Question: Am I In The Wrong Here? Posted: 09 Aug 2018 04:28 PM PDT I used to consider my coworker (we'll call her Nicole) a friend, but lately I just realized we are very different. She is very loud and obnoxious and sometimes rude (many fellow coworkers don't like her). Well at work the other day she wanted to hang out after, but I get off at 4 and she gets off at 7:30 and I live an hour from work so I told her maybe the next day, because I was supposed to stay later to meet my friend's puppy. Well that next day I met the puppy and it happened to be at another coworker's house. I stayed and hung out and Nicole texted me at 8 asking me where I was. I told my coworkers she had texted but they both told me they didn't want her to come over. So I didn't respond until the next day and apologized telling her I got caught up at the coworker's house. But that we should try to hang out another night. But now she's pissed and told me "I'm lame for 'forgetting' her and that she doesn't want to hang out another night." I don't know if I should give in and apologize more if I should just let it go? I want to avoid drama. |
Question: I sent a bra pic and regret it? Posted: 09 Aug 2018 03:58 PM PDT I sent this guy a mirror pic of me in a bra with no face and absolutely regret it. Me and him have like some sort of family relationship because he s my first cousins cross cousin and he graduated from my school this year while I am just going into 10th grade. He told me so many times I would never do that to you especially by showing anyone, he swore he wouldn t , and always says I would never hurt you. But I m just worried a lot cause he is kind of a player. I don t know what to do honestly that s all I worry about now and it s been like 3 days ago it happened. it was on snap and he didn't save or at least it didn't say he did |
Question: I don’t gave a single friend. what can i do to change that ? Posted: 09 Aug 2018 03:51 PM PDT i'm in middle school, where the popular girls rule the world. the popular gurls are usually just a bunch of ugly sluts that wear too much makeup and grab boys by the balls. on the contrary, i'm REALLY unpopular. i don't have a single friend. whenever i make friends of someone, they always become jealous of my looks, and the boys that follow me, so they usually backstab me badly. the thing is, i'm pretty. like not drop dead extremely gorgeous, but one of the prettiest girls at my school. most of the 'hot' boys follow me and try to make me their gf, but i'm too young for that stuff. the other girls see this and they get super jealous. they exclude me, make fun, call my name in the halls and then laugh, and just act like total b*tches. however, it gets pretty lonely by myself all the time. how can i still make friends? |
Question: People who have had stalkers, how do you get rid of them? Posted: 09 Aug 2018 03:25 PM PDT I m going into my sophomore year of highschool, and excuse my french but i just want this **** to end. When I was a seventh grader, there was a boy who took interest in me. I didn t like him back, and i never lead him on tho i was nice to him. This lead to him to start following me everywhere, waiting for me outside of my bus, excusing himself to go to the restroom and staring at me outside of class, etc. Counselors got involved, so did administration, and he got his laptop taken away so he would stop trying to contact me, etc. This happened over the span of 7th and 8th grade. At the end they just decided to move him to a different school within the district. Cut to the next year, he sin a different school, starts emailing me again. Saying all this ****** up **** about how he misses me and that hes sorry, how god will show him the path etc etc. I go and tell the counselor. they tell him if he slips up again he ll be expelled. Cut to this year, schools about to start. I just get a text from one of my friends saying that my stalker is messaging him. all of my accounts from that year already have him blocked, and when I look at my art account (doesnt have anything related to me) boom. he s looking at my stories. he s found another one of my accounts (he d already found my gmail, twitter, all of instagrams, and tumblr without my name being linked to them) I can t deal with this **** anymore. It s hurting me, my friends, and I just want him to go away. How do i make that happen? |
Question: My friends dog ate my birkenstock? Posted: 09 Aug 2018 03:14 PM PDT i was at my friends house and her dog ate my birkenstock... i told her parents and they said something along the line of "i'm so sorry this happened" but i'm wondering if they should have offered to replace or repair them. they didn't warn me about their dog or anything it just did it. |
