There's a school photography club that I starting attending last year, and due to the lack of participation of our older students, I am the longest-standing member. It's not really a big, important club, but it's very important to me. The adult supervisor from last year, Andy, gave the the title equivalent to 'head' to my three friends, before he switched to another school. According to them, he gave it to them only because they were the last ones in the room(I had to leave early to catch the bus.). They're much more involved than they were last year, but I am still the biggest contributor.  I want to be a head too, but it's really awkward to ask. I don't want to lose them as friends by being selfish, but I feel left-out of activities in which I want, and feel that I deserve, an equal say. Am I being selfish? If not, how do ask in a non-confrontational way?  I'm afraid that if I do ask them about joining them as head, they'll say that 'Andy gave only us the position, sorry', which would result in a very awkward situation. Again, am I being selfish? Or am I overthinking things?  Thanks! -M

Today we had are field trip an we went to the Maine Maritime Museum where they have boats an stuff. Me an Stephen was jokeing around an having lotsa fun! I farted an was puckering up to poop so me an Stephen went to the bathroom an we was jokeing an stuff an I on accident forgot to pull my pants down before I say on the toilet an took a crap in my pants. I was mortafied an throwed away my undershorts an the terds but I had manure all over my butt an my legs an inside my jeans! The whole rest of the day everyone was laughing at me an calling me terd head an poop face an I was humiliated! Tiffany said I stunk allfull an she ended up barfing in a garbage can!  Total drama queen!  My manure doesn't stink! This stuff always happens to me!  I want to be treated with respect an I want to have a gf cause all them girls at school is in love with me but won't admit it!

She thinks it's nothing wrong with sleeping with guys she doesn't know, wearing revealing clothes, dancing sexual, being a prostitute, being a stripper, dating a different guy every week. She thinks it's nothing wrong with her behavior. Her sisters are like that too. Her parents are weird. They never call her out on her behavior. They encourage it.

I'm normally super conservative. I don't wear low cut shirts or booty shorts (not that there's anything wrong with that). I have size c boobs, they aren't droopy. I really want to go braless in public because my boobs have been bothering me, and simply because I want to. I'm only concerned about my nips acting up.   My friend said that I'd look like an attention slut. I told her whatever, but she got me thinking... do random strangers like yourselves really judge girls who go braless in public? If so, what are the passing judgements?

I recently had a falling out with my old group of friends and have been on tinder looking for new friends. I'm really into art and music and have kind of specific interests so when I find someone who has pretty much the exact same taste as me/we hang out a few times and we seem generally on the same wavelength I get excited because I think I've finally found a friend. Then right as I get my hopes up the person suddenly becomes consistently unavailable, and while I play it cool and just tell them to hmu whenever they're available, they never get back to me. It's for real the epitome of saying "we should hang sometime" and the other person saying "oh yeah for sure!" And then y'all never talk again. I've been fairly patient and have tried to not seem to eager. But I feel like people take me hitting them up on occasion w sincere plans as me being too eager. Nobody ever reciprocates and hits me up with plans. While I can take an L and accept it if someone just straight up isn't feeling it, people continuously send me mixed signals so I don't know what to conclude. How can I get people to hang out with me?

My friend is a 24 year old male. He lives in a yurt outside his parents house. He tells me that his cat sometimes brings mice into the yurt from outside. My friend says hes killed a couple, because he doesnt want them loving in the yurt. He told me that one time he caught one. So he took it outside, and threw it outside as hard as he could. This is what concerns me. One time he said he caught one, and he got really mad so, he threw it into a bowl of water, and let it drown. I showed some concern to him about it, and he said "well, I dont want it coming back, so I had to kill it" there are more humane ways to kill a mouse. That's something her told me almost a year ago, but should I bring it up to him? A couple days ago, he said that there was a rat chewing his cables in his car. He never caught the rat, but he said that if he did he would throw it against the ground, so that it would suffer. Not sure if hed actually do that though. Should I be concerned?

