I know im probably insane ad im only 15. also its not that I don't like my family, I actually happen to love my family. Ok, so I m 16 from Miami and my parents are divorced. My schedule with them is the weirdest thing, with my Mom taking up one week and and a half, and my Dad only takes up half of the week. Thing is, I m really uncomfortable at my Mom s and would like just one week with her, one with my dad and that s it. Apparently according to my Mom, not following the schedule is really bad, as she could get arrested for that. To me, this sounds like absolute bullshit, my Dad agreeing with me. So I have Lyme disease and POTS, it's hard for me to get outta bed and do things cuz if these sicknesses. First off I don't take handouts, nor ask for money...EVER. I moved out at 18, paid all my own rent, bills, books, car.....everything. 10 years ago my sister tried nursing school. I've been estranged from my dad since I moved out at 18. So around 2 years. He was a crappy dad and I gave up years ago on us having any sort of relationship. He was there for me, but always made a big deal out of being an actual dad. My parents broke up on my 5th birthday. My dad couldn't stick around and disappeared for several weeks. When he came back, he told me he'd considered not having anything to do with me and I should be grateful he decided to be a dad to me. Then my mom died shortly before my 6th birthday. Friend problem? Did I do wrong? I have been friends with a girl for 10 years and this last couple of years she has changed. There is a group of us and we always went to bars together and went on holiday and trips so we were close. In the past couple weeks I have found myself in situations where I needed to be picked up in the middle of the night but my dad was too drunk to pick me up. This only happened twice. The 2nd time, my grandpa (my mom s step-dad) picked me up and asked why my dad couldn t have picked me up and I told him why. He said, "Of course...does your dad drink a lot when he s alone?" I said I didn t know. Then he asked if I thought my dad had a drinking problem. I said I didn t know. But the past three days, I ve noticed either empty beer cans or my dad drinking beer at night. My dad is the single father of three teenage girls. I m 17 and my sisters are 16 and 14. Our mother passed away 4 years ago. My dad has struggled with depression and keeping a job the past few years. We had suspicions of him having a drinking problem before, but that was awhile ago and I completely forgot about it. I know he is under extreme stress financially but also emotionally. I know he s expressed feelings of lonliness, etc. plus with raising three teenage girls on his own. What can I do to help him? Should I talk to my grandparents (his parents) about it?

My parents were divorced when I was 4 years old. And I live with my father but it is not so good me and my brothers we raised each other. So every time I visit my mother I see my stepfather which I appreciate because I never had a dad there for me. We always chill with my mom and stepfather and alex (stepfather) tells me I see you as a daughter I tell him I see him as a father. Then everything is normal but then my mom comes. My grandma an i are close for 24 yrs. spent a lot of time with her. I'm 35. She has alzheimers, shes about 95 to 99 percent out of her mind. I want to be there for her 24/7 but the way she is an the living situations it's impossible. And for my own health, i couldn't handle the stresses. Still im sad an feel guilty an bad, after our bond that im letting her down. She has to go to a nursing home, an doesn't want to. I am lucky because my family is consists of Dad, his sister, her partner, my mom and her five brothers all of whom are married and have kids. I have a total of 5 older cousins and a dozen kids ones, and I have a sister. So I have support BUT I do want to be able to look back and know I made a life from my own work. I will graduate next year with a degree in Online Media Journalism and Creative Writing, I have a part time retail job but can move to full time if I'd like, and always save some of my paycheck and commuted all 4 years to a state school near home (I'm graduating at 23 because I was out critically sick a semester). I am getting major butterflies on what will I do? My dream is to become a writer of novels and comic books full time but I know as my only job that is unlikely so I want to get a real one that pays more than the retail one. My older cousins are between age 26-43 and have careers and homes, but that all graduated in the 90's during a booming economy and had lots of experience and one of them (26 year old) got a great job at the time they occasionally hire. I will work hard like they did but it seems like everywhere, including my state (Connecticut) is getting harder. I'm afraid what if I can't pay my insurance for my car, afford health insurance, pay rent or my fair share and feel accomplished, what if even though my parents said they even want me to stay with them as long to save and help them...I'm just scared. Ever since I was 13 (now 20) I have been getting in constant fights with my mom. She gets upset over small things, makes me feel bad about myself, and dosen't believe in my dreams. The only relief I have is when I talk to my mom's boyfriend about it, but even that isn't helping anymore. I really want to cut off all contact but I can't do that because she pays for my college, so the next best thing is to move out. Currently, I am studying abroad in a different country, which is something that I think my mother secretly didn't want me to do (even though I paid for it), so I am not constantly under her scrutiny/ toxic roof, but after I return never want to go back. How can I make a successful plan to move out? And what type of job pays the most (that dosent involve selling my body). I dont have a job right now, I am living off of scholarships. I am only 20 and I feel like I am constantly driving, working, going places, etc. I don't ever have time to just take for me. I have a dog sitting business and the week after Christmas I had 3 different clients (2 with 1 dog each, and 1 with 7 dogs) to take care care of each day. That involved a lot of driving, and quite a bit of work. I also have a boyfriend and I love spending time with him, but he doesn't have a vehicle yet so I am always driving to see him. I have another part-time 9-5 office job, and I go to school as well. I have a horse (we live on a farm) as well as chickens and a dog. My parents also bug me to come visit them more. (Due to personal family issues between us, I don't live with them anymore and don't visit as often as they'd like). I am currently in therapy. I don't really have any time to do yoga classes or anything like that :/ How can I relax and stop feeling so burnt out?!

