Question: Is my best friend going throw midlife crisis or losing her mind? ? Posted: 24 Jan 2020 07:10 PM PST My best friend for 17 years has changed. She is 49 years old/ two children, one is in college and the other one is a junior in high school. She started acting different, distant with me last year. She ended her marriage of many year last year, went to live with her dad but then a few months after her divorce she met a new man, quickly got engage (I know bec of Facebook) and now she moved to Tennessee, 13 hours away from home. We haven't talked in about 7 months because she's not responding to my texts/calls. Shes been a great mom, took good care of her kids but I think she left her son with her ex to move with the new man. Her son has had type one diabetes since he was about 5 so I'm shocked that she left him behind since he's still a minor (16). I know she was unhappy for many years but I just don't understand what's up. At first I thought maybe I says something wrong but now I feel like she's going through midlife crisis. At first when she stopped talking to me I was sad and confused, then I was mad but now I'm worried bec she's doing things out of character. She's going to have many regrets because she left everything behind here in Connecticut for a man she just met recently. So my question is, should I put my pride aside and attempt to call her again even though she's been ignoring me (I haven't tried to contact her since July), or should I just let her be and move on? It's just hard because she's my best friend for many years and I miss her. Through* |
Posted: 24 Jan 2020 05:46 PM PST Court summons was issued,I had to go to court. Fines were up to 1 year in prison. She decided not to show up in court after appeals from friends. She latter yelled & insulted me almost daily, verbal and thru texts to my phone, callin me all sort of names.Out of frustration, I left the house for for week for peace to prevail. Now she wants me back home. My question is, why would a wife of such young marriage take the husband to such elevation?Do I have a reason to worry abt the future with her? |
Question: Husband just deployed depressed ? Posted: 24 Jan 2020 05:36 PM PST My husband just got deployed overseas for the next 9 months. I've been trying to get through this but I'm having a really hard time. We live off base, my family is very far away and I have very few friends here. I miss him. I have 2 dogs so I've been hanging out with them. I'm also kinda scared to be living here alone. I'm very depressed any advice? |
Question: Haven’t seen wife in years. How do I divorce? Posted: 24 Jan 2020 05:30 PM PST When I was young and in the military I rushed into a marriage. Just months later, while deployed overseas, we separated. She moved across the country I believe. If I can't get ahold of her how do I go about divorcing her? I've searched everywhere online. |
Question: How to get sole/custodial custody during a divorce? Posted: 24 Jan 2020 05:11 PM PST me and my daughters dad have be split for almost 9 months now and we have both agreed to a divorce. I first decision was to give us shared custody but him being bitter would tell me he doesn't want shared custody he wants full custody and that he does not want to co parent with me because he doesn't want to talk to me or be around me. Right now my daughter pretty much lives with me and it was MY decision to let her go with her grandmother(father's mother) every other week for a whole week. her dad would ask to see her once in a blue moon before that but now doesn't ask to see her at all doesn't even text me to ask how she is doing or doesn't try to help me with any types of decision making on her behalf( doctor appts, what daycare to put her in etc) he uses the fact that she is with his mom to just go and see her he even stopped bringing his mom to pick up my daughter for those weeks she has her and stopped dropping her off as well he even blocked me on his phone and everything so I don't really have anyway to contact him if it pertains to our daughter he has been very abusive in the pass to me and even infront of her has hit me a few times and hit her in the process has called me names and disrespected me in front of her and I have witnesses to that and has a recent police report of threats that had charges eveually dropped because I had them dropped. so my question is can any of this help me with getting sole/custodial rights of our daughter ? |
Question: I feel like I will never get married? Posted: 24 Jan 2020 04:16 PM PST For some reason I feel like I will never get married, even though I'm only 18 and it makes me feel sad. Does anyone feel ever feel this way?, or is it just me?. I know and understand that but I don't want to end up never getting married. No offence, but just because some people have marriage problems, doesn't mean I will. |
