Question: Is my wife too fat to exercise? Posted: 02 Nov 2017 10:04 PM PDT My wife has always been heavy, but has steadily gained throughout our marriage (and being a stay at home Mom didn't help). This past year she went from heavy to huge (near 500 lbs). She is fairly short, so walking takes a huge toll on her. She said her knees ache and her heart pounds. She can't physically get off the couch without my help. My son and I bring her food, and her diet is poor. Because of the mobility issues, she's been moving less and eating more. If she's awake, she's eating. When I'm at work and our son is at school, I leave food out for her in bed. Then my son brings her fast food on the way home. She usually then naps, and then I usually bring a second fast food meal when I come from work. Then she normally snacks or has another meal, and then I get her more food around midnight or 1 am. It takes 3-4 portions to fill her up. She's on her feet only to get to the bathroom or the couch, and my son and I help her there. I'm worried, but she said she can't cut back on food. She said she is willing to exercise and wants to try walking, but I don't want to let her. The last time we tried to go for a walk, she was wheezing so badly I thought she'd have a heart attack. I know it's bad to lay in bed all day but at least it's less work for her heart? I'm open to seated leg and arm stretches, but I don't want her standing too long at her size. Who is right, and should she exercise? |
Question: Court house marriage and the real thing next year.? Posted: 02 Nov 2017 09:51 PM PDT My fiance and I want to get married through the court house soon. But We want to keep it a total secret. We are planning on getting married next year, but are worried about someone finding out we are already married. Can we get a new marriage license when we get married in front of our friends and family? Or do we not have to get a marriage license since we are already married? |

Question: Want to move out of apartment! living with husband and his family? Posted: 02 Nov 2017 09:31 PM PDT They're driving me nuts in this small a** apartment! If you read my other post, you'd understand! Husband and his family pays the rent/lights. When we married and I moved in I offered to HELP him pay his half of the rent/contribute to lights/groceries. He didn't want me to but At the time I was making more than him but now he has a better job and a higher position than me. He can take over his half of the rent like he was doing in the beginning while I save what I make for our place. But he doesn't want me to do that. He wants to split the bills with his family (I think so we can stay here longer) while I prefer to just save and move out!! I told him this is my priority! I need my sanity!! Idk what to do. Rent is due tomorrow. I could give him my half of HIS half of the rent OR KEEP IT IN MY SAVINGS AND TELL HIM TO **** OFF. I WILL GO LIVE IN MY CAR IF I HAVE TO. |

Question: Am i a bad husband/father? Posted: 02 Nov 2017 09:00 PM PDT I have been married for 5 years. In total i have been with my wife for 10 years. We have 3 sons, a 5 year old, 2 year old and a 6 month old baby. I am a soldier. I joined just before my 5 year old was born. I have a tremendous workload. I was gone for a large portion of my 5 year olds life due to basic/AIT and a deployment. Now i work on a post where we train for 2 weeks straight per month every month. I try as hard as i can to be home and help take care of the kids and be with my family. I do everything possible to make sure my family has everything they need, unfortunately at the expense of my time with them. I give up a lot to spend as much time as possible at home. When the guys i work woth are all out at the bar or doing other things together and invite me i always turn them down because i want to be with my family. My wife reminds me all of the time about how much im gone and how little i see them. How i dont help out and im like a ghost. Now im home and i feel like im just a total failure. Im depressed all of the time and i know she's right. No matter how much i try, i just end up being a big disappointment. So, what do you all think?? |