Question: My roommate got mad because I changed my doorknob? Posted: 09 Aug 2018 03:13 PM PDT I've recently been living with a roommate, whom I interviewed, and I thought my decision was the best one. However, not. I've accused my roommate of going in my room numerous times, i've told management about it, and I recently got the whole doorknob changed yesterday and he made a passive aggressive remark by intentionally disposing of the toilet tissue. On top of that, I paid my rent this month today and I have anxiety about bad situations. Do you think he wants to rob me? Your comments are helpful! |
Question: A close female friend of mine told me she wants to see me masturbate, what should I do? Posted: 09 Aug 2018 02:49 PM PDT We have never had any sexual interaction between us, we are just friends, it's just this one time she is asking me to do it as a favor since she wants to entertain and get to see a guy "performing". She told me because we are that close friends she have the guts to ask me such a thing... I kind of like the idea but ultimately I don't know what to do. Please users, give me your opinions and tell me what should I do? |
Question: Why would a girl compliment me this much? Posted: 09 Aug 2018 02:08 PM PDT I talk to an older girl she finds any way she can to talk to or interact with me. She seemed to do all the stuff young girls do when flirting but she's 17. She does all the stuff flirty preteen girls or early teens. The giggly school girl type of flirting. She laughed loudly at my jokes and started talking to me and asked me to repeat them to her to then later scare me to tease me. Well she finds any way to compliment me she compliments a new shirt I got, wants pictures with me sends them to be for me to post then likes it tells me in person she likes it first thing she sees me. When I got a haircut she stood around me and approached me trying to talk to me and asks me if I got a haircut. She liked a picture with my dad on Facebook so she showed up on his notifications then tells me in person she likes it first thing. I was talking about my shirt to another guy she likes to butt and respond to stuff on my end. It said everyone loves a big guy. I said you have to be at least 6' or 200 to be one. I'm 6' 230 she said "Nobody else is as big as you". Is her complimenting flirtation |
Question: What is physical abuse in platonic relationships? Posted: 09 Aug 2018 01:46 PM PDT I was reading up on physical abuse and it didn t not give any parameters except for actual assault such as hitting or shoving forcefully. I play with my friends and sometimes we do a type of tag where we give a small bump against each other and it never escalates past a friendly tag or bump from arm to arm. I don t think it s abuse because we both treat it as a game, but my friend has come out of an emotionally abusive relationship and I don t want to do anything that can hurt them. If you can cite an article of some kind, that would be lovely, thank you for reading. The 'game mentioned is mostly done while walking and when the conversation has lulled, so I don't think we're that crazy. |
Question: I just want to walk away from a friendship? Posted: 09 Aug 2018 01:26 PM PDT I feel like I just want to walk away from a friendship I have with my best friend. She's a lot older than me and I think i'm starting to get bored with the friendship. I don't have a lot of friends anyway but i'm used to that. Is it ok to just walk away from it? I've been going through a depression because one of my family members just passed away last month and I guess i'm still depressed and sometimes this friend that I want to walk away from just leaves me hanging when I talk to her but I don't want to tell her that she does that. She's really busy anyway |

Question: I found something I wasn’t supposed to? Posted: 09 Aug 2018 12:05 PM PDT My friend gave me his phone and asked me to find something in his photos and as I was swipig I saw an acquaintance of mines nudes and I'm honestly triggered. I didn't even know he was gay. I feel weird and guilty idk. What do I do? I'm scared to meet with him again. |
Question: Should I end this friendship and how do I end it politely? Posted: 09 Aug 2018 09:48 AM PDT We have been friends for over a year, he started the friendship with me but I think there are some problems. There will be no contact unless I instigate contact either text, email or talking in person. I always plan the hangouts and am always the one to make the suggestion and when we do hangout it is very brief and he always seems to be in a rush to get home. Will make time for other friends but tell me he never plans anything and everything he does is spontaneous and when I am spontaneous he tells me he is busy. I hope I am not overreacting, I know the world doesn't revolve around me but I can't help feel a bit pushed aside. I have minor social anxiety and it is hard for me to make friends so without this friendship I will have no one else. (I am not overreacting here) What should I do? |
