When he visited home his friends sent messages from his phone, they called me all sorts of vile things and told me I'd be getting attacked when they visit. I blocked my ex and his friends. I've had no apology since, it was all because I ended it and they thought I was horrible by doing so. |

I hung around a particular boy during a camping trip for a whole day and thought we were friends, then when we came back he seemed to be avoiding me. Then I realised - maybe was it the fact that I was too "clingy" since I was around him a lot? A whole evening/night and the following morning/noon. Would that be a lot for guys? Now at school I'm always trying to run into him in the hallways and say hi and things like that...would that be "sticky" or "clingy"? I don't think I've had this issue with other guys... Would it help if I just gave him some space? I understand that girls - well, they need personal space, but they don't seem to mind you being around a lot that much...but boys seem to be a completely different specie, especially teenage boys...so I have no clue...(Although he did hang around me a lot too, those two days, so it's even more confusing!)... |

So basically I've been in college now for almost 2 months. I go to a really large school (40,000). I went random for my roommate, and although the two of us are SUPER close now after only 2 months (I consider her a very close friend), the problem is she doesn't like to party. She doesn't drink and she can sometimes be a bit introverted and anti-social, which is sort of the opposite of me. Anyway, the people in my dorm all befriended each other (they're you're typical fraternity and sorority types, the ones who party ALL the time and thats it), and I never clicked with a single one of them. Both my roommate and I however befriended a few guys down the hall, however, who, while are nice and I get along with them, are not my type of people- don't like to party either, and a bit on the "geekier" side (sorry I don't mean to sound mean but its true). So now I have a few people I'm friends with and a really close friend, but I still feel like I'm missing the social aspect of college since I've only been to one party so far and spend almost all my nights here studying and at best going out to dinner with my roommate. I've joined clubs and didn't make any friends in those, no one in my classes. I'm not shy, and I'm attractive, but I still don't click with people or get invited to parties. Is this what the rest of my college experience will be like? Sorry its so long and thanks for any advice :) |

So me and my friend X and his friend who i barely know devin met up at devins house and we walked to the kid who stole my moneys house we saw him on his bike and we screamed at him to come here and devin started sprinting at him so me and x jogged behind the kid ran into his backyard and devin picked up a brick and threw it into his window and he ran home and me and x called a friend to pick us up. Last night my best friend and I were walking home when we passed a stack of rocks to me they were just rocks but my bff knew them right away as something to do with the homeless. ( there is a homeless camp in the ditch right down the hill from where we live and my bff and her man use to be homeless) she told me to walk fast and not touch the rocks or it would anger the homeless people. And for not making friends in clubs and classes- I'm sort of shy in my classes just because I'm very insecure about my intelligence so my whole life I've always been shy when discussing school, however in my everyday life I'm extremely outgoing, but that would explain why I haven't made friends in classes. We quickly became friends at the beginning of the year but a couple weeks into our friendship, she quickly became very clingy. She constantly holds my hand and touches me in other ways that make me uncomfortable. She is also very controlling and I always have to do what she wants to do. After a few weeks of doing the same thing everyday, hanging out with her quickly turned into a boring routine. Because she likes to hold my hand, running away from her is difficult. I can't avoid her when class gets dismissed because she always waits for me in the hall, standing around like a lost puppy. The only place at school where I can get some time away from her is in the bathroom! I am shy and am terrible at criticism so being honest with her is a challenge. We decided to get off the bus. Keep in mind that my house is a half of a mile away. Also, I am in 8th grade (13) and I walked home with 2 of my other friends in my grade (also 13), my brother and his friend (both 6th grade and 11), and my sister (9, 3rd grade). The rules of the party are stay in the basement with plenty of room for beer pong and halloween games or the kitchen. Avoid the bedrooms and living room. Now my one friends girlfriend kinda put me on the spot and asked if their dog can come to the party...I hesitated but said yes as long as he stays in the basement. He's not even a year old and idk the teething situation. Since last year, a boy in her class kept going around telling others that she stares at him and that [he thinks] she likes him. Although she stares into space because she daydreams but doesn't remember staring at him, she's been doing her best to keep her eyes off of him but it still wasn't uncommon for her to see him whispering to people while smirking at her. Last year, she's been given a dirty look by another classmate, *ew* has been said to her, she's been yelled at by the actual boy & another kid or 2 *Don't look at me!*, she saw someone whisper something about her to the boy's best friend & then giggling, the actual boy has laughed at her whenever he saw something bad happen to her like tripping & falling, and a girl she was friendly with said to her, "Aaron doesn't like you 'cuz you stare at him." She thinks he's been getting others to dislike her. She has come home crying before last year, and last March, her English teacher complained to her that her grade is going down. This boy, Aaron, and his best friend are in her class again this year. A kid yelled at her in the hallway, "Don't look at me!" right after Aaron whispered something to him; and that same kid has tried to stay away from her since. In English class, Aaron's BFF said to her, "Aaron told me to tell you that you're ugly." When she and Aaron passed by each other in the hallway going opposite directions, he briefly looked at her and said, "Freak!" Another boy who Aaron whispered to about her started throwing paper balls at her during class. Last week in the hallway, Aaron yelled from afar, "Lauren, stop staring at me!" and then most of the kids who were around him laughed. After she came home from school today, I spotted her sitting on the couch, crying hard but silently. So, I went up to her to ask her what was wrong. She explained everything. Is my sister being bullied in school? |

