Question: How do I know if my husband give the divorce papers to the court? Posted: 18 Oct 2015 07:42 PM PDT My Husband of 8 years filed for the divorce on Sept 8, 2015. He filed it as uncontested divorce since we don't owe any properties and etc. He serve me the divorce and it broke my heart into pieces. We got married young at age 20. Throughout our marriage we habe problems just like a typical marriage does: money, lack of communication, not spending times together, taking each other for granted and misunderstanding. We lost our first baby through miscarriage last year. It was very deversated. It took us 7 years to conceived. We wanted children but because of my issues, it was hard to conceive a child. I went crazy and became obsessed with trying again for a baby. Then after 2.5 months since I lost the baby. He wants a divorce, he was not willing to work things out with me. Our love was pure and true, because of unexpected life events we allow to let our ego, anger, took over our marriage.. So he came home and on Sept 11, 2015 I signed the divorce paper and had it notarized. I didn't want the divorce but he demands it. I don't want to force him to stay marry with me when he said he doesn't love me. I gave him the paper and went back to my parent's house. In Texas, it takes 61 days for my divorce to be finalized. My divorce will be finalized on November 8...but I don't know if he give the paper to the court clerk...how can I check? |
Posted: 18 Oct 2015 07:25 PM PDT I have received a settlement and now my ex-wife is threatening to call the insurance company to tell the that I was faking the injury. Can she get in trouble for doing this because I won't give her any money. Its was taking a long time to receive my settlement so she decided to file for a divorce after she admitted to sleeping with two other guys amongst other things also saying that I wouldn't get my settlement until next year or two so I'm just dead weight. it has been two months now since we both signed the papers and I will receive my settlement next week. The divorce should be final soon. |

Question: How do I get over the loss/death of my ex husband? Posted: 18 Oct 2015 05:31 PM PDT This happened 4 years ago and I just found out about it yesterday from a mutual Facebook friend. Anyhoo he was a police officer investigating a motorcycle accident and an oncoming car driven by a drunk driver hit him and he died at the hospital. I watched the old news report, footage of the funeral and pictures on Youtube. We always had a strong connection even after we broke up we were good friends. I still feel a wash of comfort come over me and I think of him everytime I feel a cool breeze? What happened to my one answer? Dammit! I didn't report it as a violation. I just said I would NOT be "celebrating" because we were still close friends. I only see my shrink every 2 months and I just saw her. |
Question: My wife signed over custody of our children? Posted: 18 Oct 2015 05:06 PM PDT My wife has been keeping me from seeing my kids. I have seen them maybe once every four or five months for the last two years. We are separated, but not legally. She has been living with a boyfriend, but the recently split up. Last time they came down, she said she was homeless and had nowhere for the children to go, so of course I gladly took them. A few days later, she took them out of my house and disappeared with them again. I have just discovered that she has signed over temporary custody to her ex-boyfriend s mother, who is in no way related to them. Is this legal? Can I just keep my kids the next time I see them? Does she have any rights to them now? I live in Georgia. |

Question: Is this normal for a wife to do this, or she has mental problems? Posted: 18 Oct 2015 03:31 PM PDT She left home without reason and won't come back at any cost from a year ago, no matter how much you treat her good, she keeps saying that she never wants to return home, she just wants to be friends, she doesn't divorce and won't come back...Also she keeps promising about doing things but after couple of days or a month she acts like she never promised which means that she says about doing things but later changes her mind...what makes her act like this, is it possible that she's suffering mental issues?? |

Question: My husband wont communicate? Posted: 18 Oct 2015 02:54 PM PDT I have alot going wrong with my marriage. Its to the point where i think i need to leave but i cant. I cant bc i still love him i want to be with him and i dont want to separate for our child but that isnt the main reason. Every weekend when hes time off is over its time to go back to work he treats me like sh*t. Emotionally. He doesnt ever communicate with me if i try he rolls his eyes or says something along the lines of dont start. Any argument he tells me its ny fault bc of my mouth. I try to do better as a wife i dnt cook as good as him but i make sure theres food on the table. Anything can make him angry i feel as if i have to tip toe around him as well as our kid. We might have sex once a week which im fine with even longer if need be but what hurts is im the one that wants him. I try to spice things up but he never goes for it. He says i always want him which i dont always especially in the mornings (the only time he does). He doesnt want to cuddle with me or kiss me he does the usual good bye kiss and says thts enough. Im just hurt. I dont want to leave but i think its time. He blames me for having to work. He blames me for everything. I cant do right by him. He used to not be this way. He used to be good to me thats what i want back. I need people to talk to i dont have friends or family. Im stuck im depressed unhappy. I dont no were to turn. |

