Question: What to do when your girlfriend is on vacation without you? Posted: 12 Oct 2015 01:00 PM PDT |
Posted: 12 Oct 2015 12:25 PM PDT I'm absolutely terrified of my mother and her fiancé. They're unsupportive, manipulative, greedy, abusive, selfish, and don't care about me. They isolate from friends and family, telling me that no one likes me and my family hates me and that none of my friends actually like me, and I'm forced to be their slave at home, doing everything they want me to do and more. I just don't feel happy or safe or loved here. I have a little over a year before I turn 18 but at this point I'll have no money, no clothes, no education, nothing by then if I stay here. I've lived with my Grandpa before and it was nice and I want to go back. He's willing to take me in again, use my social security (I get $800+ a month) and put $500 into a savings account then let me use the rest+whatever I make from work on groceries for myself, clothes and transportation. I can be put into a phone plan with my brother and get a decent working phone for school, work, and for socializing. I'd be able to attend an online school that'll help me make up any classes I failed previously due to my mom and her fiancé verily letting me do my work. In the long run, I think living with my Grandpa will be financially and emotionally better for me as I'll be getting everything from clothes to transportation to food to the education I need plus money saved up by the time I turn 18. How would we go through with this, like do we just go to the local courthouse and discuss it with them? What has to be done? PS: I live in IN |
Question: What should I do to get them to stop? Posted: 12 Oct 2015 11:32 AM PDT My husband and I put our two 5 year old girls to bed. We all brushed our teeth. I read them a book. Sean tucked them in. They fell asleep at about 7:28. I had to work in the morning(I am an middle school teacher) and I showered. Sean got in with me and we started having sex. My brother-in-law and his wife were there so if anything happened the girls could go to them. And we told them that. Sean brother knew we d be having sex I don t know how Sean must ve told him. Well after the shower we went to bed and Sean wanted to still have sex so we did. While we were having sex, Daniella and Gabriella walked . I was on top of Sean, bouncing. The girls just said "mommy, don t jump on the bed?". I stopped bouncing but I could exactly get off Sean because we ll he was inside me. Then Sean s brother s wife called the girls and she was looking for them so she walked in on us as well. The next day the girls went to school and told their teacher what they saw. Their teacher hates me because ironically enough, she dated Sean in high school. She scheduled a meeting with me and my husband and we went. She told us that the girls have been talking about it non stop and that we need to get them to stop and then she says "you should be more responsible" smiling. She knows I don t like her and I know she doesn t like me. My daughter s won t stop talking about it still and I have done just about everything I could think about to get them stop. And please don t say how I am a bad parent. |
Posted: 12 Oct 2015 11:22 AM PDT He s "normal." I m not. He can t get into what I love but "making love" feels disgusting to me. I m obviously attracted to my husband but this is killing me. Does anyone have any clue what s going on here? |
Question: If a woman witnesses cheating by her mother as a young child can she be faithful? Posted: 12 Oct 2015 10:44 AM PDT So, I know human behavior has a way of insidiously spreading through our minds but I'm wondering of the women that discovered their mother cheated when they were young whether that often makes them suspicious of the world, their relationships and prone to cheat? |
Question: How to make myself more approachable? Posted: 12 Oct 2015 10:04 AM PDT Anytime I have a conversation with someone, I feel like an asshole in the way my face looks. Most of the time i'm uninterested when people come up to me but i'll act like I am interested. (It's mostly when they catch me with my blank expression staring off through a window or something else) I'm sure i am not the only one with this issue, Should I just not care how people see me? |
Question: Am I Being Fooled Yet Again? I Can't Take Another Heartbreak!!!!!? Posted: 12 Oct 2015 09:35 AM PDT I've been with my love for 3 years but it has been a very bad relationship and he has told me on three separate occasions that he isn't in love with me and never was only to change his mind a week or more later. About a month ago I decided to give up and let him go. The very next day he suddenly decided he is in love with me and has been all along. Is it as I believe, another attempt to draw me back into his web of control, manipulation and abuse? He even agreed to get counseling to convince me. |