Question: I’m so mad at my wife right now? Posted: 24 Jan 2020 04:13 PM PST I'm trying to make her see the light right now that divorce is a good thing for both of us. But she hinted that she couldn't live without me! Does she even know what kind of a spot this puts me in? She makes it sound like she could never find anyone else and wold rather die than divorce! Help me out you bunch of freaks! I mentioned maybe we should take a break but I get nothing but screeching! |

Question: How do I live amongst those who haven't come out and never will? Posted: 24 Jan 2020 03:24 PM PST I have four sisters, three of them are gay and we are never on the same page. They think completely different from me and it's a serious problem now that I moved in with one of them. Two of them have each been married multiple times and seem to think a man is for financial security. One of them married and divorced once.. she insisted they take for worse out of the vows when they married...I didn't think they would take it out but the pastor did. One of my sister's says she's bi and all three of them have tried to rape me. They keep saying same goes with same and you should only be with a man for appearance because they say everybody judges them. I don't agree with them. Now she expects me to take her husband's place. She said her car is no good and had the nerve to ask me to buy her a car. I would never. What do you think I can do as a straight woman being born into a family of fags and I know they get it from our biological father he's a big fag. |
Question: Been through it all want to go home help ? Posted: 24 Jan 2020 02:59 PM PST I have been living on my own since 20 years old. I've always lived 12 hours from home. When I was 23 I moved to a new city landed my dream job knew NOBODY there but I made it work. In 2017 I got married. I left my dream job and moved to a new town with my husband for his job. I landed a very good paying job in April 2017. My job went bankrupt in July 2017. I was devastated. The only job I could get was covering someone on maternity leave from August through December 2017. In October 2017 we lost our home in a fire. I could not find any work where we live from January 2018 - May 2018. Then, in August 2018 I found a full time job. THAT company also went bankrupt in Dec 2018. AGAIN I was unemployed. I was unemployed again until May 2019 when I worked again for a temporary company part time for the summer. I FINALLY found a teaching job in August 2019. It is unfortunately only a 1 year contract and then I'll be unemployed again. I should mention the area where we live is TERRIBLE for jobs. The unemployment rate is our area is 13 percent. Then in September I found out my husband was having an affair with 3 different women and we are now divorcing. I'm 31 years old I've always been independent and I've never felt the desire to move home with my parents. I can't take much more. I've become a hermit, I'm having a VERY hard time making friends. I know this is EXTREMELY unhealthy for me. I'm 12 hour from any family. Should I just give up and move home? |
Question: Brexit will be really bad won’t it? Posted: 24 Jan 2020 02:02 PM PST I'm worried that my house is going to fall down and my wife will divorce me and then my hair will catch fire and I'll starve to death |
Question: How many lovers is too many before marriage? Posted: 24 Jan 2020 01:59 PM PST I want to know if there is a hard limit. I'm new to the dating scene and have learned from my research that marriage will excuse my past mistakes. Also, I can use that experience to please my future husband. I don't want to be a virgin when I get married but also don't want to be the town floosie. Finally, have any of your past experiences with lovers come back to haunt your current husband or boyfriend? |
Question: How long have you been playing the marriage prison game? Posted: 24 Jan 2020 01:15 PM PST I could not imagine these oldies bragging about being married 50 plus years! That is pure insanity. I'm losing my mind and its only been *** years for me! (Hint over 10 but less than 50, also I'm not that old) Anyhow, how did you do it? How do you remain sane by being married so long? I lose my marbles every 10 years or so and seriously contemplate divorce just to free myself of the pain! Obviously, I could never just dump the wife and kids so easily for my own selfish needs but still.....how till death! Any advice? And please, no comments about having numerous past sex partners to ease the pain of forever marriage. |

Question: I took the options off the table that I negotiated with my wife for marriage until death? Posted: 24 Jan 2020 12:31 PM PST She offered a threesome with a professional among other things to spice up marriage I know KINKY! right? But, I don't think I could bring myself to dirty myself in that way. Also, as soon as she tries to change up her routine, she passes out and almost dies on me. I don't want to go through that again especially in some kind of establishment where if something were to happen to her, I'd be explaining this super awkward situation.....Anon, what where you doing int that place with your wife! LOL! I'm not sure its worth the risk so that fantasy will remain just that. Maybe I can take it out on the bottle. It dulls my brain so good and at least gives me temporary relief from the prison of marriage. Any other ideas to make marriage not so suffocating? |

