Posted: 02 Aug 2018 06:00 PM PDT For example, my friend gets admitted to the hospital or my family member gets into a car crash and I offer to help and ask them if they need anything and offer kind words that everything will be okay, and they give me an attitude, I don't get it. I am just simply trying to be nice and I always get nothing but rudeness back |
Question: My friends are sleeping with the same guy? Posted: 02 Aug 2018 05:53 PM PDT My two friends are sleeping with the same guy. One does not know. The guy is the brother of my other coworker and we are all friends. The friend who does not know was seeing him first and they are dating but not official. I feel so bad knowing that this is going on because I feel like I owe it to one friend to say something but I owe the other friend as well. I just feel like she's very shady to sleep with him knowing that he's with her friend. I don't trust her now. Ive told my friend that he is seeing other women and she says she doesn't care bc they're not official but she is going to ask him out. Should I tell her that he's sleeping with her good friend? |

Question: Dealing with toxic friend? Posted: 02 Aug 2018 02:08 PM PDT I have a friend who ive known for about 8 months. We began as just sortve classmates but after a rough breakup she helped me through and made the process so much better. Since then we grew really close and became bestfriends. She has clinical depression and anxiety which often makes her have episodes where she lashes out or isolates herself. Ive tried for months and months to help her by telling her to give working out a try cause it made me a happier person, and trying new things and foods but she never listens and sleeps all day. She often texts me in bland one word responses and overall stresses me out and brings my mood down. I want to cut her off because of the effect she has on my life as of now, but shes very open about me being her only friend and so I force myself to stay. Im worried if I leave her she'll do something wreckless. (She also goes to therapy so I cant suggest she get help) Any input or advice on what to do? |
Question: My roommates on a trip are out of control, please help? Posted: 02 Aug 2018 02:04 PM PDT This might make me sound like a total square but please stay with me I'm on a summer trip with some other high schoolers (though not a high school trip) for my summer before senior year. This is something I've waited forever for, spent so much money on, and is honestly the trip of a lifetime. Anyways, I'm a guy and my roommates are honestly stepping all over this trip. To start, I should say that I'm pretty adiment about not doing drugs/smoking/drinking. Like i said, square, but it's for very serious personal reasons, and I normally don't mind other people doing whatever the hell they want to, but my roommates are really pushing me. For one, they're smoking in the room multiple times a day with only a window open to clear it. The room constantly smells awful with smoke and it's all over my clothes They buy drinks and stay up all night drinking them and being so loud, I rarely get any sleep at all and am tired all day when we're doing exciting things they're gettibg all of the younger kids to agree to trying it They also keep almost getting caught, and putting me in a place to get in trouble for knowing about it and helping them cover it up It's all so much and I'm trying so hard to ignore them but at this point it's impossible. They buy more drinks, cigarettes, etc and get worse every day. Talking is useless. even though I'm older than them all they just talk down to me and say it's just because I haven't tried it. What do I honestly do? Please no joke answers. |
Question: My friend likes to talk about finances? Posted: 02 Aug 2018 01:02 PM PDT Recently she mentioned how she tried getting approved for a second mortgage but the bank wants to see a higher salary. She looked sulky as well. |

Question: How do I politely tell my friend to worry about her own self? Posted: 02 Aug 2018 10:16 AM PDT She always asks why when I can t hang out and my family finds that rude. Also she contstanly asks me how much money i have?and she looks in my purse |
Question: What kind of social group is this called? Posted: 02 Aug 2018 09:57 AM PDT These people tends to stick together and they all know what their left arm is doing from their right. They all talk the same, dress the same act the same and physically look alike. They all carry a favoritism towards each other and don't want to get to know you or involved with you. If you have an issue with one of them, all of them, regardless of them being in the wrong will jump onto you If they have to be around you they will treat you like a redheaded stepchild because you aren't like they are. The nicer ones will accuse you of being 'different'. Any reason why they're like that? |
Question: Guy friend very polite towards me? Posted: 02 Aug 2018 07:58 AM PDT I've known this guy for over 3 years and since we're in the process of getting comfortable around each other, he asks me about how I'm doing every conversation we have and always uses his manners. When he said "yes ma'am", I told him that he made me feel old when he says that to me 😂 and he got concerned saying that if I don't like it, he'll try his best to stop calling me that, which I didn't want him to because he's very sweet. We had feelings for one another, but I think we're in the process of getting comfortable and learning what we're like around each other, since he started out being nervous and shy only around me when we first met, but he's more confident around me and no longer puts pressure on himself to talk to me. |
Question: Why do men get upset when you break it off with them? Posted: 02 Aug 2018 07:51 AM PDT I decided to break it off with my friends with benefits. I told him I found someone else. And he told me to suck on other men. I don't get it he talks to other women. So why did he get upset? |