Question: Wife has changed and getting to the bottom of it is not easy? Posted: 02 Nov 2017 08:31 PM PDT Happily married 5 years with 2 children, she is 35 and i am 37.After she went back to Italy with her mother to stay with her step brother and his family for 3 weeks she seemed withdrawn and complained of feeling depressed. Discovered on her phone that her step brother assaulted her when they argued after drinking alcohol, when i have confronted her she will say nothing which is making me suspicious but at this point i don't know what to do? |
Posted: 02 Nov 2017 07:51 PM PDT Well she gave birth. He signed the birth certificate. He wants to be there for the baby. So he goes to her house and sees the baby over there. Then he comes home. His family has met the baby and his family also didn't tell me what he did. Why is that? I felt that was cruel. I'm hurt but confused. He served me with separation papers this evening. I don't want a divorce. I don't want him to be a father to the baby |
Posted: 02 Nov 2017 06:14 PM PDT Our oldest daughter is 16 and has a friend. Her name is Kristin. She KNOWS we are married. She seduced my husband two years ago when she was 14. We hosted sleepovers. She stayed over. We have four kids together with our oldest son being 20 and our youngest are 13 Year Old twins girls. I asked our twins if daddy touched them before but they said no. They said daddy does flirt with women when they go out. Plus we are conservatives. I'm very disgusted by this. This woman is old enough to know better and not wreck my family. I know her parents and they are considering pressing charges. He told me he didn't use condoms with her. I also believe she's pregnant. My daughter is confused and terrified. What can I Do? I hate her so much for messing up my family. Please |

Posted: 02 Nov 2017 05:15 PM PDT My ex doesn't work, but she remarried years ago and her husband works. I have full custody of our son, but now she wants partial custody - and if she's going to fight me in court I think she should start paying child support. She never has, and she never tried to see my son for 9 years. |
Question: My wife is leaving me and taking our kids? Posted: 02 Nov 2017 05:03 PM PDT My wife cheated on me. She has filed for divorce and will be keeping the house. I lost my children, my car, half my wealth. And now I have to pay alimony. The courts grant her full custody of our kids that ******* *****. I want to kill myself. I have a gun in my hand and I just need a reason why I shouldn't blow my brains out here and now. I'll wait 3 days |
Question: Marriage then sex or Sex then marriage? Posted: 02 Nov 2017 03:22 PM PDT |
Question: Girl at school says she got married at 13. Is she pulling my leg? Posted: 02 Nov 2017 03:22 PM PDT So a girl at school she had an arranged marriage at 13. She said that sort of thing is common in her culture. She showed an old photo of her in a lacy thing that certainly looked like a wedding dress, standing with a confused looking older boy in a tux. Is she pulling my leg? If she is, what occasion could she have been to that involved her wearing a lacy gown at that age? If you think this story is true, should I report this to someone? Would the US recognize a marriage at that age if it occurred in another country? Oh, before you go there, she said she and the boy never had sex. She is supposed to go live with him when he is a couple years older. |
Question: Should the wife be her own person? Posted: 02 Nov 2017 03:09 PM PDT Like many people say the wife should have her own personality. |
Posted: 02 Nov 2017 02:55 PM PDT I am going through a divorce, we are living apart for 6 months, and i started seeing someone... this new guy is fun, exciting and a good person, he loves me, we are going out for 3 month's, but i just can't get my ex husband out of my thought's, we were married for 4 year's and dating for 2 so we were 6 year's together. But my dilema is this,...... before....this has happened, when i was with my now ex husband, i was thinking about my ex boyfriend...allthe time!....(who i dated before i started dating my now ex husband, we dated for 5.5 year's).... i just couldn't stop myself from checking his facebook everyday, his girlfriend's profile, and any new picture's that they had posted..... so now..... after this divorce... i completelly forgot about my ex boyfriend, but now all i can think about is my now ex husband, which when i was with him, i didnt appreciated him but i was thinking about my ex boyfriend,..... and even worse is that the divorce was initiated because i said(in a drunk state) that i still loved my boyfriend, in front of my ex mother in law and father in law.... and only to discover that acctually i love my now ex- husband, or maybe i don't, maybe i love my current boyfriend with whom i have a lovely time toghether and he is my support and wan't to marry me.....has anybody been in this kind of (not appreciating what you got at the moment) situation.......and how to get over it....i really don't know what am i feeling.,i was begging my now ex husband for forgivenes |
Question: My Husband is Noisy? Posted: 02 Nov 2017 02:41 PM PDT For our entire married life, Every time my husband moves, he lets out a loud groan, sigh, grunt or some such loud exclamation. We've been married 35 years and now that he is ready to retire I think it will become more annoying. His health is good, he is just constantly making noises! Help. So far I have held my tongue. |
Posted: 02 Nov 2017 02:26 PM PDT Hello, my husband is off at boot camp. I saw an email saying "so and so wants to chat on MeetMe". I clicked on it and saw that my husband has an account with "MeetMe" with a fake name and some pictures of himself. I looked further into it and saw he had posted the photos of himself 3 months ago. I also looked at his about me and it says he's single! However, i tried looking into his chats and I don't see any communications between anyone. However, I don't really know how to use this website. It looks like a dating site to me. I can't help but feel horrible about it. What should I do? I don't get to communicate with him much if at all. He comes home in December for vacation. We have an 18 month old and I do love my husband. I want him to focus on bootcamp but this is bothering me. What would you do? Should I be upset? What would you do if you found out your significant other had a MeetMe account with a fake name? |