He sent a big message in the work groupchat saying that we are all lazy and i want to not anger him further but i have a birthday party to go to and i need to switch with someone but I'm scared of disappointing people????? Help

I have been feeling like I am scared to get close to any of my friends. I actually feel disconnected from just about everybody and I don't want to feel this way but I know that my friends are busy. They don't talk to me much or really at all. A lot of people have been mean to me in the past so I just keep to myself. Does anyone have any advice for me? And I have tried therapy but it doesn't work. I have been to several therapists over the years and I just recently saw another one but I quit going to her because she didn't really help either. I feel like I am being pushed away 

im transferring to a different high school in grade 10 since the one im at rn is really bad so yeah. the one thing im worried about is making friends becuase im gonna be leaving all my old friends, best friend of 6 years and another best friend :( theres probably already friend groups there and im still working on being more comfortable openingh up to others quickly. i'm kind of middle popular at my current high school mostly cause im not overly extroverted, but i'm friends with quite a few popular groups and stick to my own main, closest friends most of the time. if any of that info helps. so yeah, advice ahead of time would be greatly appreciated :)

I broke up with my partner after they removed my friends and some family phone numbers from my phone as well as blocking them from my social media accounts. When I broke up with them they went on a rant about how I am overreating and when I calm down I will see that what they did was correct as why would I need friends when I have them. 

My brother has been dating this girl for a couple months. I've met her a few times, and shes just to really quiet. I hey her talking sometimes a little bit, but than she gets quiet again. Is ent her a request on facebook, and she hasnt accepted it, and I know shes been on, seeing as she posted something a couple hours ago. I'm probably overthinking it, but why would she not eccept my request?

I've been friends with my 2 friends for about 4 years now. We know each other very well and our intentions. My friend sent me this video of a black women ranting in the camera. I didn't understand a thing. I told her I wanted to say something that may sound inappropriate. And she kept insisting i'd say it. I said i don't understand N word people language. She started ignoring me. I didn't really realize she wasn't talking to me until I heard from the other friend. They both aren't friends with me because i'm "racist" 1 The girl was straight up talking nonsense I have no idea how anyone would understand that  2 My friends know my very well and we talk about racism a lot and they know i'm not racist. I don't understand how instead of ignoring me and being so immature talk to me about it.  3 I don't understand how that's "racist" If i said I don't understand white people language would that be racist too? 4 Also my friends know the type of person I am they know i wouldn't purposely say something offensive. 5 I didn't exactly say the N word I said Nugur 6 And she basically forced me to say it i never wanted to say it. WHY ARE THEY SO IMMATURE.

So I have a friend who I am trying to slowly remove. She has a lot of personal emotional problems, so me cutting her off is gonna cause more for her, but unfortunately, this is one of these moves that'll have to be made. The issue is is that, for starters, she told me she wants to go to a concert later this year to see a band we like, however, I'd rather go with some of my other friends instead of her. She doesn't know them thankfully, but it's part of the, I don't want her around anymore thing. How can I handle this situation?

I got a call from my friend Alice who wanted to meet me for lunch. She had a problem she wanted my advice on. At lunch, she told me her son in law (her daughter's husband) wanted her to loan him some money. She had already made him 3 loans and he had not paid any of those 3 loans back. She wanted to know if she should make him a 4th loan. I told her this is a VERY TOUGH situation. She should probably consider the 3 pervious loans as gifts as the odds are VERY LOW they will be paid back. I told her I think the best approach would be to tell him that after he paid back the previous loans, she would consider making him a new loan. I told her to be prepared from a bad reaction from him and also possibly from her daughter. If there are grand children involved, be prepared to hear you will not see your grand children again. I told Alice to think very carefully what she wanted to do. I predict if she made another loan, there will be a request for a 5th loan in the future. I hope I gave her good advice. Do you think I did?

Ok so heres the story- Me (16 yo fm) My best friend (16 yo m) and his brother (14) and I are friends with 3 kids. The 3 kids are all siblings (15 yo fm) (16 yo fm) and (17 yo m). My best friend and his brother moved an hour away from me in September and the other family moved 3 hours away from me in October. I see my best friend and his brother once a month and I have not seen the other family since october.  The brother of the family and I liked each other for a really long time and were almost dating but it wasnt official. However; on new years eve he told me he didnt really like me anymore.  The very same day, my best friends brother told me they were in town overnight and asked if they could see me new years day before they went home. I said sure and met them at their hotel. However; the brother of the family who "broke up" with me so to speak was there. My best friend tried to surprise me.  I know my best friend didnt know but i cant help but be kind of upset? What do I do

 I don't know what is wrong with me, I do nothing to random people and they just insult me ? Like calling me "Junkie" , making fun of the unchangable parts of my appearance, and other micro-penis antics. But my friends don't ever say anything to them. However when someone does that **** to my friends, I make sure that those punks regret it. One way or another. Btw to give you context this is all in highschool. And those who insult me are always guys.