Question: My best friend s mom is a b*tch? Posted: 12 Oct 2015 09:16 AM PDT So my best friend is a freshman in high school and I m a sophomore. 2 weeks ago we made plans to watch a movie today that is rated PG-13. Her mom decided at noon that she wasn t allowed to watch a PG-13 movie and when she asked why, her mom said that "she doesn t need to justify herself." She has never made any rules about my friend watching PG-13 movies before now and is being totally ridiculous. What do I do? Yeah we tried picking a PG movie to appease her, however, she decided that this particularly PG movie "counted" as a PG-13 movie so no luck there. |

Posted: 12 Oct 2015 08:43 AM PDT I met this young man at the gym. We instantly hit it off. We went for coffee but ended up making out. One thing led to another and I ended up in his bed. We have met secretly multiple times. Out of guilt, I decided to end it with him. However, he stole my underwear and friended my husband on facebook. He threatens to reveal our rendrzvous if I stop sleeping with him. What should I do? |
Question: Would it be wrong for me to hit on him because I'm married? Posted: 12 Oct 2015 08:32 AM PDT I've been watching him for awhile. I even know his name becsuse I was paying attention when his friend called him. It makes me happy just to see him. If I introduce myself to him, is that okay? My husband is fine with it. But should I even? |

Question: At what age do you stop getting called "kid"? Posted: 12 Oct 2015 08:02 AM PDT So I'm 24 and I still get called kid by pretty much anyone thats at least 10 years older than me. Now I don't look at myself as a kid in the least way. I own my own house, have a college degree, own my own car, and I have a job. I'm also going to be married in a year. I don't see how anything I just listed sounds like a kid. But if I'm hanging out with some who is in there 50s, I get called "kid". I mean what age does that stop? I can see being called kid at 17. But at 24, you are 6 years into adulthood. |
Question: Should i sneak off and go to a concert? Posted: 12 Oct 2015 07:44 AM PDT I need advice on what to do. I am 19 but I still live with my parents for the time being. I want to go to a concert about three hours away from my home town. My mother says it is too far away to drive but I know I cam handle it... I already bought the ticket and besides I'm not even worries about the $. I just want to see this band so bad. Should I just go to the concert against my parents wishes? I know that sounds like an immature thing to do but they really wont listen to me!! I make straight A's and have a job and am a really good person!! I barely ever get in trouble. The only reason they don't want me to go is because they found out I was drinking a few weeks ago but it was literally like one time and I was safe about it (didn't drive, etc.) but now they act like I'm an alcoholic.. So my question is. does it sound like it is worth it to sneak off and go to the concert(my fave band). I am so torn. also.. they have told me "NO" ... so that is why I'm torn. i mean i know i am 19 and can legally do whatever etc. but i still feel bad about disobeying them . even though they barely even considered it |
Question: Does my best friends younger sister like me? Posted: 12 Oct 2015 07:40 AM PDT My best friend and I have been friends for nearly 16 years, we are 21 now and he has a younger sister who's 19. About two months ago I got a girlfriend. I was talking to his sister and she was her normal self, making jokes, talking about random stuff and just really happy. Our group of friends usually hang out a lot. My girlfriend came and I introduced her to the group, his sisters smile dropped so fast and she looked upset. When she said she was happy for me she tried to smile but it turned out looking like a smile you give when you're uncomfortable. It was as if she became a decoration, she did not speak for the rest of the evening. I asked her what was wrong and she said she's just tired, but I knew she was lying because of this thing she does when she lies. She's been a lot quieter and less happy since that day. At the start I thought it was something else in her life. Later on I got told they actually knew each other in school and did not get along, my girlfriend had a reputation, so I put it down to that. Until a few days ago I thought back to the times her brother would make jokes about her liking me. He would make small remarks like 'I wonder why you're out here.' 'Do you feel better now that --- is here.' 'Are you looking at --- again' 'Why not tell us who you like, is he perhaps in this room' I'm starting to think his jokes are not just jokes after all. Could this be true or am I reading too much into it? |