Posted: 02 Nov 2017 08:27 AM PDT Like 20 photos of the same girls profile, so you asked him/her who it was and their reply was "nobody" how would you react? Then after I was pissed at his vague answer he said it was a girl at an event we went to he had seen on the Facebook page and he was looking at her pics because she was weird(only similarity in the pics was she was topless with her arms infront of her breasts in different poses, with like Instagram ears nose stickers on) I know he was perving (which would have been fine I get it he's a guy) but he won't admit it was sexual and she isn't even on that page because after he said that I looked. After a load of jerk I'll admit I'm not very trusting but my radar is going crazy over this. Do you think his story adds up or is there more to it and why is he being so defensive, not sure what my next move should be, I do really want to trust him... but ... |
Question: Why does my husband not want to come to bed with me? Posted: 02 Nov 2017 07:05 AM PDT Every day its the same thing, he gets the kids ready for school and leaves for work, then when he comes home he cleans the entire house, i cook dinner but then he does the dishes, and by the end of the night he crashes on the sofa rather then coming to bed with me. I love him for all he does but he wont come sleep with me, and sometimes i really do want to show him how much i appreciate him. I have talked to him but his only replies are hes tired from working and chores all day or hes respecting me and giving me my space, whatever that means. I dont know what to do here... |
Question: What are men supposed to do when they are being constantly verbally abused by their wife? Posted: 02 Nov 2017 06:57 AM PDT Go to the bar? Take it like a man ans get on antidepressants for the pain? Put her in her place? Divorce her? Leave and don't come back? Get therapy and suffer in silence? Demand couples counseling? Verbally attack her back? I honestly don't know the socially acceptable answer to this. She's allowed to be angry at me but I'm not allowed to be angry at her. I even raise my voice or use hurtful words and she tells me it's unacceptable behavior and continues on to call me an adult child to verbally abuse me. I've tried to tell her it's unacceptable behavior like she does to me and she calls me a whiner baby or an adult child then says I deserve it because I don't act like a man... What the he'll does that mean?!?!?! I'm a year younger than her but sometimes I get the feeling that she wishes she married a man 10 or more years older than her because she doesn't respect me like she does older men (daddy issues?) What can I do? Last night we fought for the first time in over a year and I had so much pent up anger from her neglecting me and being an unsupportive co-parent to our kids that when she emotionally and physically pushed me I smacked her pretty hard. Morally, I feel real bad for doing it, but aggressively I feel like she deserved it for abusing me. But I hate myself for even thinking that way, I just have so much pent up anger. She isolated me so I have no one to talk about our problems, so my bottle just exploded... I don't know what to do. |
Question: Sex in exchange for pay raise / promotion need it so bad , should I? Posted: 02 Nov 2017 06:51 AM PDT He's an older guy I am 23 married broke and we are so in debt, he just came out with it! 'I guarantee you a big raise and promotion for a BJ then full sex, take it or leave it, there's others who will!' I'm torn between the money and the sex with him, I'm thinking do it and keep it a secret, but I don't want to he's horrid to look at, and it could cost me my marriage. Any women ever been here? Posted: 02 Nov 2017 03:57 AM PDT She said with a long day at work and then us making dinner getting kids bathed, she is tired. She said she doesn't have the energy for the process. I am like why didn't you say this years ago? Is it normal for a wife to just want to get it in, get there and it's ok? It was always in my head she wanted to kiss foreplay and all of that. Guess if I'm pleasing her then it doesn't matter. Any women say this is normal? |
Posted: 02 Nov 2017 03:43 AM PDT Wife and I are good ppl. We both work and have 2 little ones. When we get home there is a lot to do and we are tired. We usually talk when we finally sit down about our day. Recently I have been trying to listen and communicate more. She made me mad one night and I told her I have been trying and I don't feel like she is. She immediately was hurt and started to cry. She said she has been saying thank you for all the things that I have done. She has started to cook more because she knows I like cooked meals. I feel bad about this and not sure why I get this way. When we are alone and out, we dance together and have a great time. After a days of work I think the stress gets to us at times. Any advise here on how I can listen, communicate, and focus on positive verse negative? |