I had a private Instagram account with like 4 followers where me and and my friends would just joke about on and post memes and funny pics. In one of them I put a mug of myself with a teschers face in the background with the caption 'nonce' it was a joke between me and my friends and wasn't meant to be took seriously at all and the only people who could see this were my friends. There was another meme with some other teachers faces on and that's it. One of my 'friends' (obviously no longer one anymore) decided to report this private Instagram account to a teacher. Got into massive trouble and I was put into isolation. I'm usually a really quiet and good person at school so all the teachers are really angry with me. I legit started having a panic atteck while sat in isolation. I got home and my parents shouted at me a lot and got very angry with me. It's really embarrassing as most of the teachers in the memes i have as teachers and have probably been told about it. They have probably told other teachers and so they know and will treat me different and it will be awkward as im the least likely person to do something like this as im always good. I'm just so embarrassed by this and idk what to do in this situation. I am so anxious to go back to school and to go to a meeting later as im excluded for today. 

I come from a poor family, so I worked 40+ hours throughout highschool and had a very minimal social life, when I graduated from HS back in 2015 I landed a welding Job making $18/hr I have been working with the company on average 50-60hrs a week I have been working and investing in the stock market since I was 18 I am now 23 years old and have a net worth of $180k give or take mostly invested in index & bluechip stocks. Since I have worked so much I have not had time to socialize with many people my age I have only had a Girlfriend back in Highschool. I plan on cutting my hours to 40/week within the next 2 months since I have put myself in a very good position, my question is how can I get back out there to make new friends, and find a girlfriends, should I just go to a club by myself? I'm really unsure thanks in advance for any answers! Also just a little more about me I am a very quite person it is hard for me to interact with other people because my thoughts on a daily basis consists mostly of economic stuff (like the stock market) so it seems that is all I want to talk about. I am definitely open to socialising over other stuff its just out of my comfort zone currently.

My friend has depression and he's been in a very bad state before, but he's never actually taken any action when it comes to killing himself.  A few hours ago, he texted my friend's group chat about how sad he was and about how all his dreams are crushed and that he's given up on life. The last thing that he said was "Goodbye" and when I directly messaged him, asking if he was still looking forward to going to the dance on saturday, he said "I won't remember Saturday anyway." And then I tried to text him but he didn't reply for almost an hour. He had been talking about how nobody loved him anymore and how he did not want to live. He said he wanted to shoot himself. So, I was obviously panicking. He could have either A.) Killed himself by now or B.) Is asleep or busy doing something else. He did not read or respond to my messages so I decided to get 911 involved for a wellness check. A few minutes later, he texted me and he was really pissed off at me. He said he was in the shower and he told me that I should never call the police on him ever again. I feel bad right now because I may have gotten him in trouble with his parents. I may have gotten him sent away to a mental hospital. But I just wanted to make sure he wasn't dead. If he ends up at school again tomorrow, he probably won't talk to me.  How should I handle him being angry at me? Should I avoid approaching him?  If I hadn't have called 911, tonight may have been the night that he died. But he's really mad at me right now because I may have shaken up his family and gotten them worried and/or mad. 

i'm a junior in high school. i started talking to my friend's boyfriend about a month ago because we have many similarities. i'm going to a doctor soon because i've become pretty sure that i have adhd that's never been diagnosed. i mentioned it to my friend's boyfriend at one point and last night he told me that he was pretty sure he also had it. we compared issues and stuff and realized we'd experienced many of the same struggles that are common in adhd and he was asking because he wasn't sure if he had it or not. we both understand that it's strictly as friends, but apparently tonight he told his girlfriend that he thinks he has adhd and mentioned that he had talked to me about it. apparently she was hurt that he had told me before he told her even though it was only because i had told him that i was fairly certain i had it. she's often insecure and she's in therapy due to struggling with ptsd and other things. i don't think that he and i shouldn't be able to be friends because we're all teenagers who have a lot going on in our lives and can't always only rely on one person but i also don't want my friend to feel upset or uncomfortable. i don't want to stop talking to him because he's my friend. what do i do? 

I have a friend that every time I try and pull away she tells me that she is going to kill herself. Constantly crying at school and telling me to "take care of her boyfriend while she is gone" its making my mental health spiral already having to deal with my own issues. She saw that she gave me an anxiety attack and I I wanted to cut but ignored it and continued. What should I do?

i ended a toxic friendship, she was terribly toxic. to me, and my friend's. we ended it today but she makes it seem like the victim. i don't know why but i've cried over her, screamed because of her, wanted to punch the **** out of her. but when i ended it i was like oh, why do i feel kinda sad, or weird? i don't know