Question: Had an affair with my coworker, how can I fix this please .? Posted: 18 Oct 2015 01:45 PM PDT I've been married for 7 years , Im 28 and my husband is 33 I have 2 boys . I made a huge mistake and it tearing me apart. 2 weeks ago I went to my co workers office/ home to discuss business only business. I told my husband a day before and he trusted me enough to approve of me going. Before I went I always knew my coworker had a thing for me for quite sometime but I felt I was I control. When I went he was really sweet. Giving me complements on my hair , makeup you name it . I was flattered but I really wanted to discuss actual business . we talked a good 30 mins and then he went off track again, so I told him I would come back another time . I walked to his office door and he closed it and turned me around . he told me sorry and then he kissed me and started grabbing me. Next thing you know we had sex . I went home as if nothing happened and the next day I balled . if my husband finds out, this is going to destroy my family and me too. I made a mistake how do i fix it please |

Question: Why do Muslims defend Muhammad for having sex with a 9 year old? Posted: 18 Oct 2015 12:39 PM PDT If it was okay back then then why shouldn't it be now? Also don't bring up Mary because she was pregnant with Jesus at 14 and she was a virgin. Also there is a huge difference between 14 and 9. How can any normal man find a 9 year old attractive? And I understand back then it was normal for women to marry young but they were usually at least 13 and not 9. And he may have socially evolved, but we are the same biologically. Men still find the same things attractive and I understand men finding teenage girls attractive because they are physically mature, but a 6-9 year old is a child and if you can't see something wrong with that even 1000 years ago then you are also sick in the head. Just be like Habiba and admit it's wrong, but you accept it. |
Question: Does my husband love me? Posted: 18 Oct 2015 12:06 PM PDT Married for 2 years now but been together for 6 years. He tells me he loves almost everyday when we are not fighting. I sometimes get scared when he gets really angry. He'll call me names like ***** and retard (he called me that today when we argued). He has choke a couple times in our marriage. Today he lifted me from behind and squeeze my stomach so tight that I almost threw up and it hurt for a little while. I told him in tears that it hurt and he just kept arguing with me and said he doesn't care and that he doesn't want to argue. he doesn't apologize to me when he hurts me or chokes me when we are fighting. He doesn't care when I cry. He did actually apologize one time when we were fighting because he slapped me and hit me with a bat on my head and left a bump. He said it was an accident but I don't believe him because he was really angry at that time where he broke our front door. I felt terrified of him every time he'll try to hold me or touch me. He kept apologizing but it just gave me flashbacks of the times he choked me. I don't like showing others when I cry so I just go to the room every time the roommate comes home. We would go all day without talking or seeing each other after we fight. He basically ignores me all time. I feel really lonely at times. I thought about leaving but I do love him and don't want our kids to go thru a divorce. He's not always like this. He does show me he loves me. I just don't know what to do anymore. |
Question: Why won't my husband clean himself? Posted: 18 Oct 2015 10:59 AM PDT He's a real slob. He stinks and doesn't shave. Barely brushes his teeth and goes to work in dirty and wrinkled clothing but is in a professional office setting. I tell him to clean up but he says I'm crazy!! |
Question: Husband ruined everyone's plans, his fault? Posted: 18 Oct 2015 10:33 AM PDT My husband and I talked about him taking our son to his scout event outside in the forest to hike. I am 6 months pregnant and having trouble w/my legs + I am handicapped and told my mother that I would take her to a party at her neighbors house (she has trouble walking too). Last minute yesterday, his mother announced that his entire family (including grandparents who are in from up north) would be coming to church and going out to lunch. Instead of checking with me (I told the mom we cant make it but they didnt call back) and telling them we already had plans, he told them yes! we will go to lunch. I am now stuck (preg/crippled) taking our son to hike where I could fall and my mother had to cancel her plans all because he wanted a free dinner with his family. Do I have a right to be angry @ him for this stunt? Since people want to be judgmental, they better know the facts before throwing stones. My mother just had a knee replacement and wrist implant surgery, therefore she is crippled and cannot walk. She cannot walk unassisted and is elderly. Geez people are rude! |
Question: How can I stop my clothes from smelling bad/musty out of the dryer? Posted: 18 Oct 2015 10:24 AM PDT So I always wash my clothes in cold water and use enough detergent, and when I transfer them from the washer to the dryer I smell them and they always smell fresh. However, after I take them out of the dryer they have this nasty, musty smell to them and I don't know how to prevent it. I've heard that this may be caused by washing the clothes cold as it doesn't kill the bacteria, but most of my clothes are colors and I can't wash them on warm or hot because I don't want them to get ruined. Also I always remove the lint in the dryer before the next cycle, so that is not the problem. Anyone have an idea on how to fix this? |