Question: Can’t agree on tv with spouse? Posted: 24 Jan 2020 12:05 PM PST My husband never wants to watch what I want to. I always suggest movies or tv shows and he says "ew no I wouldn't like that." He's never interested. It's always what he wants and I tolerate it. Thankfully, we have a tv in our bedroom that I watch. It bothers me that he's not interested. Is this a small thing to be bothered over? I don't mind going in the bedroom, but should I just accept it or make a big deal? Do you watch tv with your spouse together? |
Question: Husband isn’t satisfying me and told me to find someone else? I don’t know what to do? Posted: 24 Jan 2020 11:26 AM PST My husband and I have been married for about 6 months. I think I was too infatuated with him when we met to realize this but he is not very affectionate and it deeply hurts me. He does show that he cares about me. Like if I mention I like something, he will make a point to buy it for me. He is my best friend. He can be great at conversation, he's smart, has a good, dry sense of humor. When he's not working, we spend most of our time at home together. So, it's not like he doesn't want to be around me. We have sex about every other day. But outside of sex, he doesn't want to touch me. The only time we really kiss is before we have sex. He doesn't hold my hand or hug. Even cuddling, he will let me lay on him or wrap my arms around him but he won't really hold me. He might drape an arm over me. He told me cuddling makes him feel claustrophobic so he basically just does it for me. He rarely ever says he loves me. And I've told him how it hurts me and tried to talk to him about therapy and he refuses. He says it's not how he is. We had a fight about it and I asked him if he loved me at all. He looked..dumbstruck. He was like why would you even ask me that? Of course. It was like he genuinely didn't get it. And I told him if he won't say he loved me that someone else would. That's when he said I could go find an extramarital partner to give me what I want. That he'd rather I do that then leave him. But I don't really want to be with someone else, I want my husband to be enough. |
Question: How is it wrong for me to lose weight in order to get a husband? Posted: 24 Jan 2020 11:12 AM PST I'm 24 and live in Georgia where everyone else my age is getting engaged or married. I realize that if I had been pretty at 16 and didn't have my awkward phase then that would be me. Even if a woman is pretty at 24 all men still judge from age 16. I'm sorry for grammar errors but I don't want to be 34 with mama fever and lonely so I dropped 40 pounds to hope for a man. Maybe some divorces can happen so that way I won't feel like a loser |
Question: Ladies have you ever passed out from an orgasm? Posted: 24 Jan 2020 10:50 AM PST Anon, I would say a drop in blood pressure. BV Do you openly cry or is it tears of enjoyment? Yoda, let me tell you something to try, I was on my knees and hands and she was moving underneath me, and this was my 3rd orgasm I was working on, I told her to go slow because I was about to fold, and as she worked on me I slowly started to regain my erection, I told her to move a little faster which she did and then I said faster and she did and faster and faster all the while I was talking dirty to her and she got to moving so fast her breasts were moving like a yo-yo and then all of a sudden I felt my orgasm building and then as she came down on me I slammed my penis into her hard and exploded, when I was able to look at her again she was out. I called her name and she didn't respond so I called her again and she still didn't respond so I slapped her face and she snapped out and when she did she started laughing. That is the only time she ever did that. I can understand your legs shaking after having 6 orgasms. The most I ever had at 1 time was 4, my legs did that 2. Xavier, maybe the woman being the main player is what does it to them, was she on the top or bottom? You know her blood had to be really pumping good. Maybe they got too much oxygen in the brain and that shut them down. You know that blood carries oxygen into our body but I think I read that not enough oxygen would cause a person to pass out. |

