I hate soccer, but my mom said she will buy me anything if I continue just one more year. Should I take her up on that offer? Its not that I am bad at soccer, its just that I am not having as much fun as I used to. Anyways, should I say yes? I have been wanting a macbook for a while now. However, I don't want to be spoiled or bratty or anything like that and I would probably feel awful. I mean, this happened last year for a different cause and she got me a dog I asked for. So my iMac Late 2009 27 inch is slow so I decided to just smash it and so basically i took it outside and smashed it with a baseball bat hard and the glass panel smashed off then i used a crowbar and ripped the screen off and then i was inside so i turned on the computer to torture it while i smashed it and i used my crowbar and ripped the speakers out while it was on and then i smashed the power supply over and over with the baseball bat and then i used a crowbar and pried the hard drive out and spit on it and smashed it open and smashed the platter to nothing then i grabbed the motherboard out with my bare hands and smashed it in half with my bare hands then i bit the optical drive and bit it apart then i ate the bluetooth card (it's really small) then i flushed the wifi card down the toilet then i took the cpu out of its socket and also flushed it down the toilet  and i took the graphics card and draw on it with a sharpie

She has braces and she made me mad because I added pork to the pot roast and she opened the crock pot and had a fit. My daughter is 14 and I'm tired of her not getting good hygiene reports from the orthodontist. She also is moody constantly and I told her today that her upper lip smells bad since she claimed that the pork smells bad. I should win an award for being a good mom. What do you think? She also is an introvert which drives me insane and embarrasses me. I wish she would read more, play a sport, and drop 15 pounds. All I can ever be is rude to my mother. Something about her just ticks me off and I can't find a bone in my body that feels any sympathy for her or cares how what I say affects her. I just hate her. My whole family keeps telling me that I'm a bad person and need to change my way of talking to her. It's always me that has to change but never her. She is a helicopter parent and never stops telling me what I have to do next. I just want her out of my life for good. I know I will only ever truly be happy if that's the case. I'm tired of living in this household. I live with six younger siblings and a mom. ITS HELL. I can say something harmless and my mom would blow it all out of proportion saying that I need to pray and things like that... She makes it seem like I'm some type of rebel or something. Just today I had to wash my younger sisters, they kept playing around and I told them stop. Then my mom start saying how I mentally and verbally abuse them, guys I'm not even like that! If you ask anyone to describe my mother in law Jill, they most probably would say "beautiful". If someone ask me to describe Jill, I would say she is the best mother in law any guy can have. She is always there if my wife and I need help with anything and she is the nicest person you will ever meet. One day at work, she came by to ride home with me. I introduced her to some of my co workers. The next day these co workers asked me if she was married. I told then no. They ask me if I would fix them up with a date with Jill. I told them someone as beautiful as Jill did not need her son in laws help getting dates. She can get all the dates she wants without anyone's help. My co workers then ask me if I would bring her to the bonus day party they were having after work next week so they could get to know her better. I don't know if I should do that. They would enjoy the party more if she was there as she is really a fun person to be around. Do you think a woman would be interested in guys that are a least 10 years younger than she is? Should I stay out or her love life and ignore their request even if there are some real great guys that want to get to know her better? What should I do?

I am recovered from an eating disorder and have noticed signs from my sister. She forgets to eat breakfast unless someone reminds her (yesterday she was up from 6am to 9:30 before my mom asked her if she had eaten and when she said no my mom made her). On days where we are home alone you basically have to force her or remind her to get up at make herself lunch. She never snacks, once stood in front of the mirror when I was getting ready and commented how she has huge thighs (she skinnier than me) and once told me she likes the way it feels to be hungry (it feels nice to her) she also gets defensive when I try to get her to eat something and my mom yells at me for trying to project my feelings onto her.

The funeral is not local so would Involve traveling tinvolve traveling too Virginia from Texas. My Dad is not the sentimental type so he is against going to funerals unless a terrible tragic death like a teen or an immediate family member like a grandparent. My teenage daughter, Mackenzie refusing to talk to me and avoiding eye contact with me ever since that incident at our local Panera Bread. In my defense, I am the most important customer and I deserve the best gosh darn chicken noodle bread bowl in that entire establishment. I had every right to complain. Her father mistreats me and he's made my life complete hell. I don't look the same, I don't feel the same and I don't act the same. Carrying his child makes me resentful and full of regret towards him and the baby. I don't love her, sometimes I hope she's born still born so that I can move on with my life. All I want is my happiness back, my peace of mind back, my nice body back, my freedom back, my looks back before he stressed me and aged me by a few years. And I have to pretend to strangers,  nurses and doctors, my family and the child's father that I'm happy to become a mom and I'm not. I'm miserable and wishes she wasn't living anymore.