My brother left for college August 12th. He lives in a different country that's on the west while I'm on the east. It takes a long plane ride to visit. He came on December 21st and stayed for 2 weeks. Tomorrow is January 6th and he's leaving again. I forgot how painful it was for him to leave.. I had to wait four months for him to come back. Now, he won't be visiting until May. That's 5 months! I'm not that close to him but he's my older brother. He makes me laugh when I'm sad, he takes care of me, he gets me stuff when he doesn't have to, he helps me with homework, he hangs out with me, etc. I look up to him because he just seems too perfect. I can still contact him by calling him on Facebook messenger. It just won't feel the same.. I bottle up my feelings when he's here and when he leaves I just let it explode. I feel like it affects my school work and relationships with friends and family. I just want to think positive but I guess it's too early for that.😞

Okay so guys as the question//title obviously states, I hate my grandpa. And it's come to the point where I'd rather shoot myself then be around him (I'm not being over dramatic I seriously feel this way). So here's my situation : I live in quite a small house with my grandparents (dads side) and my mom and younger brother, my dad passed away a few years ago. And my grandma works in the Blue Mountains (place in Australia) from Wednesday's to Saturday's. She stays at her workplace so she isn't home for very long. And she's only home from Saturday till Wednesday evening, when she leaves for work. My mom works everyday except Wednesday's so she's not home that often either, so it's just me, my brother and of course, my grandpa. He critisizes everything move I make and is constantly pestering my younger brother because it's "fun". Now the thing I hate most about him is the fact that he's two faced. At home I have lots of pretty heated arguments with him over a lot of things which usually leads to me storming into my room and locking the door. But that's not all oh no, he waits until my mom or grandma gets home and then he would come out when my mom//grandma and I are in the same room and then bed start yelling at me again repeating the things he said earlier (leaving all the heavy things he said out and then changing everything I said). So obviously my mom or grandma would then get involved and ask me what happened blah blah blah. Then, he takes this opportunity to bring up More things that have happened weeks ago and then re telling them in his own version. So then my mom//grandma would obviously start yelling at me as well for whatever reason it may be. And what he does that ticks me off is that he agrees with EVERYTHING they say. He'd just stand there and say things Luke 'yeah' or 'exactly!'. Then after whoever is telling me off finishes, he isn't satisfied, so he brings up MORE things which most are just mere moments that he's blown up into a full scale problem Now, insulting me in our home just isn't enough for him. Whenever we go to one of my younger cousins house for a party or something he always sits with the adults and say "Oh Angela's so badly behaved" or "She never listens to me and always does ____". What he also does is low-key isult my mom too. He blames a lot of things on her, like my dads death for example, so whenever she's around he puts on an act or sorts but when she's off to work or out doing something, he always says things like "Oh your moms out partying, she's out with friends" Or some crap like that. Oh did I mention he cheats in my grandma too? She knows, so does my mom. She goes to some perverted chat site or **** and talks to other women in another country. Honestly there's too much to even type out and I just needed to vent to someone sorry if I bothered anyone