Question: What would you have done in this situation? I feel so guilty? Posted: 02 Aug 2018 03:44 AM PDT I witnessed someone getting raped in jail & didn't say anything or do anything. No one did. I already got released but I feel pretty guilty. I mean this actually happened in county not in like a max prison |
Question: Why do people suggest you give your child up for adoption? Posted: 02 Aug 2018 02:02 AM PDT If you have kids I'm sure you love them with all your heart. Foster care is a game of chance. Yes there are families out here that want a child but what about the ones who just want a check? I had a bit of bad luck a couple of months ago. Lost my job, car, and home. I also have a 3 year old. I asked what should I do, and a couple of people told me to give my child up for adoption. I was very offended by this. Why would you give up your child because you're down on your luck temporarily? |
Question: Why are most middle schoolers so annoying? Posted: 01 Aug 2018 09:54 PM PDT Seriously, I'm 16 and was never like that! They are loud, giggly, and try to "impress" older people. I have a 4th grade brother and a 7th grade brother at the same time. Since our family has one child at every level, we tend to know what goes on with each other. This is mostly girls I'm speaking about, but a lot of them are wannabe teens. It's obvious that they want to be seen as one so badly. What causes kids to be like this once middle school starts? They aren't like that before. |
Question: I let my best friend borrow money and he keeps making excuses to pay me back? Posted: 01 Aug 2018 08:17 PM PDT He was supposed to pay me back about a week ago, but I've asked two times and he made up some excuses until he was he gave me today and nothing. I'm seriously not gonna ask him anymore because I have a very short patience and things could get ugly. Lesson learned, never let a friend or family borrow money you can't afford to lose. Good things he broke my trust with a small amount and when he's in a dire situation I will not lend him a penny. |

Question: Feeling like I have no friends? Posted: 01 Aug 2018 07:16 PM PDT I have extreme insecurities mostly revolving around my image and how I appear to other people. Lately I've noticed that I have a lot of insecurities regarding my friendships. I've been hurt in the past and since then I have felt very insecure in my amount of friends and whether or not the frienships are real and they actually care about me. It is making me extremly depressed and very sad so I would like to know if anyone has any solutions |
Posted: 01 Aug 2018 07:04 PM PDT More Info = I am NOT forcing her. I am trying to make her talk with me more in a non-disrespectful manner. Any ways? She sometimes does take a DAY to respond. I dont know how this is working. I dont know her address so i cant talk to her in person about this |
Question: I'm 13 with no life out of school. Any help? Posted: 01 Aug 2018 06:23 PM PDT Oookay. So here's the issue. I'm 13, going into 8th grade, and I'd say I have a decent amount of friends. At school, I'm a pretty decent kid with average grades, relatively social, but I kind of suck at physical activities other than running. I'm not overweight, by the way (in case you were wondering if that was the reason why I'm like this). Anyways, outside of school I don't really hang out with friends and kind of just sit at home playing video games with online friends. Currently on summer break (ending in around 2 weeks), but the whole time I've just been sitting at home. I rarely even leave the house, honestly. That is, unless it's to go run errands with my family or if we're going out to eat. Really hermit type life-style. It's been like this for a couple years now, and I really want things to change. Any tips would be greatly appreciated. |
