Question: Parents fighting. Possible divorce? Help!? Posted: 01 Aug 2018 09:58 PM PDT This is a very personal situation and personally, the only reason I'm begging advice on the internet is because I'm scared and not sure what to do. I'm writing this at 11 pm in my room. Right now, my parents are having a fight. Not a loud one that consists of yelling, but my mom wants to kick my dad out of the house. My mom has been threatening to divorce my dad for a while when they fight. Usually it was about financial situations or my dad occasionally being a jerk, but this time it was different. Earlier today when my mom had borrowed my dad's phone, she found some...I'll just say...porn-related in his search history. He apparently typed it in when he was drunk from what I've heard from their fight. My mom did NOT stand for this. I'm so worried they're gonna divorce. I'm scared. I'm an 18 year old guy and I have no idea how to cope with this. I feel so alone. I have no one to talk to about it. Thank you for those who take the time to comfort me and guide me on this. I understand that I can't control any of this so it helps being able to talk to someone. |
Question: HELP WITH STRESS WHAT TO DO? Posted: 01 Aug 2018 08:19 PM PDT Ok im gonna sum this up as short as I possibly can. My mother died when i was 14 (2014) so I moved in with my brother and his wife. Well as of last year they separated due to him cheating. I still live with his wife and my boyfriend in a rented home for 650 a month. I work part time and make an average of 550 every two weeks. I give 200 each check for rent and another 150 towards food. It seems all I do now since I graduated is work and sleep. I dont go out anymore or talk to anyone. I also have to rely on my grandmother for rides since for the past 3 months I have had this job ive been using my entire checks towards the household. Im scared something could happen to her and if I dont have a ride to work I will be fired and ive been reminded many times by my brothers wife well call Amy, that if I lose my job well lose our home. Or if I dont help towards groceries we dont eat. I am only 18 years old now and im supposed to go back to school in the fall, but im thinking of just putting it aside for now until I can have time and are more financially stable. I want to be a veterinarian, but i dont see myself after my 4 basic years being able to go to Veterinarian school (which the closest one to me is an hour drive away) and be able to work and afford the gas and other stuff. Im so scared to lose my home and not be able to help my family. What should I do? |

Question: Is it wrong to marry your cousin? Posted: 01 Aug 2018 07:12 PM PDT Where I come from it's legal and socially acceptable. They even tell you to look for a wife inside the family before looking somewhere else. |

Posted: 01 Aug 2018 06:20 PM PDT First let me set up the past , my mom died a few years ago , I along with my 3 sisters did inherit the house but I did get the home signed over to me from my mom as I did get a mortgage on it to get it renovated years ago before she died , no one since her death has helped with any repairs or the mortgage , the sister who lives with me got married and her husband has moved in , that's ok and things are going great , I have another sister who is married with 2 kids who had a breakdown of sorts and along with the ups and downs f her and her husband problems always came running back to our mom , now its the future and her husband is saying that he is getting ready to leave her , is it wrong for me to feel that I don't need to get involved in the drama , their drama have been going on for 15 years and as I said to my sister that Im tired and cant deal with them anymore , I'm ready to sell the house or just let the bank take it , I have medical issues of my own and can not take care of a adult human being ……….need some help here |
Question: Why do women like being disrespected in bed.? Posted: 01 Aug 2018 04:24 PM PDT I've asked my friends at work if their wives like it when your "abusive" in bed. Like if they love it when their hair is pulled and are spanked. |
Question: Why do people breakup after a rejected proposal? Posted: 01 Aug 2018 04:06 PM PDT My fiance proposed and I rejected his proposal and let him know I'm not ready. Now he wants to breakup because he feels he loves me more than I love him. Which is possible. But my relationship isn't the first. Why do people breakup after a rejected proposal? |
Question: How to deal with my wife’s mother? Posted: 01 Aug 2018 01:57 PM PDT My wife's mother is nosy and she interferes in private business. My wife and I are recently married. I didn't want to start the marriage with a confrontation, but the old woman should know that I don't appreciate her meddling. What happens between me and my wife is none of her business. |
Question: Is it common to file divorce because you a constantly broke?? Posted: 01 Aug 2018 10:54 AM PDT in a unhappy marriage and buried in debt..do couples call it quits |
Question: Help, my husband's gone crazy ? Posted: 01 Aug 2018 09:53 AM PDT I've been married to him for about a year, he's obsessed with sex for some reason... and he would ask me to do things, like have anal sex which is gross, and he would call me "slut", "his *****" etc... in bed.. I really feel like a prostitute not his wife, it's creeping me out, and I don't feel like he respects me at all, he asks me to do weird stuff that I refuse of course which makes him mad at me, he doesn't understand that this isn't a porn movie, he's crazy and a freak, sometimes he'd stop talking to me for a week if I refuse to do disgusting stuff with him, what should I do ?? I don't feel happy with him anymore, and I don't feel like there's mutual respect, it's like he's just some man and I'm his whore.. he used to be a good guy before marriage, help ?? |