Posted: 02 Nov 2017 03:18 AM PDT Wife and I have 2 kids and she's preggo with our 3rd. Yes, life is tough. We have bills over our head, kids are hard at times, and there is little time to have dates or even alone time. We know things will never be like it was when we were dating, but it never seems terrible. Marriage is not what I expected and is hard work. I think ppl need to put more effort into it. Anyone else feel this way? |
Question: How common do you think it is for a man to want to treat his wife like a piggy in bed? Posted: 02 Nov 2017 02:57 AM PDT My husband humiliates me in different positions, pressures for different things, calls me names and slaps and has thrown me on the floor and the intercourse is very hard and fast...sometimes it hurts because he's well endowed. |

Posted: 01 Nov 2017 06:05 PM PDT Quran (2:223) - "Your wives are as a tilth unto you; so approach your tilth when or how ye will..." A man has dominion over his wives' bodies as he does his land. |
Question: Do you think all women should be introverted and all men should be extroverted? Posted: 01 Nov 2017 01:43 PM PDT My husband thinks all women should be introverted and that all men should be extroverted because the man is always in charge of initiating things with the woman by approaching her for conversation, asking her out on dates, proposing marriage, initiating sex, holding doors, etc. and that if a woman reverses things like most liberal feminists do, they get raped and abused like they deserve according to him. He thinks women should be submissive, timid, virginal, reserved, and passive as well as look average enough for men to feel more secure in approaching them, asking for dates, proposing marriage, initiating sex, holding doors, etc. by not being too beautiful (or even ugly). To him, if a woman is too beautiful, it will make good men feel insecure around them and that bad men will want them more. He even physically assaulted girls for approaching him and initiating conversations with him when he was in middle school, high school, and college which made girls intimidated by him which is why he never dated anyone before that due to his hypermasculine attitude in which he shames a guy letting a girl initiate things with him and enter his life by calling him a beta loser white knight like he does with some of his male colleagues since he reads radical masculinist MRA blogs and forums. My parents tolerate his attitude because they are conservative like he is and his family, though they married me off to him. Would you agree with him on this? I live in the South and there are a lot of strict gender roles. Men always pursue women, even happily married, engaged, and committed ones until they have husbands, fiances, and boyfriends beat them up and murder them and women who do the same end up being raped and abused. People think men should be dominant, superior, and in charge while women should be silent, submissive, and inferior. @Slavic Dude-It's because you're Slavic/Eastern European. Male dominance and superiority is the norm in your culture. Now that Trump is in office, men are starting to become feisty and dominant, thanks to current news of women lying about sexual assault and harassment. It's because they are being bold and aggressive with men by sexually assaulting them and harassing them. @MISOA-May I ask why defining rigid gender roles is a recipe for disaster? |