Question: This means they don't like me in general? Posted: 09 Aug 2018 09:14 AM PDT This is obvious, but I wanna hear your take/confirmation anyway lol. I wanna vent! My old friends made me feel like EVERYthing I did was wrong—even if they were traits that were opposites!- Like: too loud. Too quiet. Too serious. Too fun! Too hard. Too soft. No drama. Too much drama. It's kind of obvious that they just didn't like me, so no matter what I did, they didn't like it, right? Thoughts? Experiences? |

Question: Do you have trouble conversing with kids? Posted: 09 Aug 2018 08:31 AM PDT Once they reach 14 or 15 then I feel comfortable conversing with them but before that I tend to avoid them because i don't know what to say. Does anyone else have this issue? |
Question: Does this guy like me? PLEASE HELP? Posted: 09 Aug 2018 08:29 AM PDT We met because of a mutual friend and he tried setting us up. She told me he just got out of a relationship 5 months ago which he was cheated on.. its 6 months after this.. He is a sales rep for where I work so I saw him fairly often. In person, I felt like everything was flawless. I feel he is into me. Getting him to finally hang out with me was such a struggle but then I asked again.. he said no but in person he finally asks me to come over.. when I did all we did was talk all night and watch a movie. So we laid in his bed.. he didnt try anything but the next time we hang out we cuddle and made out.. the only bad side is he rarely text me first but seems to always reply when I do.. and he never really asks to hang out.. yesterday I found out he got a promotion.. meaning I wont be seeing him at work anymore and we would have to make time for each other but he is still texting me. He said exactly: It's not that I don't wanna see you or anything like that. I just go with the flow of ****. I don't go out of my way to make plans or anything I just do me. |
Question: Was she playing hard to get or wasn’t interested? Posted: 09 Aug 2018 07:49 AM PDT Last November I asked a girl for her number who worked at shoprite. We were flirting back and forth and shed ask how I am and stuff and one Friday I went in we were flirting and she said when she gets out of work and that she can't fraternize with customers while she's working and she said come back on Monday. When I came back the following Monday I went in her lane (she was a cashier) I asked her when she gets out and she said her boss was keeping her extra and she has a urologist appointment after work. Which didn't make sense because how do you not know when you leave work but have a urologist appointment right after? Was she playing hard to get or was she telling me she wasn't interested? |
Question: Why would a guy do this to his wife? Posted: 09 Aug 2018 07:45 AM PDT I teach a computer class. One of my students Betty ask me if I could drive her home after class. I said sure. As I drove up to her house. You could not call it a house. Mansion was a better description. I remarked "What a beautiful home you have". She said "I got it in my divorce when I caught my husband screwing his secretary". I like a woman that tells it like it is don't you? She insisted I come in for a cup of coffee and cake as her way of saying thank you. While talking and drinking the coffee I saw a picture of her on the wall being crowned Miss (our state). I told her what a beautiful picture and a well deserved honor. Then she showed me some pictures of other beauty contest she had won. I would sure like to see the secretary he lost a trophy wife for. She must be something else. Why would a guy with a wife that is this great looking and is such a nice person be caught screwing his secretary. He was not thinking with his head was he? He was probably thinking with another part of his body wasn't he? |
Question: Does this guy like me? Posted: 09 Aug 2018 07:04 AM PDT First off I am the type of girl that guys in general shy away from. I am built like a bulldozer and know how to break your arm if ya try to mess around with me. That being said there is a young man about two years older than me at my church that I think likes me. He will smile at me when we are talking in a group setting, I catch him glancing at me during the services, looking at me when he thinks my back is turned, occasionally locking eye with me, things of that nature. But when it comes to doing things one on one, like shaking hands, or talking, he avoids me like I am the black plague. He is the younger brother of my two best friends, and attending school. I know for a fact that he's not involved with anyone else because he said he tells all the girls at his school that he has a girlfriend already. (His dad told me he uses the family's goat as an excuse not to become involved.) Personally I think he's the greatest guy in the universe, as an amateur author I should be able to express my feelings.... but I can't. When he's around my language skills turn to mush. Since my mother is dead and my father is not the type to ask questions of I'm really lost on the subject of guys. Is this typical guy behavior? Or is there something going on here? |
