Question: Do you think that this dress style would be appropriate for my 2nd wedding? Posted: 02 Oct 2015 06:04 PM PDT My partner/fiance and I have been together for 20 years and we have 4 kids. Their ages are 17, 15, 14, and 14. We are planning our self-uniting wedding and reception for this coming December in Colorado. We're trying to decide if we want to wear formal or informal attire for our ceremony. I thought that something in between might be more suited and appropriate for our situation. I found this dress on David's Bridal, and I thought that it was lovely style. Here is the link to the dress: http://www.davidsbridal.com/Product_one-shoulder-satin-dress-with-beaded-detail-f15133_bridesmaid-dresses-bridesmaid-dresses-under-%24100 Do you think that this dress style would be appropriate for my 2nd wedding? Edit: We went through the big wedding experience with our first spouses. So were not interested in really formal attire for our wedding. |
Question: Is it wrong that I want to do my own big reveal at my friends wedding? Posted: 02 Oct 2015 06:01 PM PDT My friend is getting married and I have always been this girl to dress frumpy and recently I got an amazing make over is it wrong for me to have my big moment at gw wedding? |
Question: I want to get married but boyfriend doesn't want to yet, how do we proceed? Posted: 02 Oct 2015 05:37 PM PDT My boyfriend has told me he wants us to get married eventually, but not yet. I don't want to get married TODAY, but I'd like to in a year and a half or two year, so I'd like to get engaged now and start making arrangements. However, he keeps saying no! What do we do? Do I just have to wait until he's ready because he's the man and is supposed to make the decisions? We're in our 20's and live together. |

Question: Should we invite my brother and his family to our wedding? Posted: 02 Oct 2015 03:34 AM PDT My partner/fiance and I have been together for 20 years, and we have 4 kids together. Their ages are 17, 15, 14, and 14. We are planning a self-uniting wedding ceremony, followed by a meal at a 5 star restaurant in Colorado. We had originally thought to only bring our kids and a photographer with us, but my partner/fiance suggested that we invite my brother and his family. My partner/fiance grew up in foster care, and he doesn't know any of his biological family. The only family I have left is my brother and his family. I didn't think that it was fair to invite my brother, when my partner/fiance won't have any family there at all (except for our children). My fiance pointed out that since my brother and his family live in northern Colorado, we should invite them down for the 4 day weekend that were going to be in Colorado getting married. He says that since they are my only family, they should be invited. Besides my brother really likes my partner/fiance, and I adore my brother's wife. I'm still unsure about it. What do you think? @ Me and my partner/fiance are currently in college completing our bachelor's degrees. We're taking off a week from work, when our kids are out of school for Christmas, but were only to be in Colorado for 4 days. We won't be going on our honeymoon until sometime next summer, and that will only be for a few days. |
Posted: 01 Oct 2015 06:37 PM PDT And then also, the man doesn't have a wedding ring, either. But that's just it, who needs a ring? It's ridiculous! I don't even wear rings. I hate the way they feel on my finger. It's irritating and constricting. Makes me just wanna shake shake shake my hand and shake the damn thing off. Am I missing something here?? |
Question: Would I seriously make my fiancee look like a hooker by asking her to wear this? Posted: 01 Oct 2015 03:52 PM PDT I am getting married soon and I asked my fiancee to wear a chinese cheongsam dress for our wedding reception. I found a youtube video of a beauty pageant in china and one of the contestant wore something that I really like. The contestant was wearing a blue floor length chinese cheongsam dress with some 6 or 7 inch heels and some chinese hairpins. The contestant in the video is not the one in the front row and she is the one in the second row and is the third person from the right. My friends told me that I am gonna make her look like a hooker by asking her to wear this. They said these shoes are so trashy and will not go well with the dress. I don't get why they think that because I think these shoes are worn in a classy way. Would I seriously make her look like a hooker by asking her to wear what this girl is wearing in this video ? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aXwhx28mjlU |
