Question: What can you say to someone who's been cut from a sports team as a senior? Posted: 29 Jan 2020 02:50 PM PST My younger brother got cut from varsity basketball and he seems devastated by it. I've never been an athlete or done band or art or anything like that so I've never been in that situation. What can I do to help him? |
Question: What should we do.. need advice ? Posted: 29 Jan 2020 11:44 AM PST Me and my boyfriend are both fixing to be homeless.(I'm 20, he is 24) Right now he is living in a shared house with a roommate and I'm living two hours away with my parents who I've never gotten along with. He has no family that we can speak to about anything and neither do I so we are pretty much stuck. Both of us also do not drive(we both grew up in the city and well.. parents always said "it wouldn't be needed") The job he was working for laid him off not to long ago and he has finally paid the last of his money to the roommate for rent, as for me I'm jobless too but have been selling on eBay and such to make ends meet for myself. We are trying to figure out a way to move someplace together or for me to move to his City and live but we Both are broke and pretty much have no one but each other. I'm wanting to get some advice on what to do so that we both won't end up homeless. Any advice is better then nothing and I appreciate any that comes our way right now. I cannot depend at all on my parents or ask them for advice due to them being alcoholics and always just focused on the stuff they have going on with their lives. Yes I know, we are both adults and shouldn't depend on the parents or anyone but we are only seeking advice on what to do to get on our own two feet. I've looked as housing in the areas(both mine and his) and it takes way to long to even get into any of it because there is such a high demand. Help anyone please.. |

Posted: 28 Jan 2020 09:04 PM PST Me and my niece and our friends have our own band we sing everything from country to rock we even have a few songs of our own I'm the lead singer. We're having our first concert Tuesday. We usually do a session of our show where we sing sad country songs we'll be singing The Little Girl by Montgomery Gentry my niece loved that song when she was a kid she would sing it every day it was her favorite song I don't know why. It made me cry when she sang it now I'm gonna be singing it I don't know if I can get through it without tearing up. When she was a kid I would watch her a lot she would sing it to me every time I think I should make her sing it I don't think I can. I tried watching the video to it it made me cry even harder I had to get my partner to come in and hug me I couldn't let go of him. I never could figure out why my niece loved this song so much. Is it OK to cry ? |