Question: He has a girlfriend but so smitten and eyes brights up when he sees me? What's that? Posted: 09 Aug 2018 06:35 AM PDT I caught him staring at me too (not in creepy way) n found interested signs. Is he just an attention seeker? I actually likes him but I don't want to break any relationship. Why is he doing that? |
Question: Why a man giving interested signs if he already has a girlfriend? Posted: 09 Aug 2018 05:51 AM PDT He and I first met before he dated his current girlfriend. He's been showing me signs of interested and being smitten in front of me. We didn't just get any closer since the beginning... what is it? Is he playing with me? What should I do? |
Question: Long time friends yet she never? Posted: 09 Aug 2018 05:09 AM PDT We've lost contact but I random wonder why the friend I held on to longest (about 7 years) never told me who she liked or dated. We were friends since we were second graders. I would tell her, "I like this boy, I like that boy, I wish he was my boyfriend, etc." I wasn't boy crazy, but friends share these things with each other. She at most told me she liked someone's hair, then a few years later told me she was crushing on a guy who didn't go to our school. I always figured she wasn't interested in boys yet, but then I overheard a friend telling someone in our class who my best friend liked. I looked at her and she was embarrassed. Later I found out she used to go out with a friend she would talk to me about, but through another friend. I've never been a blabber mouth, she's known I barely have friends at school, too. |
Question: Does he just like looking at my breasts? Or does he actually want sex? Posted: 09 Aug 2018 04:57 AM PDT I sent this guy a picture of me wearing a bra. (My face wasn't in the picture). He said he really liked it and he wants another one. I'm not sure why he wants another one. I met him on his job I've been seeing him at the store for years. But it's just been recent that we started talking. We've been talking about meeting up for awhile. I told him when I was available and he said ok. He said he works three jobs. But I want him I want to actually meet up with him. |

Question: Is it wrong for me to feel like this? Posted: 09 Aug 2018 01:35 AM PDT I've always had a fear of getting left out. In the past I've even overreacted because I felt like I wasn't being included. Recently, I was looking through social media when one of my closest friends from school posted a screenshot of a chatroom. You see, this friend plus two others and I have kind of formed a little group. We talk to each other a lot. In the screenshot, I noticed that the chat was just those three. It had the exact same people as the chat us four use, except for me. I felt a little upset, because I usually end up talking first in the chat with all four of us, and yet they seem to talk between the three of them in the other. I know they have the right to have chats with anyone they want in them. Am I being unreasonable? What can I do when I feel this way? |
Question: Fight with my “best” friend? Posted: 09 Aug 2018 01:31 AM PDT My friend and I had a HUGE fight and are living together at a dancecamp for 4 more days. How do we get through it? |
Question: My best friend is becoming clingy and possessive: weird friendship dynamic? Posted: 08 Aug 2018 11:14 PM PDT Some background: im an 18 year old lesbian girl and my best friend is an 18 year old straight guy we've been close since we were 14. progressively he's been acting more strangely towards me and i don't know what to do as his behavior is beginning to scare me. he's been acting super (inappropriately) touchy and then denying it later on. he keeps offering to buy me things constantly, in a way that's beyond friendly, and even has been going as far as to show up to my home (an hour away from his) unannounced and refusing to leave when turned away. recently he tried to initiate phone sex with me and has exposed himself (y'know his junk) to me multiple times claiming it to be a joke. he goes batshit crazy when i hang with my family, other friends, or significant other. i've been avoiding him because of this and while i miss the company of my best friend dearly, i cant deal with this kind of stuff. all signs seem to point to him having a sort of 'crush' but as i'm not straight we aren't compatible romantically. we've gotten into fights over boundaries and he always backs up in the end, but i don't know if we can reconcile at this point. |
