's avoiding me which I understand but I just want to know how do I win her back. It's been 4 days and so I'm wondering if I should do something or just give her more time? Thanks x |

Question: Is it haram for a Muslim girl to be very close (best friends) with a boy (I’m catholic)? Posted: 31 Jul 2018 11:06 PM PDT So we're best friends we've been there for each other countless times. But I've come to a realization that Islam has these strict *** rules for women like not allowed to hug a dude or shake his hand or being close to a guy. She always tells me she loves me, she cares for me, and that she'll be there for me always. She's orthodox so she's a hardcore Muslim and I want to respect her. I don't want her going to hell because of me. Is it haram for her to be close to me? If it is should we just stop being best friends :,( |

Question: Good friend is not taking care of his dog...? Posted: 31 Jul 2018 06:53 PM PDT Hey guys so I could use some here because I'm struggling a little. One of my good friends owns a dog but doesn't take care of it at all. He hasn't taken it to the vet, doesn't clean it, barely walks it, and occasionally slaps it. I've told him over time he needs to step it up and change (I even threatened to call the police) but he ignores me time and time again. He had a difficult childhood, his father was abusive, and he helped me through a very difficult part of my life. He's my friend, not some stranger or a neighbor. I myself have a sphynx, a very high maintenance cat. I wash him weekly, cut his nails every day, clean out his ears, and make sure I play with him an hour a day. I've taken him to the vet dozens of times since I've had him (a year) because he had tons of medical problems. I love animals more than anything and I work very hard for mine to have a healthy happy life. and this whole thing is eating away at me. I could use some advice, what do I do? Do I call someone, do I distance myself from him, do I continue trying again convince him? What would you guys do. Thank you |
Question: Would you be angry if I said this to you? Posted: 31 Jul 2018 06:24 PM PDT 'Go to hell" I'm in a serious relationship with a very mature and intelligent 25 year old. We had an argument and I told her to go to hell (because she said something hurtful). She is NOT religious, but was very upset by it. So upset that she angrily told me that we were over I've fixed it now, but she hasn't gotten over it. I think she's overreacting. My friend agrees, although he says I shouldn't have said it in the first place, because although she isn't religious, no one should say that to anyone Opinions? |
Question: Creeped out? Help please? Posted: 31 Jul 2018 06:21 PM PDT This girl started was my friend, I started pulling away because she demanded way too much of my time and effort. She had a "crisis" everyday and she also would copy everything about me and be over at our house every single day unannounced. She would get super jealous if I hung out with any of my other friends. As soon as I pulled away she went for my brother. They've been dating for a few months, all of his friends have fell off and they have moved in together all ready. They could not afford their appt so now they're moving in with our parents. They asked for my room and now they have my room? I'm so confused on my mother would do this knowing everything that's gone on. I feel so betrayed and helpless. I'm saving to move out but help for the meantime. She has brought nothing but havoc to my life ever since I met her and I don't even think I could explain everything she's done. It's so weird it's like she wants my life and my family's just giving it to her |
