Question: Should I keep trying to save my marriage? Posted: 02 Aug 2018 09:41 PM PDT She goes from sweet and kind to angry, insulting and bringing up divorce. She complained that I didn't do any house chores when she was working late, so I do the laundry, vacuuming, dishes, trash and clean the kitchen and bathroom top to bottom, water the plants and recycle. Then she acted like what I did wasn't a big deal and would say "But I do it too!" when I never said she didn't. Then she complained about the air conditioner being on so now I sit in the house sweating to avoid a fight. Then she complained I was wasting money on bottled water. So I bought a filter and drink from the tap. She complained that I wouldn't eat white rice and have to eat brown rice even though I can't eat it since it makes me sick due to a genetic disorder. She sometimes walks out of the house without saying bye and ignores me when I try to catch up with her to say bye. She even drove past me once and said she did it because I had an angry face. She suggested I join a gym, so I did and then she got angry when she found out how much it cost. I can't touch my computer or she says I'm screwing around without even seeing what I am doing. I cant do anything for entertainment or she brings up how she works long hours. If I sleep longer than her, she complains because she wants to sleep longer. And this only started after we got married. She was originally a very submissive feminine romantic woman. Now I feel like she's my new mother. |

Question: How can I get out of marrying my 2nd cousin? Posted: 02 Aug 2018 02:33 PM PDT The family wants me to and especially cause she is family also. It is distant enough that it is not incest but I don't love the woman. The wedding is in September and in our family our parents choose our spouse. As a result there are few divorces. I really don't love the woman I am marrying though. She is a good person and I love her as a cousin but not at all as a wife. I am super talkative and excitable, she is very quiet and easily irritated. I am very sensitive to criticism, my wife to be is always criticizing and irritated. I am into family ties and always forgive family, my wife to be has family she doesn't even speak to that will be banned from the wedding (people I like). My wife to be is a die hard baseball fan, I could care less about baseball. I am into genealogy, my wife to be says it is retarded. Etc.... Plus I want kids and she does not. Our parents picked us and so we have no say. How do I get out of this before the wedding September 29th? |

Posted: 02 Aug 2018 02:11 PM PDT To make it short a husband is expected to maintain certain boundries all his life while with his wife. He has to listen and decipher hidden messages in her speech, not comment on her or critcize her, maker her feel happy and pampered and encourage her and so on and on. Oh and put up with her nonsense and understand her feelings etc But i dont see what all this hard work yields back ? Kids ? Companionship and maybe a clean home, some sex and a hot meal if she dont burn it and asks you to go and buy dinner ? Cause she just wants to feel special that night and you gotta be cool about and just grab your wallet and keys ? I realize i sound cynical, superficial and vain; but could someone explain what does a man really get out of all this work and agonizing patience and having to deal with someone that refutes logic and everything is based on how HER feelings make her fell ? I know the first few answers will be offensive and from people that dont want to admit the facts i mentioned.. |

Question: I thought I’d be happy when I filed for divorce.? Posted: 02 Aug 2018 07:53 AM PDT I've been married to my husband 14 years. Things just haven't been working out between us for awhile. I finally got the courage to file for divorce yesterday. I thought when I did it there'd be this "life changing" moment and id feel so happy and just free. I don't. I'm depressed at work. I feel down and just blah. I know this is the right decision for myself, my husband, and our children. I'm just handling it much differently then I expected. Is this normal? Anyone else gone through a divorce? |

Question: Should I end things or am I just overreacting ? Posted: 01 Aug 2018 11:36 PM PDT I've been married for just over 12 years and we've had our ups and downs and fights etc. like any other couple, but lately I've noticed something else. My husband has always been shy around women, friendly but shy, he doesn't flirt with women outright, but he is also not the type to turn down a flirty woman. We both just turned 34 and he has decided that he wants a career change so he has gone back to school for another profession. I support it all the way. But the last year or so he has been hanging around a girl that he knows likes him and he continues to seek her out. The texts between them consists of her flirting with him non-stop and she knows he is married. At first I was furious with her, but now I realize that she wouldn't continue to flirt if my husband didn't give her some kind of signal that it was ok to do so. He does say in some of the texts that he loves me when she gets really flirty, but then in others he reciprocates her flirty behavior and meets with her after class, he goes in search of her after her class is over and they talk as they walk to their next class. I can tell all this by their texts, they also always hug as the girl texts him if she can have another one of those nice tight hugs ... He also has a long time friend that he met when he was working at his last job and they have continued to stay in touch, she's also another flirty type. So he definitely loves the attention he gets from these women. Is this normal for men or is he a cheat? |
Question: Women: What watch should I buy my wife? Posted: 01 Aug 2018 06:20 PM PDT My wife wants a watcha and I have no idea what to get her. Instead of telling her or asking her, i want to suprise her. So what watch is really nice? |