Question: Little friendship advice? Posted: 08 Aug 2018 11:11 PM PDT Note: this is all online. Someone I consider my best friend (Let s call her V?) recently made new friends in the past few weeks, who she seems to talk to very often. In the past, V and I talked frequently, nearly every day, but ever since she s made new friends I ve felt left out. I started ghosting V for a few days, (Which may have been a bad idea?) until she broke the silence and asked me if I disliked her. To this, I replied with a vague answer, that I lost interest in her. (Which wasn t true, I just didn t know what to say.) Was I a bad friend? I know I overreacted, but did I mess everything up? |
Question: My brother has no friends at his new school? How can I help him? Posted: 08 Aug 2018 10:23 PM PDT My brother is going to a different middle school then all of his friends, and one knows 2 kids from old sports team, however they both know other people at the school and have friends already. My brother told me that today, his first day, he sat by himself at lunch, and that just completely broke my heart. I told him he could try to make friends with the friends of the 2 boys he knows, but he seems kind of uninterested in that. I think he might just be shy, which is so out of character for him as he has always been the life of the party in every situation he's in. He has the greatest personality and has always been the best in the family at making new friends. I know it's only the first day, but I'm worried that if he doesn't make friends soon he'll start to resent school and become sad or depressed. Am I worrying to early as it's only the first day? How can I help him? |
Posted: 08 Aug 2018 10:09 PM PDT So this is a kinda last resort obiously but it's late rn and I'm kinda freaking out it's the end of summer and my sister has been drinking every night with her friend that's my age who is a horrible influence and she wouldn't even be doing this if it weren't for this friend. Btw she is going to be a senior in highschool and I'm going to be a sophomore. But anyway I have never seen her like this drunk before I honestly don't know if she has taken something but she is scaring me and I am so sad and hyperventilating and crying because i honestly don't know what to do. See me and my sister live in a small town and she is pretty popular but she is bitchy and I'm the opposite of her and I just don't know what I should do... let her drink or what should I tell her she is hurting me. |
Question: Had a fun and very long second date with a girl. Now what do I do? Posted: 08 Aug 2018 09:38 PM PDT We had a fun time talking and hanging out. It lasted into the early morning. The thing I'm concerned about is that I may have caused her to think ill of me and change her mind about a third date. So towards the end of the night I asked if she wanted to pray for each other. She sat up and said you can at home....not something she was interested in and believed it was just for when you're intimate. I agreed with her and I've always followed that standard myself. So I'm upset with myself because she might think I asked because I felt intimate but it was just a nice gesture I thought. I wasn't thinking that way. Also she asked if I've prayed with a girl before...quickly thinking I said no I don't think so. Then she replied "interesting ". So I'm sure now she thinks I'm nuts for asking or it's making her think it's a red flag or something. We were talking about church and spiritual stuff all night so that is why I asked. So, what should be my response? Should I explain why I asked? Should I just not talk to her anymore? Just not bring it up? Or should I just assume she won't go on the third date with me. I've texted once and no response after one day. I know she gets busy and has done this before but in light of that night I'm concerned. Would she negate everything fun and good over a harmless thing like that? Thanks for any advice |
Question: Could my bestfriend like me? Posted: 08 Aug 2018 09:04 PM PDT I have this best friend I haven't seen since I was 16 I'm now 21 he's 22 we have been best friends for a really long time and talk a lot. I've thought about him Since we met every day and when we talk I get really happy and smile the rest of the day.. I don't know if he could possibly feel the same way.. I have kids so I'm not sure how he would feel about that. I don't know how to hint anything or bring it up or what to say someone help me |
