Question: Should I confront this woman about spreading very hurtful, personal information about me? Posted: 09 Aug 2018 10:25 AM PDT My dad worked at a very large factory (not going to say where) that laid everyone off 14 or so years ago etc. to ship jobs out of the country. To make a long story short, I was sexually abused by my grandfather from age 2 or 3 until age 7. He also worked at this factory, but was already retired. He and my father have the same name so when my parents went to the police and then the media got involved when he was arrested everyone in the factory knew who it was because they knew who we were and who he was. A lot of people actually thought it was my dad who had done something because of the name and were literally going to kill him at work. Because it was such a huge "scandal" and people were losing their jobs anyway my parents decided to move and someone he worked with and was friends with suggested where they lived. It's a very small town where everyone gossips. This friend's wife got involved and basically cornered my mom for details and has always been a threat for spilling dirt about me. I met a guy who is in a band with her son and as soon as she heard my name she felt the need to tell him I was molested by a family member. Part of the reason we moved here is so people wouldn't know what had happened and I could pick who I told. I am 22, about to finish uni and start grad school, I think I'm pretty a decent person, she has not seen me since I was like 9 and she felt the need to take one hurtful detail about my past to warn him I'm "damaged". |

Question: What do you do when your siblings transformed into bullies? Posted: 08 Aug 2018 07:18 PM PDT What do you do when all growing up your siblings were all cool with you and then Suddenly after they started high school they transformed and became hard core bullies and you cannot even talk to them anymore. They're out of high school now and more worse than ever. You're block them on Facebook and avoid them to stay away from conflict, though you cherish the memories you had growing up with them and they were all cool with you. What should you do? |
Question: Is this completely done with me? Posted: 08 Aug 2018 06:57 PM PDT So Me and this girl talked for 7 months. She openly told me she liked me several times to my face. She was always all over me. Always showing signs of affection such as, feeding me with her fork, resting her head on me, holding my hand aross the table or just in general, and always giving me random kisses on the cheek and telling me how cute I am. We hooked and messed around. But before we even hooked up she told she wasn't as sexual as most girls. She was pretty inexperienced in that sense. So for me now. I didn't really jump the gun and ask her out. We went out a lot together to lunches, dinners and stuff but I never popped the question. She even gave me hints i believe to ask her out like saying how she's single and stuff to me. Most of our nights consisted of going to a bar and me bringing her back to my place and hooking up. I dont think she liked this because she actually did have feelings for me but i sort of ignored them. So she went to study abroad for a month. When she got back she gave me 2 gifts and we went to lunch and dinner. I finally asked her out but now she's telling me she only sees me as a friend now and that she doesn't like me anymore. Is this because I was too slow to ask her out? Btw way I asked her if she met another guy and she told me no right away and it sounded genuine so idk. |
Question: My ex is getting married to someone else. How do I congratulate him. What should I say? Posted: 08 Aug 2018 12:37 PM PDT He CANNOT know how much this is killing me. He just can't. I can't give him the satisfaction. How do I word this so he thinks I am happy for him because I no longer want him anyway? I was thinking of saying this 'OMG. That's wonderful news. Congratulations to you both'. Is that okay or is it too much? I intend to cease contact with him after that and NEVER speaking to him ever again but I need to leave without him thinking he has hurt me. |
Question: Shall I tell the husband about his unfaithful wife? Posted: 08 Aug 2018 11:24 AM PDT I share the apt with a couple , the wife has approached me twice demanding sex, she claims her husband neglecting her ! The first time I told her that I am not interested, the second to me I clearly explained to her I have a girlfriend ! Now she is acting in a mean way, for example I miss some of my clothes that I leave to dry in the backyard , dirt and poured water in front of my room.. I think she is mentally unstable and I fear for my safety.how can I address that to her husband? |