i think I have the rights to say that I despise my mother. she verbally abuses me, and calls me horrible names that I won't say. she even hits, pulls my hair, and punches me when I do things wrong. and one time she gave me a nosebleed and there was a big puddle of blood on the floor. my dad yelled at my mom to clean it, but she made me clean it... for instance, if I don't do the dishes or something she wants she'll abuse me verbally. I one time tried to call the police and she took the phone away from me and smacked me. her side of the family is hispanic, therefore they believe in hitting their children in this way. so I can't confront them about it. and my dad is white and doesn't agree that she does that. but, if he were to say something she'll verbally abuse him too. so, I wouldn't blame him when he keeps his mouth shut. I feel like the verbal abuse it far worse than her hitting me, and it goes on every single day. (luckily, she does not hit me everyday.) my mom also gives my younger sister permission to beat me for anything at anytime. i have a huge gash from my younger sister on my back and right hand. my dad is used to it as it has been going on since I entered the world. they treat me like a outsider and I'm not allowed to fight back or talk back. for my sister, I'm sure I can hide this stupid stuffed animal she is obsessed with, and as for my mom, I'm thinking about threatening to let all the neighbors know? I voluntarily gave my mom temporary guardianship of my 3yo in October, 2015, because I was about to become homeless and my mother and I living together is put of the question. My older sister and I have never really got along. To be honest I m not really sure what s caused it. She rolls her eyes, scowls and makes exasperated noises to anything I say and makes fun of my appearance. When provoked my these things my mum wants me to ignore it and gets really angry and upset if I react and the scene escalates. This has gone on for years. We didn't know it but when I told my mother that this girls late grandfather knows my maternal grandmother she said "they are cousins" and so this girl's father and my mother are 2nd cousins who met a few times over the years. So since she and I are third cousins does that make it wrong or is it only wrong if we were actual 1st cousins? The only family that was first cousin was our grandparents so I only know her through school though my mother remembers her father a little bit from reunions.

I'm not sure if I can still call it that since I'm still living at home. I'm finishing college and saving up to move out. Ever since I turned 20 a few years ago she started behaving this way. When I have to go into school on a day off because of assignments or something she gets mad. Its not because I had family obligations on those days because I pay attention to that. She gets upset if I cook for myself, buy myself things, hang out with friends after work, do my own laundry. I'm in my mid twenties, I should be doing this stuff for myself. I would expect her to be getting angry if I wasn't. I also clean, shop and take my turn at cooking dinner. I also contribute to rent and other bills. But she gets mad at all of this. I'll be making plans for work she'll go off on how I'm being taken advantage of. Even though I have called out people out for this in the past. But according to her she's right and says she doesn't care what I say, that's what's going on. Of course she's my mom and I love her and appreciate everything she's done. But she pushes curfews, bedtimes and acting like I'm a bullied child. I've tried talking to her, telling her I'm fine and she should have fun with dad. Like going on that trip to Florida they've been talking about for years. But she'll yell at me and start sobbing and call me ungrateful. I just don't know what to do. I've tried talking to her, maybe try speaking to someone else about this. But she doesn't see any of this as a problem. Just in case this comes up my mom does not act like this because I've had any kind of previous problems in my past that would require some sort of this type of structure even as an adult. I do not make messes or problems when I do my chores around the house. I get them done to the standard expected and when their expected to be done. My dad has tried to talk with her but has gotten similar reactions to what I have. I have tried to talk with her numerous times and understanding as possible. But she will sometimes get incredibly nasty with me. Such as accusing me of not really being in school and saying I'm off doing drugs or name any horrible thing a parent could find out their kid is doing short of seriously hurting another person and she's accused me of it. What really makes me puzzled is despite her going through all this because of me being old enough to take care of myself and getting ready to move out, she uses throwing me out of the house as a threat to try and make me do as she says. My older brother is in the same situation but does not take it as smoothly. He takes her behavior as insulting, and a complete disregard for his and my feelings when she TELLS us how we feel. Like when I don't mind helping dad with something she says she doesn't care that I say I don't mind, she KNOWS I'm feeling taken advantage of and says I should yell at my dad, yes YELL not talk. Even though do not mind helping dad. My brother expects to be treated as an adult and also helps out like me.