Posted: 26 Oct 2015 11:32 AM PDT So this is what happened: I was invited into a sleepover with somewhere between 10-15 close friends. In the middle, 1 of 2 friends who weren't invited (I wasn't fully aware they weren't at the time) called me. I told her everybody in the sleepover even though everybody wanted to lie to these 2 girls. Everybody in the sleepover became angry with my and the things escalated. The next day we were divided: me and the 2 girls didn't talk to the other big group. Slowly people answered my wanting for forgiveness, even though I think everybody lying to them and them not acknowledging I am not a liar seems wrong to me. Now, I am in a big fight with the 2 biggest liars who I thought were my good friend. All the rest have various opinions and they are all angry with me for being a "traitor". The 2 girls do not speak to almost all of them and everybody accuses me. I don't know what to do. I don't think I want to still be friends with most of them after that also. The problem is, is that I am in the same class with everybody and yes, I have other friends there and from other classes, but I can't turn my head away from the board because then I'd meet one of "them". What do I do? I tried to reason with most of them and they said well fine OK our anger will pass but when I talked to their "leader", she said they said the forgive only because they are polite but it will take much more time than that. I don't like that girl thou, she just can't admit that she was guilty in all the hassle. |

I know they don't do it on purpose but it is really annoying and upsetting sometimes. They have been closer longer but we are going to a concert in a couple weeks but I just know I'm probably going to be left out and feel like **** the whole night. Should I go? Its not that surprising since every time I send her something I have to text her a million times to see if she even got it. She's never said thank you for anything. To be fair our relationship is very new. I met her only a year ago. Fathers are estranged, anyways, I'm considering backing out of any plans I intended to make. Why should I bend over backwards, spend my own money, when I can never even get a response. Whether she is still trying to open up and connect, I don't understand why she cannot reply with a simple yes or no to my texts. I'm only 23 we aren't too far apart but I don't know. Its depressing trying to plan a vacation for someone who treats you like you don't exists. When she came here she was crying because of how happy she was we finally met. She's suppose to come here to stay with me for winter break, but since she made that announcement, she has literally ignored all my attempts to small talk or discuss winter plans. Am I wrong to cancel winter plans with her? Id just rather go on vacation with my husband instead.... what is the best wat to handle this? |

He cheated before and has 2 kids on her, they worked through that and got married in 2013.. Well the girls planned a girls night out he wouldn't let her go if we couldn't have her back by 12 midnight.... We planned this weekend just for her she's always home alone on weekends while he's out doing God knows what.... Cheating my friend has some facts that he's cheating.... But if he is doing him outside of their marriage why does he always make her stay at home or give her a curfew? My husband doesn't mind when me & they ladies hang out.. Why does her husband gets upset when she's out with her friends which all 4 of us are married... |

She just wasn't raised to know any better and has had a rough life.She has come a long way and is very caring sometimes.She does however act very racist towards a group of specific people. I confronted her about it and she said being racist is who she is and she can't help it but she won't make comments in front of me anymore. It bothers me because I know she is better than this behavior but I don't know how to handle this...she already said she won't do it in front of me anymore and that seems like it should be enough but my feelings aren't just sad because she does it in front of me it is that she does it period and I can see the real her and I know she is better than this behavior. Am I out of line wanting to change this in her? If not, what is the most appropriate way to talk about it? |