Question: Husband is too controlling during my pregnancy? How can I get him to stop? Posted: 24 Jan 2020 10:14 AM PST Our first baby is 27 mos. I just found out I was pregnant with baby #2 last month. During my first pregnancy, my husband was very concerned about my wellbeing and the baby's to the point of being too controlling in my opinion. He just is very opinionated on things I should/shouldn't be eating/doing. I will say he does know his stuff because he works in public health and is a former PT. For him, preparing our babies to be as smart/healthy as possible is a big priority. As soon as I got pregnant, he wanted me on a really clean diet. He agreed to do the diet also and he's always done the cooking so it wasn't too bad of an adjustment. But at times it could be stressful. Like I heard it's ok to have up to 200/mg of caffeine so I felt like 1 coffee was ok. He would constantly nag me about it. It even brought me to tears. He also always made me do exercises even when I said I was tired, he would guilt me into it. For NYE, I had non-alcoholic wine because we weren't ready for people to know I was pregnant. Mind you we had JUST found out a week before. He pulled me into a hallway and started berating me for drinking so bad I couldn't even butt in to say that it wasnt real alcohol. But he should have trusted me before assuming. These are a few examples. I've told him that the forced exercise/comments about what I eat STRESS me out which isn't good for the baby either. He always flips it and says, "I'm doing this because I love and care about you both" and I'm overreacting When I talk to him about my feelings, he keeps saying, "It's not just about you. It's the baby too." Which I get where the expression comes from but of course my feelings should matter. Him as the dad telling me, a mother whose already had a baby, what I need to be doing is so frustrating! That he thinks I wouldn't have my child's best interests in mind is insulting. |
Question: Should i keep my baby? ? Posted: 24 Jan 2020 08:27 AM PST I'm about 15 weeks pregnant, recently just found out we're having a boy. My boyfriend of almost two years has told his mother but she hates me and said " you need to come around your other kids instead of worrying about her" Background story is he's married. He has four kids. Two by his first girlfriend whose crazy and obsessed with me and his relationship. She is miserable because he doesn't see her kids but she also refuses to let him see them. She emails him asking him to co parent with her but he doesn't want to because he owes too much back pay in child support, and has a warrant. So those two kids, whom are his first born. He has nothing to do with! Not even on holidays. Personally i don't care because she is such a crazy miserable woman. The second woman he married and is still married to, she has a man now and they agreed to split the kids. He and i kept one and she kept the other ( she claims he refuses to give her back) but it isn't true she is just a bad mom and doesn't want her kids. So he loved me for being a good step mom. His wife also wants him back and is miserable. Now that i am pregnant ( this is my third child but first with him) i find it odd that he broke up with me but still lives with me. He says he's only there because he can't get back to his home state. He blocked me on social media because i kept catching him messaging girls. Should i be worried that he hasn't told anyone on social media i am pregnant. He has not mentioned our new son to anyone |

Question: Married couples: Are you stuck in a rut? How do you get out? Posted: 24 Jan 2020 07:18 AM PST My wife and I have committed to each other that Sunday morning is a good time for us to have fun in bed. It's fun and all, but it feels like we are stuck in a rut. Limited to Sunday mornings. I suggested some fun last night after I saw a couple kissing at a bar. Was feeling horny. Shot down! "Too tired" at 9:30 p.m.? Any advice? We are late 50s, married 25. |

Posted: 24 Jan 2020 07:17 AM PST The company I work for the President wife is head of Human Resources and his best friend is the CEO of the company. I feel if I bring any issues to hr attention it will either be ignored, swept under the carpet and naturally she is always going to side with her husband .I have already sent several emails and the responses of pretty much been I don't know anything about that or nothing is ever resolved. Question: How would you feel about this? Posted: 24 Jan 2020 05:41 AM PST My husband came home from work the other night with a piece of paper. On the paper was some sort of Valentine's Day thing they are doing on his job. He works customer service for a medical type of company and they are pulling names and buying things for each other for Valentine's Day. The sheet asked what were some of his favorite treats, snacks, magazines, things he liked to listen to, etc. I told him I didn't think that was a good idea for his office to be doing that. He said it was all in office fun and was no different than Secret Santa. He said they were going to order pizza next week and have a little get together for some office fun. I have a feeling about him buying some other person a gift for Valentine's Day. He said it's nothing romantic but just the co-workers having some fun. How would you feel if your partner had to buy some other co-worker a little gift for Valentine's Day? |