Hello friends My marriage is love marriage . we were in love since 10 years then got married. Our relationship was best.but after marriage I feel that he is no more interested. He speaks very less with me saying that he doesn't have topic. He doesnt share anything. If I ask him question he doesn't like it.if I try to complain about these problem camly, he says , Dont irritate me. He is always excited to spend time with his friends, but never offer me a single drive. He is even never hasty to sleep with me. Now I m at my parents place for my delivery. I m away from him but only I m suffering in his absence. He is happy with his routine and friend. He is always too busy to speak with me. Friends, I love him so much and Dont want to loose him . I m just expecting emotional support from him. Plz help me to save my marriage. Waiting for your answers

My dad was a deadbeat towards me. He barely spent time with me some people in his family didn't know I exist. He treated me like dirt putting other kids before me. Giving my presents to the other children and not buying me a Christmas gift. He confessed that is lonely with his wife because of their children. He admitted that he is still in love with my mother. He was so heartbroken when my mom left he treated me like carp. I graduated high school with 26 credits. Made State Forensics twice, went to college and moved out of State. Now he wants to brag and come around but the kids he put before me are prostitutes.

I'm an extreme introvert, but unfortunately for me, I live in a 2 bedroom house with 4 other people. I share a room with one of my siblings, and someone comes bursting in every 5 seconds, I don't have a lock on my door, and the living room and kitchen are out of the question as my siblings are usually in there fighting if they're not bugging the living **** out of me, (and they are so loud, earbuds can't drown out them fighting.) We have a huge backyard, but unfortunately it's also rather loud out there, due to the 15 chickens who live there, and it's too cold to sit out there for more than 5 minutes anyways. I literally just want like an hour of peace so I can watch Netflix, help?!

My dad listens to these radio shows like Jeff rense and David duke they say really weird things like the Jews are taking over America they controll the media and your thoughts weird things like that. He listens to them when he's falling asleep and leaves them on all night he's always reading Jeff rense website and it's kind of creepy that stuff seeps into his brain and he believes them they might be right. We watched this crazy hitler movie and it was really weird like it's too long to explain and he said it got banned because it exposed the real Jews and it was hard to find but are these people right? Are they making my dad crazy or smart? I feel like sometimes the things he says are a little too much but still are they lying to my dad and making him crazy?

My mother has been verbally abusive for years and recently over the past couple months has become physically abusive as well. Everything I've learned about abuse in school was to tell somebody, and I have but they just apologize and they don't give me any options on what to do or any advice. It sucks because I'm 15 so I'm a dependent minor and I cant escape from any of it, I don't have anywhere else to go, I can't leave because im not an adult in an abusive relationship, this is my own mother. I've told my teacher, my youth pastor at church, and some of my closest friends. They just listen without looking me in the eyes and tell me that they're sorry and that everything's going to be ok, but honestly for me that isn't enough. I have an abusive mother and I don't understand why nobody actually helps and they only express pity?

When I was about 4 my cousin, who was 8, used to make me stay under a blanket so he could molest me. He also would trap me in my room and make me strip... My parents would check on us every hour or so. They never thought anything because we were so young, cousins and they were just a room over. I never told them. I would see him on holidays and birthdays. We moved 2 states away and now he is coming to stay with us for a month. I'm freaking out. I want to tell my parents but I'm scared mainly because I don't want to ruin our family by telling them. I don't think it would ever happen again. So should I tell my parents? Or Would there even be a point? It was so long ago and I don't think it would happen again. I'm 18 now, he's 22. A lot is different....

Last year I found out my mom still claims me on her taxes and is still receiving money for me from my dads death. I asked her if she could help me out with college and she said she can't afford it. If that's the case I want to know where all this money is going to. Do I have that right? My father passed away when I was 13 and I haven't lived with her since I was 15. I was also informed that once 18 I should've received a card with the money coming to me. I was a daddy's girl and me and my mom started bumping heads when I found out after he passed that she was cheating the whole time. I don't feel like she deserves that money and college is something I've always wanted. I just need advice and opinions.

Okay, so my dad used to chew tobacco, I got addicted after trying it, without him knowing. He stopped chewing it now so I have none! Where can I buy it, how much is the chewing tobacco usually and how old do you have to be to buy it? I'm only 13. Thanks.

My dad thinks im heartless because when my grandmother got ill (she's 80-90) I didn't show care at all. I know that i probably am but i did something really stupid when i was younger, i chose to shut my feelings so that i would stop crying. See i was a huge crybaby when i was younger and i soon started to feel that crying was a sign of weakness which led to me shutting out my feelings. It's not that im incapable of caring or feeling I've just seem to have shut out my feelings towards family especially ones on my father's side (including him) as i never had a good impression of them. I still care for my mother, my brother, my mother's side of the family and all my friends. So am i considered heartless or is this something else?