This is the first time I've had an estranged family member. When we have to see them at a place like a wedding which this will be I never know do we speak to them or just refuse to say a word. We fell out after I had had enough with her bullying and I finally grabbed her by the shoulders and told her to grow up and called her the B word. We both were acting like kids but I've had it with her verbal abuse.  I've seen her twice cents and she's refused to say anything other than the word hi and "retard move you car" when she was trying to leave on Christmas Eve.  Olivia:  I tried that at Thanksgiving and she was the immature pre-teen.

I realized my sister smelled when we worked together. I realized it wasn't the homeless patients that smelled, but her. My sisters been clean her whole life but once she started smoking indoors/living with her extremely dirty boyfriend she stopped trying. Her clothes are left on the floor to be peed on by cats, her house is full of cigarette smoke. Washing her clothes in her neighbors equally dirty yard doesnt help one bit! She wears these clothes to work...She also stopped brushing her teeth! this is the girl that used to have a tip top shape room, and wouldnt even let me eat one french fry in her car. I recently helped her move out of her bad situation which would have been awesome but she KNOWINGLY shoved stuff in my brand new car that she KNEW had been peed on by stray cats as well wet clothes that had gotten moldy. My car now STINKS and when I brought it up she's acting like Im the b**. Shes ungrateful of me helping her to the point that she HOLLERED at me. It made me SOOO ANGRY that she was screaming at me for trying to clean some of her stinky items that I end up shoving the rag I was using in her face which Im not proud of. She also totally denies that my car smells bad now and I even explained that I was just looking for appreciation that I let her use my new car for moldy crap. I apologized and she never did. I dont want to hate her. I bought her bandaids for her infection. But she wont say thank you. Or sorry. I want her to be back to normal. And she hates me now

He hasn't had one in 6 years. I'll be graduating high school in a few months and I just got my first job back in October at a trampoline park. I feel like he's making it harder than it has to be and is just lazy. My mom and is his mom plus his brother have called him out on it but I feel like he hears it coming from his son it'll hit him harder. My mom recently asked me a hypothetical question about leaving him and I think this is a big reason. She is currently working two jobs and my grandma ( his mom) lives with us and she works. I feel so bad about it but my father in law helps us out with our kids a lot and I see him everyday and he's just so confident and  upbeat. He makes me feel so safe and secure when he is around. My mother in law passed away 12 years ago and he has never dated anybody else. He says she was the love of his life. He has hinted in the past about wanting to start dating again. The poor guy has been without anybody for 12 years and he still has a lot of life in him. He is 63-64.

When I was 7, my dad got drunk again and threw me across the room. This was common, but this time the china cabinet broke all over me. My sister had just turned 18. She walked in the door at that exact moment. I will never forget the look in her eyes as she scooped me up and put me in the car and brought me to the hospital calmly telling my parents to get away from me. Relevant point is my sister is a clean 6 feet tall, maybe taller, she would never admit being taller haha. She insisted on a plastic surgeon and my scars are minimal. I often wonder about the bills. At that point, she went to college part time, working full time as a waitress. By 19, she got a two bedroom apartment and convinced my parents to let me live with her. She did literally everything the best of mothers would do for a kid. She made my lunch, paid for music lessons, summer camp, encouraged (realistic) dreams. Now, I'm 30 and my sister is 41. She paid for my college and deposit on my own first apartment in my early 20s. She has two small children and is married (she waited until she was 35 to get married and I know it is because of me even though she would never admit it). What can I do to thank her? I have never acknowledged it really other than to tell her I'm lucky to have her, to which she always just says something like "oh honey, are you feeling all right? you always deserved better than such a sad sack". I want her to know that I know how lucky I am to have her and I didn't deserve it.

