Just friends. We used to do group assignments together for our class. But later he started to flirt a little bit more like trying to have more personal conversations with me on Facebook and inviting me for an ice cream and inviting me for dinner, etc. We are both 22. I started dating someone about 3 weeks ago and it's been awkward to talk to this friend since then. He knows that I have a boyfriend now. It looks like he is going back to acting as a friend again but I just can't get over the awkwardness. I don't talk as much as I did before when I see him and sometimes I just don't even say hi. But the only problem I have with my boyfriend that I've confronted him about multiple times is communicating with me. I don't see color. It was one time and a long time ago, so of course when he asked me if I ever had I said NO. Feeling awful about lying and not wanting to hide my past, I tried to come out with the truth. And he FLIPPED out. Trying to save our relationship, I lied and said he was mixed (he wasn't) and I said we were at a party and it wasn't necessarily concentual. I said it happened for 2 minutes and nothing really "did" happen but for a minute or two and then he got off of me after I "realized" what happened. Said I was intoxicated as well. I didn't mean to lie, but I had no idea he would react that way. It's not like me to lie like this, but I just panicked. It just all came out before I could realize what I was saying, and I even said it was my fault for being at the party. I can't come clean, it's passed that, but is there any way of dealing with the guilt of lying? Or at least trying to cope with being liar of that degree? He wouldn't go to the authorities or anything and I'm trying to down play the situation saying it could have been worse.. But I just feel horrible. But I can't tell the truth. Please someone help. |

Often times, when it is about time to let out(of school; highschool), he would ask if I was going to after school activities. This also applies to group hang outs. He would also offer to buy me things, like today, he offered to pay for my entrance to an event we went to. Also, we usually sit together in class and walk to class together and we'd often share laughs and just look at each other and smile. I d ask now but like I said, I ve only met her in person once and I m afraid she ll say no if I ask now because she needs to know me better in person. Also, the reason I don t meet up with her sooner is because I can t, this friday I already have plans, we can t do anything during the week because we re both in school, and I won t ask her to a movie this weekend or something is because I don t want to seem like I m coming on strong, and I don t want to do something like go to the mall with her because, if we re not going out when we re doing it, she might view me as a friend. | Question: Going on a date with someone a close friend used to have a crush on? Posted: 20 Oct 2015 06:36 PM PDT One of my best friends used to REALLY, REALLY like a guy, maybe a year ago. He never reciprocated the interest, and I'm not sure if she is over him or not... she hasn't really mentioned him in a while. Anyway, I've developed a strong crush for him recently, and he asked me to go on a date with him. Is it wrong for me to go? And, should I tell my friend/ask for her permission? The last thing I want to do is hurt her feelings, but he is someone I can see a future with. Help? |

I always get butterflies when I see him and hide bc I m to nervous to talk to him. We have been togther for almost a month and we text every day and we have actual convos but when he calls me I don t answer cuz I m too shy. I really do like him tho. I have had a crush on him since 5th grade and I dated him last year but we broke up and now we r back together but even then I was still nervous talk to him. HELP! |
| Question: I think i'm in love with my fwb and I really need advice.? Posted: 20 Oct 2015 06:36 PM PDT So my fwb and I have had such a complicated history of me liking him, him than hooking up with me and my best friend in the same week, than he picked her but came crawling back to me. We've been hooking up for about a year now and he made it clear in the beginning that he didnt want a relationship. I recently broke this and told him (while drunk) that i loved him. He got angry because i was drunk and he told me to figure out my feelings. I did and told him that I truly liked him. He than told me i'm not like the other girls he hooks up with and that i have a place in his heart. He says he is trying tonchange his ways. But it was two months after this and i brought up the topic again and he saod that "we'll figure it out". It's been another month. This constant bavk and forth is attacking my emotions. I wish That i would want to give him up but even after all he does to me, i can't. I accept him and his player ways and honestly just want him to feel the same. I just want him to be happy, so I let him treat me like crap. I just hope soon he will give up the other girls and give us a try. I don't know what to do. Help please? |

| Question: What do you think is going through his head? Posted: 20 Oct 2015 06:36 PM PDT Me and this guy have been on and off but always talking and close for about 6 and a half years now. He's had 4 "girlfriends" three official and one didn't get too far. We talked everyday through all of them. The last two I didn't know about right away. He cheated on both of them with me and I found out about them later. He got me pregnant while he was with the third one so they didn't last and we were together for the whole pregnancy until the baby was born we get into a lot of arguments but still had sex and he's not the type to talk about his feelings so we never talked about us but sometimes he gave me the feeling he liked me like that but then always pushed me away. His most recent girlfriend he cheated on her with me a couple times and I was so fed up with being "that girl" and not knowing so I told her that he cheated and he was crying and begging me not to tell her and said he really cared about this girl. Now he's pissed at me which is fine I thought long and hard about the decision to tell her and I'm happy I did. He can't get away with that. Not again. Anyway, what do you guys think? Time to move on or is there a love between us that we just aren't admitting to? |