Question: I am never good enough in school? Posted: 12 Oct 2015 07:20 AM PDT I wasn't selected to be a prefect or many other roles that there are in my school. My marks aren't great and I don't have a lot of friends. Next year is my final year and I'm sick of never feeling good enough and rejected. Please help. |

Posted: 12 Oct 2015 05:05 AM PDT I've been in a secret relationship with him for 6 months. I'm 25 he's 45. I have had relationships but definitely never felt this way. I want to be with him properly and he says he's going to leave his wife but he keeps making excuses about it not being the right time for her and his kids etc and I'm beginning to think he's never going to do it. Should I tell him to end it or we're over? |
Question: Building confidence? Posted: 12 Oct 2015 05:04 AM PDT So I have never had high self esteem, and after an abusive relationship it got worse. I am with a great guy now and I'm happy, but sometimes my lack of self esteem causes issues. I have noticed that I'm always scared of losing him and I feel very nervous whenever women start talking to him:( especially one girl who he used to have a thing with. I know this is t healthy. How can I become more confident in myself and my relationship? |

Question: What should I about my family situation ? Posted: 12 Oct 2015 04:45 AM PDT I'm sleeping on couch . I haven't had a bed in years why you ask ? Because my family meaning my mother and sister and brother keep having to live with me . So my mother and sister, mom-55 years old sister 21 years old can't seem to get their life together and hold down a decent job and rent a an apartment and drive theirself to work . It's so much I can't even fit the whole story in this details but the both of them have been living with me since December 2013 and I gave them my room not really charging them something like 100 to 200 dollars a month in the hopes that they would save their money and move but no that hasn't been the case ..they moved out for a few months into an apartment that I put in my name but didn't last due to them getting to fights and arguments and so they were thrown out and I let them come stay with me again and it's been a year now and I lent them thousands of dollars , all this time they had no car and so I would take them both back and forth to work , help them either food and yet I gave them until November 1 st too move and I don't see them like applying anywhere all I see them doing to ordering clothes online and when k ask them for the monthly rent which I'm only asking 200 dollars a month they both get attitudes like I'm rich my monthly bills come out to 1500 dollars a month and I'm unemployed so I'm still footing t and so I've given my mother and sister a move out date November 1 at and I kinda asked my mother this morning if she found a place and she got agitated and was like "yeah we will find a place " we will be out soon so I'm like okay cool but tonite I was sleep and felt someone over me and it was my mom and she's like oh can I use your phone and I told her no and she starts calling me weird and she goes to her room and goes and gets her phone and starts using it .. That's makes m And this is already the 12th rent was due on the first and they are both ordering stuff online ..my mother actually paid for an expensive trip to Washington, D.C. and be fore she left she was supposed to leave the rent money with my sister but didn't And my sister hasn't paid her portion she's giving her boyfriend money and gets their nails and stuff done but yet hasn't paid their share of the bills and will not go and get their own place to live I just feel like it's beyond selfish what the That I have told the both of them that I have back and neck problems from sleeping on the couch for all three years and my mother really had no sympathy and mumbled under her breath and told me to get an hair mattress smh..it's the 12th of October and I don't see anyone making plans to move I don't even think either One of them has even applied for an apartment my life is a mess this has been going on off and on for over 10 years my soul is tired |
Question: I really need help.? Posted: 12 Oct 2015 02:32 AM PDT It isn't a personal relationship but with my neighbors. They are rednecks to be blunt and go with every stereotype in the book. Messy lawn, noisy, getting **** faced publicly, cussing constantly at each other (including their kids) and so on. Recently I have been harassed by them, literally they make fun of me/harass me every time I go outside. I've cried a few times over it and I just don't know what to do. I'm afraid of more back lash if I call the police because they seem to be crazy and also I'm scared to go over there and talk about it since they seem so unstable. Please I need advice, Google searches aren't helping much. |
