Question: Should I drive my aunt home if I suspect she's drinking? Posted: 25 Jan 2020 03:18 PM PST It's my brothers birthday, and we are having a gathering. She brought some vodka. She came, and had a talk with me. I noticed she had a bottle of a clear liquid. She said she promises that its water. I smelled het breath when she was talking to my, and it didnt smell like vodka. I cant tell for sure, but her voice sounded very slightly slurry. Shes always talked kind of mumbly when, so I'm not sure what to think. Should I just take her word for it, and let her drive home, or should I insist on giving her a ride if I have any doubt? |
Posted: 25 Jan 2020 02:53 PM PST Someone close to me keeps trying to tell me when and how much food to eat. I've told them that I'm not hungry, and they ignore me and try to FORCE me to eat. I don't listen to them, and I eat when I'm ready to. When I am ready to eat, they wanna tell me that I HAVE to keep eating. I don't listen to them and stop eating as soon as I get full. This has been pissing them off. I told them I'm NOT going to eat just because they said so. I don't care if they get mad anymore. There's nothing they can do, but they keep on trying. Again, I'm NOT going to eat just because they want me to. Also, my appetite has changed recently, so I don't feel hungry all the time anymore. I also can't finish all my food like I used to. In the past before I met this person, I used to be able to eat and eat. My stomach was a bottom less pit, but I always stayed thin. My body isn't like that anymore. I mean I'm still thin, but I lost the big appetite. |
Question: Am I being unfair/rude? Posted: 25 Jan 2020 11:04 AM PST My bf lives w/ me and my family. His family lives about 30 mins away from us. He works 5-6 days a week and always wants to go visit them on his day's off. The problem is I really dislike visiting. I just get very irritable when I'm around his family and I don't know why. My bf doesn't know I feel this way but he can sense it. (Just fyi his family is very conservative and have much different values than me they're against lgbt, pro-life, etc.). Is it wrong that I let their views affect me so much to the point of wanting to avoid them all together? I feel really bad for feeling this way. |
Question: Someone spread lies about me on a page and now all my online friends have blocked me? Posted: 25 Jan 2020 06:42 AM PST I was a popular member of a forum I frequent a lot for almost 7 years. I had a freak stalking me on the site who framed me and set me up then spread on a well known social media page relating to the forum that I am a stalker, harasser and crazy liar. Now every single one of my online friends has blocked me - some of them I've been friends with for years. I've been banned from the forum and everybody believes them and hates me now. The two people running the page have made up a bunch of lies and set me up. I'm feeling very sad :( |
Question: What are the odds of my abusive ex/child's father trying to get custody of my daughter? Posted: 25 Jan 2020 04:00 AM PST He abused me before and during my pregnancy, been unsupportive and talking to other women. I'm not financially stable and going into a women's shelter to get help and move on. I refuse to live with this man. But he works two jobs, getting his own apartment and owns a car which are things I don't have. In the shelter they'll help me in all forms to get on my feet, also I'm not a druggie or anything but I have anxiety and depression from my past. I still feel capable of being a good mom I just have to straighten my life out. I'm moving to the shelter and not telling him I'm moving or where it's at and I'm not letting him be there for the birth either. I feel like he'll try to be spiteful and get custody. I haven't reported his abuse to the cops so it's not documented. |
Question: Can I have some advice, please? Posted: 24 Jan 2020 11:10 PM PST I'm a 27 year old guy and I am looking for some advice. I met this girl and she seemed really cool and down to earth. She was so easy to talk to, we have a lot of the same interests, and work in the same field. The thing is, I found out today she is only 19. She works full time as a teaching assistant, goes to school part time, and has lived on her own for a couple years since she graduated early. She is very independent for 19. She did say on occasion she likes to smoke a black in mild in a bubble bath and has a vape she likes to hit, but that's the only bad thing she does. What should I do? I can't stop thinking about how she's only 19 and I am looking for someone my own age? She really wants a chance, but I just don't know what to do. |
Question: Wearing shorts in winter. What do you think? Posted: 23 Jan 2020 06:41 AM PST It's mainly a question for parents. Most kids, on school days, spend most of their time in doors, I mean inside. And even outdoors, unless its below zero, the kids are going to to running around and not swaeting. You know by bias. But I want to know yours! Thanks! [Updated on Jan. 24, 2020. Except 4 the spelling mistakes.] Changed category to Family... couldn't see anything more related. Also, I'm using a Web browser on a cell phone. I know interfaces and options can very based on these parameters. Thoughtful feedback from all. I suspect 1 reply a bit snarky, but I have a sense of humour.Lv7 had excellent answers, but I can only choose one "favorite". I know it's not a contest, but wanted to give kudos in more than just a thumbs up. |
