Question: Movers! If you’re a mover would you charge your girlfriend for boxes that would be free? Posted: 27 Jan 2020 01:33 PM PST My bf and I were not on good terms and had put distance between one another. My close friend needed to move ASAP. She had found movers but I wanted to still support my bf so I reached out to him for the job. He asked if she had a truck, boxes, etc. I let him know she would be getting a truck and no to the boxes. Btw he is a mover. So, he gave me a quote based on the square feet of her apartment. His quote was just about the amount she had budgeted. She has a 2BR apartment and only one of the bedrooms was furnished along with the living, dining and kitchen having much furniture to pack and would charge $3200 to move her belongings into storage. He asked about boxes? I told him she doesn't have any. He said he could provide them, but it would cost. I told him since I know she don't have enough for it, I can come up w the money for the boxes for her to help. Long story short, I went to his job to go pick them up a week later and found out his job actually has new and used boxes in their warehouse. The used boxes are available to anyone who wants them. I felt hurt and used that someone who knows my money is already tight, would make me pay for something that I could have gotten for free but wanted to profit off me. I barely had it to help my friend get them but I wanted to help her and support him. Am I overreacting by feeling taking advantage of? Any movers can give a POV to help me understand. Thank you |
Question: Why People consider sex normal in 20-40s? Posted: 27 Jan 2020 12:44 PM PST I had a mistake of enduring such abuse like sex in my 20's and it devastated me enough to never want to have it again. But I constantly met people who wonder why I don't have kids at 30+. But I am like what kids, I don't even sex once a year, why would I endure sex to then endure pregnancy. I had enough suffering and abuse from sex already, Sex is something nasty, abusive and criminal that males do to you, what's normal with it? |
Question: Why do i feel connected to a guy i never talked to? Posted: 27 Jan 2020 11:59 AM PST So i'm a junior in high school and there's this guy that sits across from my table before school starts, and I have no idea why i'm drawn to him. He's not very "attractive" idk I think he's cute but it's just the way he acts that reminds me so much of myself it's weird. He sometimes looks over at me or I think he does and I see him in the hallways sometimes. What is wrong with me am I delusional? |
Posted: 26 Jan 2020 05:27 PM PST I know her first and last name, her town and birthdate, and appearance. (+ she has unusual eyes) But I could not find her via internet. Can I somehow choose look alike and find the girl by photo? How can I find her? |
Question: Relationship break.? Posted: 26 Jan 2020 05:50 AM PST I am looking for some advice. As I don't really have many people to turn to for advice. Me and my partner had decided to go on a break just before Christmas we share a daughter together. Amazing father, can't fault him one bit! However last year was a bit of a tough one, both mentally and physically for him and it's taken a toll on our relationship. His mental health went very down hill and a few weeks after I had moved out with our daughter he had taken a over dose, thankfully he is now getting nag the help he needs. Anyway we are still on our "break" we still chat every day via texting. And obviously he said he needs time on his own to focus on himself for his mental health which I 100% agree with. But I do want our relationship to work as I'll love him so much (cheesy I know) he's also not the type to go off with anyone else and neither am I. He said to be you just never know what our future holds. Does this sound hopefull? I am going to sit down with him in a month or so and chat about it. (I haven't told him this I'm just letting him focus on himself for now) Do you think this is a good idea? |
Question: Can I have some advice, please? Posted: 24 Jan 2020 11:10 PM PST I'm a 27 year old guy and I am looking for some advice. I met this girl and she seemed really cool and down to earth. She was so easy to talk to, we have a lot of the same interests, and work in the same field. The thing is, I found out today she is only 19. She works full time as a teaching assistant, goes to school part time, and has lived on her own for a couple years since she graduated early. She is very independent for 19. She did say on occasion she likes to smoke a black in mild in a bubble bath and has a vape she likes to hit, but that's the only bad thing she does. What should I do? I can't stop thinking about how she's only 19 and I am looking for someone my own age? She really wants a chance, but I just don't know what to do. |
Question: Do you think I was being flirtatious or friendly? Posted: 23 Jan 2020 06:59 PM PST I have a guy friend that I work with. Today was his last day of working with us and I said goodbye to him and gave him a warm hug and it was pretty long. I said while hugging him that I enjoyed working with him. We talked a little like small chat about other things besides work. He seemed like he wanted to keep chatting so we talked for a while longer. For a few days, he was talking about how he wanted to stay in touch. Today, I said we should stay in touch and that I have his number. Then he gave me a casual hug and said take care and smiled and waved. I just wanted to show friendliness but do you think I was being flirtatious by saying I enjoyed working with you and we should stay in touch? |

Question: Was he about to give up? Posted: 18 Jan 2020 09:16 PM PST He tried for sex on 2nd/3rd dates but I wasn't ready. Then I think he was becoming distant by the 10th....rescheduling things here and there...but then now after sex, he goes through with another date plan. Was he about to give up before? |
Posted: 18 Jan 2020 12:11 PM PST I am in very good health except for bad legs. Still cut the grass with push mower. I would have to give up my dog - he is my only family. I do wear a GPS life alert wrist band. |
