My friends tell me to cut him off because if my parents find out that we're still in touch we'll both get in trouble. but i can't let go of him. and people say that being friends with your ex is a bad thing and that it might affect any future hopes of being back together as a couple. Im lost and i don't know who i should listen and a stranger's advice might come in handy |

To make a long story short, I said I liked her more than a friend one night (three years ago) when I was drunk. She thought about it for a couple days but ultimately said she was happy where she was. She was cool about it and nothing really changed after that night. However, two years ago, life got in the way and we disconnected. A year ago I reached out to her and we started talking again (on Skype), returning to our usual deep, mind-enriching exchanges. Nine weeks ago we had a convo that lasted for hours and ended well into the morning. Everything is seemingly great again. Well, a couple weeks pass and I see her active online, so I drop her a line. I don't get a response. Over the next eight weeks I send a total of three messages. I know that she sees all of them because it says she's been online when I go to chat with my other friends. Last night she's online at the same time, so I ask her if everything is okay. She responds and tells me that I'm being "awfully persistent". I rebuttal and say 5 messages over 9 weeks is hardly persistent, and that she had been quiet and I wanted to make sure everything was ok. That conversation last night ends up being brief and not stimulating. Am I crazy for thinking something is wrong with her? Should I confront her? Or let her be? |

I only go over to their house a couple times a month cause they live 40 minutes away and my mom dosent like driving me around places farther than 20 minutes away. Things were going well with the exception of a few issues. He always took a long time to respond to my messages and he only seemed to respond to me at night, especially when he wanted to get things going. About a week ago, he told me that he was sorry for being distant and so busy. I replied by telling him that it was okay and that I understood. Then I told him that we should go to bed and we could catch up some other time. I haven't heard from him since. I've texted him twice and he hasn't responded. Did I do something to back him away or am I just jumping to conclusions? |

Posted: 09 Aug 2017 06:46 PM PDT I'm 18 years old (I'll be 19 next week), and I JUST discovered that my best friend's {single} dad has a crush on me. He's in late 30s/early 40s, and he's super nice. He always talks to me because I frequently go over to her house, but after my friend told me she found out about his crush on me, I feel a lot different about him. Yeah, he'a hot (she's been told that about her dad a lot) but that's besides the point. WHAT DO I DO?? Do I confront him about it? I can't just let this slip past me because now that i think about it, it's been pretty obvious all along. I don't want this to ruin our friendship. |

Posted: 09 Aug 2017 06:45 PM PDT My guy friend at work always sits beside me on our breaks but this week he sat on the other side of the table all the way at the end and instead of talking with everyone he put his earphones in ... and I sat where I usually sit. And since he didn't sit beside me I started talked to other people that was around me. Before break ended I texted him even though he was at the end of the table my text said "I miss our conversations you haven't sat with me this week" he texted back "yeah right you don't miss me" and I replied "yes I do" and he said "you act like you can't say nothing to me right now though" and I said "you have your earphones in and you sat all the way at the end of the table" and he texted back "I told ya im trying to get away from the flies in this cafeteria ya thought i was lying that's why I didn't sit over there" And I texted back " well I miss you sitting with me" and he said "it doesn't seem like it but I miss you too" Tl:DR; I feel like he's mad at something I did in this scenario but I'm not sure as to what because I decided to back off of him and give him space. |

Is there any problem? Then when I get home, I notice that the thoughts of I saw come to me rather than coming to me right away when I see it. Let me know what you think about the problem. |

He have a great relationship with his son mother . Which is a great thing. But one day I went through the phone record .yes I know I shouldn't have done that . I seen that they talk and text all the time. Sometime after 12am. And I seen conversation last almost a hour. He express to me she like his bff. Sometimes he need her opinion before he does things. Just seen like she really involved in everything . trying not to be the jealous girlfriend but this just seen too much. What should I do if anything? |

| Question: How do I stop over thinking so I can have a happy sex life or life in general? Posted: 09 Aug 2017 06:32 PM PDT So, when I was young, I really disliked my mom, becuase she was mean and nasty to me and never let me have fun becuase of all her mental problems. And my dad didn't really help out, he was there to take care of the bills and put food on the table. When I was in high school, I was called a n*gger, and every girls I attempted to ask out, even though they were white, didn't give me a chance. I also had no chance of getting sex. That was about 7 years ago, now I've gotten really buff and I'm starting to get attention from girls finally at 23 years old and putting myself out there. I've kissed about 20 girls as in made out, but I think I have anxiety, because I can't stop over thinking everything, like the Only time I don't worry about anything and I can talk to girls without worrying about sh*t is if I drink patron. Just get a buzz going. And I drink everyday. And I like the feeling. I don't have to worry about rejection or worry about what anybody thinks, I feel free. Im really tired of overthinking this. If it wasn't for that. I would be able to have more sex more than just 1 time so far and it's been a year in a half. Most of them time, when I have any contact with girls, it involved alcohol. Which I really don't see what's bad about it. I feel better. So what should I do? I'm just tired of being afraid of girls for no reason at all. It's not me and I shouldn't be like this at 23 years old. |

| Posted: 09 Aug 2017 06:30 PM PDT I am in a horrible position which is all my own doing and I can't believe I waited this long. For a couple years I've liked a girl and have wanted to ask her out. I tried once and just couldn't get it out, but now I'm 5 weeks away from starting university and she is too in completely different cities. My only form of contact with her is social media messaging. I want to tell her how I feel, or at least ask her out for a date cause that's the same thing really but the timing is awful. I could arrange it is a one time thing but if she rejects I won't know if it's because she never liked me or because the timing is wrong. My head is scrambled about it and I don't know what to do. I suppose I should enter her messages and ask her out, but don't know how I should enter. Any advice? I know if I don't tell my first crush I like her I'll regret it for a long time, if not the rest of my life. Thanks for any help |