Question: My girlfriend is stalking me! What shall i do? Posted: 12 Oct 2015 02:26 AM PDT We live together. Sje is working i am not (we share costs though). But she is checking up on me and controlling me all the time. She complains how i am always on whatsapp, skype etc and how i do nothing useful. If she sees that i am talking to someone, she immidiately texts me asking me whom am i talking to and saying things such as "well since you have time to talk to your friends you can talk to me too" (because i used to complain that we text a lot during the day, so when she comes back home we have nothing to say to each other). What shall i do? Isn't it my choice what i do with my free time, even if i chose to waste it? |
Question: Black guy in love with Greek Jewish woman? Need advise...? Posted: 12 Oct 2015 01:21 AM PDT So my father was a light skin black man. I think his mother or greatgrandma was raped by a white man, producing him but he was black, his mom was. My mothers side is all black. So I know this girl and she is pretty much amazing. Super smart, loyal, discreet very loving and very patient. I have concerns about marrying her though. Will my kids kids kids be white? (I don't want that) Is this all a test? Am I being disloyal to my own kind that I love so dearly? The thing that trips me out is that this woman is highly suscessful in the business world and I'm a poor black guy with some talents. From the first time we met it was like we already knew each other. Its crazy, our bond is so sareal that it scares me sometimes. I can only give her love, yet she stays and is loyal. She is GOD FEARING and I love that about her so much. Its the only reason I'm so serious about her. I'm a Hebrew, as many of my A.A. brothers are, called, chosen. I feel like this woman through her Jewish side may be a distant relative. I feel like God put her in my life, I know he did. I feel lost and found all at the same time with her. I'm hurt that I am so in love with, well, a "white" woman. I don't mean to feel this way. Maybe I have resentment. How should I proceed with this??? |
Posted: 12 Oct 2015 12:29 AM PDT He knew me before his marriage and I always had a crush on him. Did he have one on me too? Don't worry I'm not a home wrecker. I won't contact him ever again! |

Question: What do guys think of this? Posted: 11 Oct 2015 10:47 PM PDT I love to workout, I'm 17, I'm tall, skinny, I have muscle & im very fit. I'm always the only girl lifting out of all the guys, is that weird? To see that one girl? i always seem to be the only one, once in a while you'll see another girl or 2, but that's rare. It doesn't bother me that I'm around a bunch of guys being the only girl, I'm comfortable, no one bothers me. I'm pretty focused on my workout, but what do y'all think ? |

Question: Angry guy confuses me . Should i care ? Posted: 11 Oct 2015 08:56 PM PDT In the beginning i thought he liked me but he always gave so many mixed signals that i could never understand his true feelings. Some days he was really nice and others extremely rude. Sometime i felt he was shy. However unable to understand his true feelings i let go of him. But the more i ignored him the angrier he got to point that now every time he sees me, he flushes red, gets angry and avoids me. But the problem is that he is does it very deliberately. Sometimes its like he can notice me in a crowd of 100 people and all he cares about is about how upset he is at me and he has to show his anger. It is very confusing and i dont know what to do. Others have started to notice it too. Should i just ignore him, or talk to him ? When he was nice he was quite helpful towards me. I don't want to be selfish and hurt him by ignoring him ( if that is what upsetting him )but his behavior really confuses me. Any one faced with an angry guy. Please help !! |
Question: What does it truly mean to not have a life? Posted: 11 Oct 2015 08:50 PM PDT I'm curious to know what you guys think it means to "not have a life". Everyone I've met before has had a different opinion on this - some think that if you don't go out and party every night, you don't have a life, whereas others think that if you spend all your time studying or playing video games, then you don't have a life. That being said, what's YOUR idea of actually "not having a life"? |
