I lied about something that I thought was minor, but it turned out to be really serious to her. We havent talked in 2 weeks. Last time we talked she walked away mid conversation. It seemed like she was really hurt and angry by the situation . So I did apologize and I have been giving her space. I noticed that she keeps looking at me at work. Alot of times are when she thinks my back is turned. I am sure she stills likes me, but it seems like she is trying to get my attention. The other day I saw her when she was leaving. I was upfront near the registers. So looked at me she was walking from the employee area. Then before she walked out the door I saw her turn her head and look at me out the corner of her eye. Then she stopped herself before she was fully out the door and came back in the store. Then she walked over the customer service desk and said bye to someone. The thing is they wasnt paying attention, so she had to get thier attention. Then she looked over at me again and then walked out the door. It was just werid to me it was like . She wanted to get one last look at me before she left for the day. She is off work for the next couple of days. I wont see her again for a week. However, we were young and lost so we decided to just stay friends. Recently, we met up for coffee after a 4 year hiatus. We had more fun interacting during our outing than we had in the past.There was something very different this time. It felt like we were attracted to each other. When we were leaving he asked "Would you want to do this again sometime soon?" I told him I would love to, but we didn't plan a day to get together. Later that day he texted to tell me he had a great time. I concurred. We've been texting more often during the past couple days than we had before. Usually we just meet up for coffee, tell each other it was nice to see each other and move on. Now it seems we are more connected. Another important thing to note is that he just got over a suicide attempt and landed in the hospital. This made me want to stay closer to him. However, when we text he doesn't seem fully present. Better for me to let him come to me when he wants to talk? I don't want him to think that I'm trying to push a relationship, because I value his friendship above anything else & I know that he is still trying to get through the rough patch in his life. Last time i did, i heard he was drugged and when i saw him, something was off about him. He didn't recognize me until 30mins after sitting next to me.. that was a summer I'll never forget.. he gave me so many motivational speeches then would lose hisself and stair is space.. felt like i lost my brother.. Today i found out he is schizophrenic , been in and out of psych homes.. and was missing for over a months and then showed up at his moms house like it was nothing.. have attacked family because he didn't recognize them etc.. I'm just now finding all of this out.. no one wants to take on helping him.. Out of all my family in that state.. if i could i swear i would be by his side..
