I recently was at a wedding. After dancing started at the reception, I saw a bridesmaid go up to another bridesmaid while she was still sitting at her table and reiterate while making a beckoning gesture, "Come to the dance floor!" The bridesmaid eventually got up and followed her to the main floor and started dancing. I have a feeling that the bridesmaid who was convinced to dance really didn't want to altho she was smiling while dancing. Going up to someone and telling them [many times] to get on the dance floor would still be forcing someone into dancing, right?
