Question: As a parent, how much should you tip a wedding babysitter? Posted: 30 Oct 2015 07:43 PM PDT My husband and I are in a wedding and the bride s parents are paying for a babysitter so we can take part in events such as the bridal brunch, rehearsal & dinner, wedding prep, and wedding. About 9 hours one day and 12 the next. She will have my 1 year old the whole time and my 4 year old half the time. How much should we tip her, especially not knowing what the bride s parents are paying her? |

Question: Ideas on shapewear to hide monsterous spare tire for wedding dress fitting? Posted: 30 Oct 2015 01:52 PM PDT I am so excited to start looking for wedding dresses on November 7th. The only thing I'm worried so much about is hiding the spare tire I have. I am about a size 14 unfortunately, and the spare tire is my worst issue. I am thinking about going with an A-Line Corset dress anyway to help. |
Question: I need some destination wedding advice and help!? Posted: 30 Oct 2015 12:37 PM PDT Fiance and I live in CO, but want to go to OR with some close family members and tie the knot there. We really don't want a "wedding" as much as just looking for someone to marry us in front of a lighthouse or something with some family there to witness. Should I get my marriage license in CO before going to OR? Will I need an OR marriage license too? I don't know anything. Just tell me anything you think I should know, I need all the help I can get. |
Question: Getting married in the LDS Temple? Posted: 30 Oct 2015 08:40 AM PDT A long story short. My husband and I have been married four years. We have a three year old daughter. We have had a very difficult marriage and we almost got divorced. We both turn our lives around and have gotten back into our religous roots which has saved our marriage. We will be getting sealed in the temple very soon. We had even been separated for a year. This may sound extremely dumb. I wondering if getting a whole new wedding dress would be stupid. It's kind of like a new beginning. Also our wedding pictures didn't turn out great. There aren't any of just my husband and I alone. So I was also thinking it as a way to get some new photos. Or should I just use my original dress? |
Posted: 30 Oct 2015 06:55 AM PDT So I'm trying to,decide between a Mexican inspired wedding ,or a skate wedding. Me and my fiance love skateboarding and that's kinda how we met. And we love the ideas we found. But we also like a very Mexican themed wedding since we are very close to our traditions and our family liked it. You can look up more about the themes on Pinterest cause I can't upload all the images. |
Posted: 30 Oct 2015 05:51 AM PDT Hi, I have some questions regarding getting married in Greece. I'm an American ( My grandfather is full Greek ) and next year, I will be getting married to a Greek man. we would really prefer not getting married in a church, we would rather to get married outside, but I have heard that might not be possible. Also, I would like to have the priest do the ceremony in English, so me and my American family can understand too, but I have also heard that might not be possible either. Is there any information as to whether or not we can get married outside of a church with the ceremony in English? Thanks! Both me and my fiancee are Greek Orthodox. I guess I will either buckle up or check with the thing about the mayor. Thank you all for your wonderful answers We're only getting married here for our family. We're not getting married here because it's the "dream" of getting married in Greece and how cute, sweet and romantic. Actually. My fiancee and I are both not really religious. We were hoping for a simple wedding with our immediate family outside somewhere. I personally think the churches are too fancy. If we wanted a traditional Greek wedding, I wouldn't be asking if we could do it outside and elsewhere. |