Posted: 18 Oct 2015 07:28 AM PDT Our relationship has been on the rocks for a little bit. Back in 2012 he went away for 2 weeks with the military and he wouldn't text me till 1 or 2 and it was about a girl that was a lesbian and I thought he was cheating, so I went and hung out with my supervisor and we talked about mine and his relationship issues at the park after that we went back to his house and then watched a movie and I ended up spending the night at his house and slept in his bed feet to face we never messed around. My husband considers that cheating, When I left for basic he ended up sleeping with another girl and said all he thought about was me and he felt so bad. I got over it so I thought and we were living happily and got married well the summer that we got married he ended up telling the next door neighbor about how he felt awful for cheating on me and well the next door neighbor got both of us drink 1 night and ended up twisting my husbands words and I was drunk so I ended up doing something with him and my husband caught us. We managed to work it out and start doing better well November of he punched me in the face the week before thanksgiving and I tried to get over it but it kept taunting me when he would drink so I decided on xmas day that I couldn't deal with it and I was going to file for divorce. While I was in that process I was talking to other guys and he begged me to come home so I did, Now he says he cant get over the past and he is talking to some1 else how to I fix my marriage |

Question: Husband selling his boat, says I have to pay back money if used? Posted: 18 Oct 2015 06:52 AM PDT My husband is trying to sell his boat and trailer. Last week, due to HIS error- he got suspended from work (truck driver) for speeding in the rig. We are now short a bunch of money this week for bills and dont know what to do. I told him if he sold that old boat and trailer, we could use the money to pay our bills like we need to. He said "this is just a loan to you, you are expected to pay this back because I need to buy another project vehicle" (he has had 3-4 of these and all have had such major issues that we have taken a huge loss on them and sold them ($ we will never get back). So, can he honestly tell me this? |
Question: Would receiving a gift like this offend you or would you laugh? Posted: 18 Oct 2015 06:24 AM PDT In the midwest/great lakes region of the U.S. we celebrate a holiday on the 3rd Saturday in October "Sweetest Day" which is basically a second Valentines day. Anyway, my husband had some wall art made for me that says exactly what the one in the attached picture says only a little more fancy and I got a few comments of how sad or bad it was for a relationship to say that. It totally made laugh when I read it because it's something I'd say to him. I'm not defensive about it, I like it and it still makes me laugh. I'm not very high maintenance, I'm not into jewelry, chocolates, flowers (though I appreciate him and them when he does) or things of that nature which he knows so it fit me. |
Posted: 18 Oct 2015 05:57 AM PDT I have been patient and I bust my tail when I am home to give her a break. I tell her she is pretty, give her massages, day at the spa, etc... However I told her that I feel we don't have a relationship and we don't talk anymore. She said its cause she is around the kids all day and is tired. I'm hoping this changes when she goes back to work. Because I cannot take not having some one to be intimate with. And not just sex actually romance. Wanted to see if anyone has similar experience? |
Posted: 18 Oct 2015 05:56 AM PDT My ex-husband and I were married for 12 years, before I kicked him to the curb (cheating, lying, gambling). We have 4 children together. We are retired military and disabled vets. My ex-husband was a petroleum engineer, and I'm a teacher. My ex-husband quit his very high paying job, as soon as he found out that I was filing for a divorce. He now lives on his military pension, and VA compensation. I have have to support our children by myself, because I make more money than he does. He said that he quit his job, because he didn't want to pay me child support. He says that since I left him, I should have all of the financial burden as well. I told my ex-husband that he was a jerk for leaving me to face all of the financial strain by myself. He just laughed at me, and told me that's what I get for leaving him. Well I would rather be alone, than be with someone who could potentially kill me with his behavior. |

Question: Help my gf is super fatigued. Just gave birth.? Posted: 18 Oct 2015 05:11 AM PDT My girlfriend gave birth to our baby one week ago. She is best feeding and increasingly fatigued. Last night it became to much, and she started acting funny. I have told her she is not allowed to do anything other than sleep and breastfeed. She keeps waking up and is having difficulties sleeping. Additionally she is saying she feels like throwing up, and is acting very crazy. Saying thing about how she is talking to people who are not here and possibly seeing things too. She told me to keep it down because Drew (me) was trying to sleep. I don t know her doctor, but I m sure I can figure it out. Should I take her into the hospital? I m worried about our baby because we are breastfeeding. Should I just go to formula? How can I help her get to sleep? |