Posted: 11 Oct 2015 07:38 PM PDT Okay so last year, I took homeschool and had lots of time to work on my self. All of my acne scars faded away because I put honey on my face and drank 8 glasses of water per day everyday and I also exercised alot and started to eat like a pesco vegetarian ( it means you are a vegetatian but you still eat fish, eggs, and dairy products) and I lost twenty pounds and got a flat stomach and I did some exercises to make my boobs and butt look bigger. And yesterday, I saw my friend and she aksed me what happened to me and I was about to tell her but she left and tomorrow I have to go to public school and I know people are going to ask me what happened. Should I just tell them Puberty hit me like a truck? Because I feel uncomfortable saying what really happened. |
Question: Should I tell my guidance counselor? Posted: 11 Oct 2015 06:43 PM PDT This lady who looks like she's in her early 40s made out with me, gave me her phone number and then told me that she'd take me to her house while I was volunteering with my school's key club at a festival. I didn't come with her to her house though. Could the lady go to prison? I still have her phone number and I didn't call her. I think about it everyday and it's disgusting. I'm a 15 year-old boy. |
Posted: 11 Oct 2015 06:28 PM PDT Hey guys, so I've been trying to find videos for a long time now and I have no idea where to find them, each time I've looked for them it's come up as porn and most definetly not the videos I am looking for! Most of these videos are about a minute long, they're mostly in black and white and there are about 15 clips in each video of different couples either making out, laughing, or just joking around. There's usually music in the background. I really need to find these videos as my fiancé and I are in one of them, it was the video of our proposal and I didn't give the editor permission to use the clip. Thank you! |
Question: Go or No on a trip to India? Posted: 11 Oct 2015 05:44 PM PDT I've paid £2,000 of my mums money to go to India next year on a trip where I'll spend a month trekking seeing the Taj Mahal which I've always wanted to and helping the community but I don't know if I want to go. I've still got like £3,000 to go and I'm barely fundraising it. I. Don't think I'll enjoy it like I thought and I think I'll miss my girlfriend too much as I was away from her for a week last month and it killed me. What should I do? I want to get a Saturday job so I can pay my mum back what she's spent but she doesn't want me to pass up an oppertunity I may not get again but how can I do something I'm not fully into and I can't leave my girlfriend for a month... She's the one and she and I both couldn't cope. What do I do? |
Question: How can I stop being shy? Posted: 11 Oct 2015 05:37 PM PDT I'm turning 18 this month and I start at a design college next year. I realized I can finally start my life now and do many things.the heavy weight from highscool is over. I want to do many things out of my comfort zone but any list of things I could do? I'm into fashion and entertainment. The thing I'm going to do is dye my hair and get a new look. Change is good. Then with every person I encounter to look and speak as loud and confident as I can. Question: Does my boss have feelings for me or is it just friendship? Posted: 11 Oct 2015 09:13 AM PDT I m married with small children and I have grown close (meaning a good friendship - we confide in one another about anything and everything) to my boss over the last 2 years. He recently went through a horrible divorce and I helped him as best as I could on an emotional level which also kick started our friendship. I was his rock at the office and the only person he could trust. The divorce has been finalized for months now and lately he has become somewhat physical with me at the office and outside of the office if at a work related event. We do not see each other outside of the office if not work related. We do text over the weekends on occasion but it s not constant conversation. He always finds a way to touch me, touching my hand in a nonchalant kind of way, touching my shoulder in passing or giving me full front to front hugs when saying goodbye, even though I will see him the next day. He always initiates the hugs. I m just trying to figure out if there is something there or if it s just a close friendship. I ve started reading into everything he does and obviously that can be toxic. I do not want to say anything to him about this as I don t want to make anything awkward between us. I do care about him, probably more than I should, but I would never take things to the next level with him. Does he just see me as a friend or is he developing feelings for me? |