Posted: 26 Oct 2015 11:08 AM PDT well, my parents have been extremly strict with me since my childhood, now im a freshman college student, but they dont behave me well, i feel il just i'm a 6 years old, they dont let me work , going out with my friends, or even escaping,,, i escaped to the oprhelina one time and they followed me lol ,,, i got into a severe depression due to their stress ,, i tried to talk to them , i actually talked to them several times ..nut they didnt change, however,now i wanna go out with my friends tomorrow, but i don't have any scent of money in my wallet...i really wana go out to break my routine,,, but they dont wanna give me money i already talked to them and have being so obedient since june !!,,,,,, i dont want to stole cause thats not me,,, i know where my mom are hiding some money in her room,,but no,,what should i do ? |

Posted: 26 Oct 2015 11:07 AM PDT I lied to my "best friend" about something silly, so I pulled a prank on her in 2013 where i created a fake account on a website and pretended to be a guy and talked to her, she took it seriously and fell in love with the fake account person lol, and we pranked another girls and i never told her it was me until she found out that it was 2 months ago, although i stopped going along with the prank in 2013 and my friend who was in with me on the prank is still on with it till now, my best friend (im not even sure if we still are best friends or not lol) is pissed because i lied although im sure she's just pissed because she thought the fake account dude (my friend and i) actually loved her and she did too! we've been fighting for over 2 months and i apologized more than once, any advice on what i should do? and we pranked other girls* |

There's my dad, step mum, brother and my two sisters and I much preferred it when it was just the five of us. I lost my mum a few years ago and it has been tough. My step mum is normally really nice but I feel she cares about my brother more than us girls. The fact I share a room with my brother makes it difficult because she's always telling me to be extra nice and close to him. We're like good friends - same with my sisters but it's a little awkward at times. My step mum always wants me to dress and behave like a real lady. I've spoken to my dad about this but he's too much in love to truly understand. |

When we hang out she never has any money to pay for anything, she's always screaming she lost her money some how.even if she does have money she would act as if shes short on something, but later on would have money for her smoking habits. My other friends and i have jobs,cars and apartments but she doesn't.(we are in our 20,s) We tell her all the time nothing is handed to you and she has to work for it.Shes Had jobs before but they never last long. Her mom and dad never had jobs they were living off there parents also. she wants her own business one day but she doesn't want to work for anyone. but i told her she has to start somewhere. me and my others friends have tried to get her a job but she always have excuses like its too far or cant even make the interview. remind you where we live its public transportation(we all started on public trans before we got cars). When shes come over to any one apartments she eats up everything with no consideration,leaves her things everywhere she's just plain nasty and when u confront her about it she doesn't take you serious and does the same thing anyway.Now my others friend are tired of it and im the only one who really hangs with her but she still doing the same thing , I have tried to throw hints out there about bringing her own money to things but still the same .....shes a long time friend ...is she using us??? what should i do?? |

We still talk, but whenever she gets the chance, she'll leave me. She asks other people to sit beside her in class when it used to be me, she ditched me several times on the Army Cadet FTX trip, and when I mean ditched, she ditched. She wouldn't sit with me on the bus there OR back, always has her back turned to me, and throughout the trip she would always never tell me where to meet her. She'd just leave me behind. It's like that at school too. I am kind of attempted to just get rid of her period with no questions asked, but at the same time I don't want to because I joined the cadets with her, and if we weren't friends, imagine how awkward cadet training would be... What do I do? By the way, I understand people need their space and I do too, but her being THIS distant isn't normal. Over a year ago, we had a new member come to our youth group and he has been crushing on me for all this time (over a year). It has been really uncomfortable receiving this unwanted attention from him especially since he stares at me A LOT, tries to sit near/next to me, asks about me, smiles at me (for no reason), gets super nervous when I talk to him, finds any excuse to just be near me. I've learned to just ignore his weirdness, but now I realized that my friend (I thought she was my friend) is pretty much in love with this guy who has a crush on me. It just makes me feel bad that she doesn't invite me and my boyfriend to hang out with her and her friends just because she's inviting this guy. She can also be rude sometimes...It's not like I'm trying to get his attention. :( One example is what happened yesterday at Church. She was sitting with him and I was sitting with my boyfriend. As soon as service ended, he rushed away (leaving her) just to walk right next to me (he didn't even say a word...weird) and have me see him. He has done this a lot in the past and also walking right behind me. How should I deal with my so-called friend and her rudeness? :( I don't know if he even likes her, but they are friends and they hang out often. As soon as I enter the picture though, he completely forgets about her. :/ |