Question: Is it right or wrong? Posted: 18 Oct 2015 01:25 AM PDT My wife knew from the very beginning that I was not the religious type , I told her that right to her face . I then told her that I would go every other weekend to church , she agreed to that . My off weekend would arrive and she'd be upset that I wasn't going . I then felt guilted in to going to church . ( I have no interest in religion but I DO BELIEVE that I'd rather be a wolf of Odin than a lamb of god .) So I would tag along unhappily on what would have been my off weekends just to please her and be some "positive image " for her 4 " kids" ( whom are completely discombobulated and most likely have no real interest in religion . ) but they don't ever follow along cause they are so easily distracted . Anyway, I told her recently that I had never had any genuine interest in studying or going to church to begin with and again that I only went to make her happy . She doesn't always follow bible principles and always tells me that the bible is what is keeping us married . Is it wrong of her to waive separation in my face for not being genuinely interested in "God" |
Question: Violent and manipulative wife. What do I do? Posted: 18 Oct 2015 12:57 AM PDT Our marriage started out fine. I never did anything to my wife, but over time she grew an ego and became self centered. I started with putting me down in front of others. Later she would hit me in the back of the head like I was an idiot. It always made her feel stronger picking on me. Later she would hit me for real if I made a mistake and began manipulating people into thinking I'm a bad person. I swore divorce and she swore if I tried she would cry rape just to bust me. I feel helpless and pathetic. What can I do to escape my wife? Why is she doing this to me? |

Question: Ramadan: will Allah SWT punish the sheep? Posted: 17 Oct 2015 11:25 PM PDT The cattle that follow orders but never question and commit war crimes? I know that for example who ever plans wars like Iraq and Afghanistan and destroys a generation of youth and causes destruction and chaos that affects the lives of million of people will go to hell What about the soldiers who end up having PTSD or come back and say oh we didn't know its like that or what about those who kill others accidentally I believe they should all go to hell, but will Allah SWT forgive those people? Not to mention that whatever happened in the Middle East led to ISIS, Saddam would have never let a group like ISIS rise to power. I live in the US and I realised how many people I know and close to in college were actually in the army and I'm thinking of boycotting them although they are nice to me just because they participated in the murder of my muslim brothers and sisters overseas |

Question: Why is wife upset I watch porn when she won t have sex anymore? Posted: 17 Oct 2015 09:55 PM PDT I m more so asking other married women who might have gone through, or are going through, the same thing, so I can get some insight into what s going on. Essentially, about 4 months ago, she started rebuffing all of my advances. She was never in the mood, too tired, or whatever else. We didn t have any fights around that time, and no big changes have occured. She s gain a little weight, and I ve gotten pretty fit, but the weight is so miniscule, and I constantly remind her how beautiful she is. I ve tried to talk to her multiple times about this, how it s actually causing me pain at some points, and starting to really crush my confidence despite working out so hard and losing weight / gaining muscle. Still, she always brushes it off like it s not big deal, and getting annoyed with me when I insist it is becoming a problem. Then I took matters into my own hands (no pun intended), and just turned back to porn to get it over and done with so I m not aroused and aching whenever I m laying next to her. She found out about this because she noticed I wasn t bringing it up anymore, so I just told her I masturbate when I get the urge, and accomplish it with porn. Now she s mad but STILL will not address her complete lack of sexual interest. Any ideas? |
Question: Am I right to be weirded out by my GF s family and want to leave her for it? Posted: 17 Oct 2015 07:57 PM PDT So I have been dating a girl for a few weeks. I went to her dad's house in Odessa, TX not knowing anything really about her family except that she has 3 siblings. In my short time at her house I found it to be incredibly dysfunctional and outright weird. Let me start off by saying I'm not lying about this. To start her brothers are her half brothers (2 of them) and she has a full blood sister. The mom cheated on the dad with a police officer when my GF was 8, and ended up marrying him. My GF's dad ended up marrying my GF's mom's MOTHER. So that's right. My GF's step mother is her GRANDMOTHER. To make things even weirder both sides of the family were there and they all seemed super invasive into her life asking inappropriate questions about us in front of me, telling me how they are going to have us move out there or else they will move near us. That was some of the more minor stuff. Then at night her FIFTEEN YEAR OLD BROTHER threw a fit because he wanted to sleep in bed w/ my her. She let him. I found this really weird and inappropriate. Should I end things now? I really like / liked her but I don't know if I'm wasting my time because these people would make me go crazy. |