Question: Am I making the right move? [ 2 Friends]? Posted: 08 Aug 2018 08:16 PM PDT I have these friends who I have spent 7 years of my life with them. We go to different high schools. I am now a sophomore (rising junior) (girl). During sophomore year I took ap world so I couldn't text them most days. But I always made sure to text her on the weekends. It was until late 2017 that I noticed that she started listening to music we hated. And I was weirded out. It just took me by surprise. Thanksgiving rolled around and they posted on snapchat who they were grateful for. Basically it was all their new friends and family members and I wasn't there (not jealous or anything). I waited 2 hours (I still wasn't there) and after I wished them a happy thanksgiving, they placed me in their story. Then around spring of 2018, they changed the way they dressed, they went out to social events (stuff they never did with me because they "hated it"). The last time they ever texted me was in April. Not one single text during summer. They saw my Snapchat stories but no texts. After the AP scores came and I passed (in july) I placed my score on my Snapchat story and they saw it. They didn't congratulate me or anything. 2 weeks later they posted how they were proud of their other friend getting a job. And I wasn't jealous, I was just p*ssed off. I'm thinking of blocking them from all of my social media accounts. Maybe if they had shown their true colors when we were still together, I wouldn't be as mad, but I don't think this is working out. I know ppl change, but this is 2 much |
Posted: 08 Aug 2018 07:45 PM PDT My friend Jon and I haven't spoken in 4 months. The last time we hung out, it was MY idea, so u know: it's "his turn". He messaged me last night on Facebook at midnight to ask about some restaurant we once went to—not inviting me, just wanting to know the name. I replied back mid-morning w/ the name of the place and said: "How've you been? Long time, no hear." He replied back: "Busy. Yeah I know." That's it. Should I get salty and message back: "You're welcome." Seriously. The boy is rude, am I right? *He didn't even say "THANKS"!!!!! |

Question: I’m worried about my friend please help? Posted: 08 Aug 2018 07:28 PM PDT Ok so my best friend is a diabetic and at times she says she feels like her legs are going to fall off and I think that might be from the diabetes. She told me today that she felt like her legs were going to fall off and she eats whatever she wants and she did go on a diet but she quit after a few days and she never went back on it. She's 58 and I really don't want to lose her. I've already lost my aunt recently. I've been worried about my best friend for a long time. Does anyone have any advice for me? |
Question: What do I do to make it up to my friend? Posted: 08 Aug 2018 06:53 PM PDT 2 of my friends almost got into a fight today. Both threatened each other, so I tried to stop it by threatening them both. I feel so horrible because I lashed out mainly at one friend rather than both. That one friend has always been kind to me and he was only trying to defend himself because the other friend threatened first. I didn t see it that way at the moment, i saw it as equal potential danger from both sides. It wasn t till later that it hit me and now I feel horrible. In case your still confused, I lashed out at the kind friend more because at the moment, I was more worried about the other friend rather than both.. I really want to make it up to my kind friend, I don t want him to feel bad because he isn t at fault. I Should I just avoid both of them altogether? I sit with the kind friend at lunch with other friends but would me sitting there be like pretending nothing happened? What do I do to make it up to him? I apologized at first but actions speak louder than words and he kept saying it was fine when it was obvious that it wasn t. What do I do? |
Question: *Help* I was removed from group chat and feel horrible. Advice? Posted: 08 Aug 2018 06:50 PM PDT One of the members of my group chat schooled me for being wrong about a certain topic. I decided to look it up and I was wrong. I was going to tell him I was sorry for being wrong, but when I returned to my groupchat to see what was going on, I saw that he took it open with other people and called me a retard, which pissed me off. We argued back and forth for a bit and I tried to be as calm and reasonable. Other guys told me not to take seriously because it was stupid. Then some guy removed me from group chat. The other the other guy got to stay, so I assume he was friends with everybody. I feel borrible after this and now I'm questioning if my social skills are horrible. Im looking for advice too. Please help. Thanks |

Question: Should my friends pay for themselves? Posted: 08 Aug 2018 03:38 PM PDT i'm going out to eat for my 17th birthday and want to take a few friends. Would it be rude to ask them to pay for themselves because we are all young teenagers? We would be going to a fancy restaurant as well |