Question: Why do people look at me strange when I say I don't want to get married? Posted: 01 Aug 2018 06:30 AM PDT I don't want to settle down and have kids. I've been in a few relationships, it honestly get's suffocating after awhile. If I find that suffocating I can't imagine how much worse marriage would be. I see my Dad come back from a hard days work. All he wants to do is watch the news on TV. But my Moms nagging him saying he's lazy although he's been working all day. I don't know, I just can't imagine that life. I want freedom and some space. Marriage can't give me that. I'm 23 years old by the way. Some people my age are already married and already thinking about getting a kid. They say they can't go on vacation because they're busy raising a family. I feel they completely wasted their twenties. I've been to Greece, Paris, Korea, London. They can't do those kinds of things. Marriage really limits what you can do. It's like your freedom is lost. |
Question: How to cope with a husband who isnt romantic? Posted: 01 Aug 2018 05:45 AM PDT My husband never remembers anniversarys, birthdays etc. Never buys me gifts and rarely plans dates. He has 0 ounce of romance in his body. I talked to hom about it but nothing ever changes. We married too quickly and i never notice these things while dating becasue we disnt date long which was my mistake bc i probably wpuldnt have married him. Not only because of this but other issues. I want it to work out so how do i cope or make it through. |
Question: Is he playing games with me? Posted: 01 Aug 2018 05:07 AM PDT My and I have several mutual friends. We all hung out last week and of course my ex and I got into a petty disagreement. He even text me after the party to tell me how wrong I was. I called him and left him a voicemail told him that I haven't hung out with that group of friends because I'm uncomfortable around him but wanted to have a conversation to see if we could smooth out the tension between us so that we don't butt heads every time we see each other. Of course he responded through a very vague text. I text him back that I called to have a conversation because text get easily misinterpreted. I woke up this morning to see that I had a missed call from him at 2:45 a.m. and I a text at 2:50 a.m. that said, "I tried to call". Why would he call me at such a ridiculous time thinking that I would actually be open to talking him at that hour? |

Question: My daughter moved back in with me after my husband split? Posted: 01 Aug 2018 04:14 AM PDT Even though she is a hard person to live with, we both need each other to help pay bills. She has a boy friend that stays weekends, it upsets me because he eats a lot of food and never chips in any money. I see him walk around the house with no shirt on, and I kind of like it, but then I think "this is my daughters guy" I hear them make love, and I actually get jealous. I get aroused hearing them and wonder what it would be like if he broke up with my daughter and moved in with me alone. my daughters young, she can get another guy, he's more my type. the dead beat husband of mine is long gone but we aren't divorced. need some kind of plan to get them fighting..any idea would be great.. |
Posted: 01 Aug 2018 12:20 AM PDT Liz is naturally thin, always has been. I said nothing to him. He said earlier in the day that I was "looking chubby." Then he was watching me get dressed when he came up with this sh it. I said nothing to bring it on. |
Question: How to get on my parents in law's good side? Posted: 31 Jul 2018 12:02 PM PDT I just got married and things between me and my wife are going from bad to worse due to her parents constant presence and interference. I only met them briefly a few times when we were engaged; i asked to see more of them so as to get a better idea but she always made excuses etc. I told her since im clueless about her parents, after we marry i dont want them in my face or interfering with us. I got in an argument with her father over the phone and things escalated rather quickly and he called me a "bastard" cause im an orphan; so i told him to F off and called him an A hole. I told my wife that i dont want to see or talk to them anymore for a very long time even if the apologize and they must mean it. They never did. My wife is unhappy cause she wants to see her parents; and she means the world to me ( yet i never told her that ). So i guess i must act like the mature guy here and somehow get on their good side for the benefit of my wife's wellbeing and general domestic harmony. Suggestions ? Steve: i dont know if my biological parents were married or not. For someone like me to be off the streets, with a job, money in the bank and a fully paid / furnished home is one heck of an accomplishment. Step two was getting married to this fantastic girl and step three is to be a family with kids. Thanks for the advice Steve; if i had parents, i wouldnt be here asking, would i ? |