So my sister has this boyfriend for quite a long time, and when he met my dad, he was late and didn't even apologise, and when my dad asked about his family( birthdays, occupation etc) he said he didn't know, and he was always scoffing at my family at the dinner table. So my dad wasn't happy about that, the day after he broke up with my sister and said that because my family was rude to him, but couple days after he changed his mind again and starting dating my sister again.  So my family doesn't want him to come to out house but my sister always invites him, my mom is out of town Rn and she invited him again, in my house, and it's just my sister, him and me. I walked down stairs and he didn't even greet me. What should I do ?  I confronted the boyfriend, the main difficulty between my parents and him are cultural difference, and the boyfriend said that the end point of their relationship is to get married, and he will do it no matter what, even if my parents disagree.

Okay so when i go to school the worse part of my day is going home i really want to live somewhere else right now school is not going good (I'm on probation) and when i get home its worse i live with my 20 year old brother who takes care of me and sister and other brother because my mom passed away and my dad is in jail and he blames me for literally everything for him quitting his job and he always says stuff like "you were being bad before mom died" and like i know he has a lot to take care of . when i get home i get yelled at for being tardy or literally the smallest things ever like one time it was around 9:00 and i asked to go outside and he just started yelling at me and he took my phone there's even times he will get so mad he slaps me i don't know what to do please help. Every year on my birthday, my parents give me $1000. We'll both of them have birthdays coming up next month, and I am at a loss for what to get them. Anytime I ask them what they want they always say "Nothing, just your presence, we don't need anything, have you seen our house?" They really don't need anything, but still. I'm ready to just give them money! Also, this will be the first year in a LONG time that I will actually be able to get them something, as I just got a job that pays me very well. I'm in my mid 20s.  My mom found out I was dating through some next level snooping. Anyway she has said nothing but nasty things about my boyfriend and she has never even met him. She actually refuses to meet him. I met his parents and great aunt and am going with him to a big family party on his moms side.  We have known each other for years and he has an awesome job and keeps getting raises and promotions. I love him so much.   My last boyfriend died and it was so hard on me, so i feel it is especially insensitive of my mom to push away  and try and tarnish my current boyfriend.  To make matters worse, my mom has brainwashed my teenage sibling to back her up with screaming fury. They are so toxic I want to get away from my family (I live on my own but mom and sibling always seem to show up at my apartment) but they insist I am just "boy crazy".  They don't see that their rudeness is what drives me to someone who is actually loving.

I'm 20 years old I live with my parents. I am currently a college student almost done with school working part time and being a full time student. The thing is rent is way to expensive right now to live by myself I want to save up as much money as I can right now that I'm young and help out my parents. The thing is the first floor is me, my nephew, and my parents I feel so tight In my room and no privacy at all. I am grateful for being here. In the basement my brother lives there along with his two kids the second floor we rent to a couple so the only thing available would be the attic. The attic needs a lot of remodeling it needs a bathroom, walls, floors, etc. my boyfriend however says to save that money that I'm putting into the attic to soon move in together and save up as much as I can for a house. My mom has a agreed that I need my space and suggest for me to move up in the attic and just help out with rent. I know it sounds dumb but with school money is tight I know I can't live off alone. What should I do?  I would obviously be the one paying for the remodeling not my parents.

SewMy dad took me to the gym about a few werms ago, and since I'm already fit and a fast learner I quickly got the memo and set my own schedule. The problem is he always wants to do the exercises with me and it irritates him when I dont want to. I have this kind of attitude. I'm very self centered when I work out, because I mean business and I only want to focus on my movements, breath, pace, etc. I dont care for partnership and I can tell it bums him out. This is the same for my boyfriend. I love them dearly, but I don't want to be held back or wait. What should I do? So* weeks* my keyboard is acting funny

My mother and I share a duplex style house (living room bedroom n bathroom on one side & 2bdrm a living room and bthrm on the other side)  that is joint by the kitchen and we split the bills in half (I'm 26). She has 2 dogs, one of them being a husky that sheds rediculously and lately we've been arguing so much and I feel bad but she literally lets the dog all over the kitchen so when I go to cook there is dog hair everywhere even on things in the fridge and I can't use the washer and dryer because she doesn't clean it after she uses it and it's filled with dog hair and dirt. I'm not sure how to handle this situation but I am halfways through my pregnancy and I desperately want to move out and start a family of my own with the father of my child but I know she won't be able to handle the bills on her own because it's tough now for her with just the half of everything. What am I to do I am an adult but I feel trapped like I would be leaving her down and out; this living situation is so stressful on me plus the arguing Is just making me so depressed. You are right, dog hair might not kill me but everyone doesn't like it everywhere especially where they have to cook and eat.
