Question: What should i name the star i bought? ? Posted: 30 Jan 2020 04:25 PM PST i bought a star on groupon for my friends birthday. i think it would be a bit more personal if i named the star. her name is Josephine, she's trans and likes poetry, tacos and ikea furniture. any suggestions for what i should name the star? it doesnt have to reference anything about her if it sounds super cool. |
Question: Why do my classmates like annoying classmates but hate the only chill one (me)? Posted: 30 Jan 2020 04:04 PM PST I'm a male sophomore in high school and I have these annoying people in make class who seem to act as if they are on crack. Then two of them have these annoying hi-pitch voices and they be non-stop talking, but if I was to make any move they are so quick to start problems with me. Also, I was about to sit in the seat with my friends but then this girl got in a seat and told me "NO YOU ARE NOT SITTING HERE". So then her henchman came around and the same girl said: "Yes please sit here because I don't like him". Yet I never did anything to her and I'm a laid back person who only stand my ground only if necessary. However, I have random friends that I randomly speak to (mostly upperclassmen) but I like to be alone most of the time and yet people still tend to try to bother me and it's mainly that same girl or another squeaky voice girl telling me to "MOOVE". I did want to go to the regular highschool with my regular friends and my girlfriend but I was forced to go to this early college high school with crazy people I really don't understand, so please help me understand these people, I would really appreciate it. replace the make with "my" i dunno why why correct messed me up |
Question: How do some people deal with fake people so well? Posted: 30 Jan 2020 03:20 PM PST I cant deal with fake people. They get under my skin and I go absolutely crazy For those who can tolerate fake friends/coworkers... how do you do it? |
Question: This is stupid and I guess she just likes those songs? Posted: 30 Jan 2020 02:44 PM PST this is stupid but one of my friends have song that have quiet on it. And I thought it meant that she was thinking about me but I guess it doesn't mean anything I guess she just likes the song. But on her playlist she has quiet hearts, it's oh so quiet & quiet storm |

Question: Is this rude or am I too sensitive? Posted: 30 Jan 2020 10:51 AM PST At dinner with friends somehow I admitted that I sometimes cry while watching the popular tv show "Shark Tank". At first they picked and made fun... understandable, but I tried explaining it was because I felt happy for the success of those on the show getting a deal! One of my friends responded TWICE with the comment "That's not normal, you probably need to be on mood stabilizers." I tried defending myself, hurt I responded by saying that "If I need medication because I have empathy, then you're cold hearted." her only response was to say that "no one ever said I wasn't." I feel like her saying this was rude and insensitive. I do not have any mental health issues that would require me to be on medication (not that there is anything wrong with anyone who does), but I felt this was cold and out of line. Am I being too sensitive or what? Give me some perspective. |
Question: Should I call my friend? Posted: 30 Jan 2020 09:34 AM PST We got into a big fight, it was just kind of a misunderstanding. I want to talk it out so bad, but she's really mad. It's been 4 days since she message me (when we talk every day) I want to at least send her a message, but I'm so scared she'll just end up blocking me. I'm not really sure what to do. I miss my friend, and I just want her to talk to me again. |
Question: Why does he behave like this? Posted: 30 Jan 2020 08:57 AM PST Just to make things clear from the start: I have a bf and the guy in question has a gf as well. From my part, I'd never cheat on my bf and I feel like the guy wouldn't do it as well. There's this guy from college that is an acquaintance of mine. We meet due to a little "accident" I had. I've always noticed he's very nice and polite. If we cross paths, he'll say "Hi -myname-". A totally normal action that I never thought much of. Then sometimes if he's behind me, even if away, he'll catch me up to ask why I'm looking sad (???) or, if we happen to be going to the same place, have a little chit chat. Once again, he seems to be a generally nice person so I'm not thinking that "Oh he's doing this because he's totally into me". Point is, I did notice that when he is with his gf or with his friends, even if he passes right through me, he'll ignore me for good. I totally get him ignoring me when his gf is with him, but why pretend to not know me when his friends are around? Do they not like me even if they don't know me? Idk... I don't understand because everytime I come across an acquaintance of mine, I'll greet them regardless if I am alone or with my friends/bf. Is there a polite way to ask him this without it looking weird? I'm just curious about it. |
Question: How do i deal with this?!? Posted: 30 Jan 2020 08:26 AM PST How do you deal with being in love with your best friend when you know he doesnt love you back?! He likes this girl he talks to online hes never met. I say love you to him as a friend and he will either like the message or say "appreciate you too". His brother is my other best friend and my best friend used to like one of my close girlfriends. |

Question: Is it true all men think about having sex with their female friends? ? Posted: 29 Jan 2020 09:27 PM PST A while ago I was watching one of those annoying "ask reddit" videos and it was about men answering women's questions and one guy said that "every male friend you have has definitely thought about having sex with you". That really surprised me. All of my friends are 18 to 19 year old guys (I'm a 17 year old girl) and they never make any kind of insinuations or anything that might make me think that, aside from one really. But I was planning on going camping with them and my Dad said I wasn't allowed to go because "I've been a teenage boy and I don't want my daughter around that". So is that really a real thing then??? I know it must vary from person to person but it sounds so strange. |
Question: Why would someone try to reach out to me after not talking to each other for 15 years? Posted: 29 Jan 2020 09:23 PM PST This girl I haven't talked to or seen in 15 years has been reaching out to my brothers and sisters on facebook, asking about me...Isn't this odd? Keeps asking my brothers & sisters if we could get back in touch. but why after 15 years? Why now? |
Question: How do you know that something is a sign to start changing your lifestyle? Posted: 29 Jan 2020 08:40 PM PST Today three things hit me repeatedly over and over again. In the morning I dreamed about my brother and his kids who I have stopped seeing for half a year. After I woke up I see a text from one of my best friends telling me he hopes I am doing okay. He said he was sorry he hasn't visited me for a while but that he was here if I needed to talk about anything. Then tonight one of my friends from high school called me out at Wal-Mart. He asked for my phone number. Why did all of this happen in one day? Is it a sign to change? I had already made plans to stay away from everybody in my past. I wanted to "find myself". |
Question: Did marilyn Monroe’s friends like her? ? Posted: 29 Jan 2020 07:57 PM PST I had read where she had trouble keeping friends. Why is that? |

Question: Moving out of State. Should I see this friend one last time? Posted: 29 Jan 2020 06:59 PM PST Im moving out of state in less than two weeks. I met him at work and we became good friends and hung out every other week or so. Both 25 years old. But there came a time since the summer that they transferred me to a different building (same company). And he would non stop text me complaining about work. He would find ANYTHING to cry about. For months id get long texts of him complaining and whining about the smallest of things. NON. STOP. BI#CHING! 80% of his texts were negative about work. Usually i understand venting but he crossed the line. I basically texted him last week to "stop complaining and bitching about work. You have it better than any other job and get paid well, no job is perfect ever. Enough, i dont want to hear it." Havent heard from him since. Hes obviously butt hurt and cant take criticism or honesty from people. But im moving very very soon. He knows im leaving. Ill be gone forever. Should i hit him up to see him one more time? Or should I leave it at that?! |
Posted: 29 Jan 2020 05:58 PM PST my lifestyle doesn't correlate with obese slobs. and many of them are lazy so it hard to hang out with lazy people. my friend said that I am too judgmental and that looks shouldn't be the main reason |
