My middle school always wanted the guys and girls seperate.

Shes an only child and she is spoiled rotten! She gets paid for getting good grades, and chores, and always gets the current technology out.. And at school if she gets a question wrong she will cry VERY loudly.. We are in 11th grade and this is a little ridiculous.. But when she cries in class if nobody pays attention she will cry even louder till someone asks her if she is okay.. She doesnt have a disability or anything but it is ridiculous that she acts like shes 2.. Is there a way to ask her to stop crying without her being more of a baby?

So I m 15 she is still 14, turning 15 in 2 months, and she is the type of person that is afraid of being alone for the rest of their lives or pretends she doesn t care about anything, and so we had a fight over TEXT that I was telling her shes worth it and that she is paranoid and she has friends, so she should snap out of it and her saying no body likes me, face it your popular and Im an outcast, and that got me so pissed off so I reminded her about what happened a couple years ago when we were still super close and werent drifting apart and she didnt care about labels, and then she texted me saying you know what you dont have to be my friend im fine being alone and I responded fine i guess i wont be because i spent 30 minutes texting her, calling her telling her it was worth it and it led back to her saying no it isnt so I gave up, then 3 minutes after I texted her that last text she texted me "10 pills and a roof" I was like what? and she said im done with this world. She sent me a video of her taking the pills and sitting on her 2 story house roof! i called her mom and texted our other best friend and the police and ambulance got to her house in time before she jumped, but she has already swallowed the pills and was feeling drowsy, she is now in a psych hospital for one week but I dont know what will happen afterwards when she gets out? i mean will it be the same? it obviously wont. Will it be worse? better?

Hi I'm 14, and I've been diagnosed with it a few weeks ago, but I'm scared to tell them. They weren't the best friends ever, but they were the best friends I could find. I'm saying that because I've tried to invite them to do things with me so that we could hang out in case I ...die, I just hadn't told them I'm dying and they're rejecting me. I don't want to be like "I have cancer, hang out with me while I'm alive" or anything forward like that, I just want them to at least have dinner with me so I could tell them, but they apparently have plans (which they don't) any help?

It s been two months since I started high school, and I ve been really lonely since the beginning. My best friends went to another high school and I don t see them that often. I do hang out with a group of people, but I just kinda sit by myself at the lunch table and let them talk. I also am having problems with my teachers, but just kinda a personal preference. I ve met people through soccer at my school, but the only people I clicked with go to option schools and I can t see them at school. I ve been researching, and I think I might want to try online school. I know it s a little early in the school year to be making decisions like this, but I m really miserable and hate my school. Ive been bullied since my freshman year and now im in 11th grade.(a girl btw). Its taken me a long time to be okay with haters but at this point I am happy and am moving on has anyone ever experienced this where you just don't care anymore? I cared for so long, I was always a huge people pleaser and tried my hardest to make everyone happy and try to 'fix' these relationships but as I have gotten older I have learned that you can't make everyone happy and I am okay being independent. My uncle stopped talking to me a few years ago because I didn't invite him to my wedding, he called me a spoiled brat. (I did not invite him because I am not in contact with my dad's side) My in law's have never liked me, they never thought I was good enough for my husband because I haven't finished college. (i always treated my husband and family with respect) My sister in law hates me now because I posted an opinion on an issue on facebook last night (not directed at her) she took offense and told me I was pompous and inconsiderate. Friends just stopped talking to me because I moved away. (oh well we weren't as close as I thought).

A friend and I had a disagreement about 6 months ago and we no longer speak to each other. I said some insensitive comments during the disagreement and would like to apologize. This friendship "breakup" has really affected me and it is causing major emotional stress in my life because I miss my friend dearly and I don t have many others. So hears the story, 2 weeks ago this girl from school name Amanda Hayes saw me at the mall an she an her friend laughed an said "don't he go to are school?" an I new she was hot for me cause she laughed an remembared me. ok so I've known my best friend for 3 years now and she has always been fine with the fact that i have a visual impairment until recently when i got some new visual equipment that greatly improves my vision. instead of being supportive which would have been great given i really would prefer not to have to wear the new equipment, she complained of how awful it looked and doesn't want me wearing it when she is around. i am wrong to think she is being selfish and shallow. like shouldn't she be more supportive given the fact i only wear it because it makes my life better.

I had an argument with a friend named Henry not to long ago. The argument was over a glitch that happened on our iphones, someone kicked someone else out of a group chat, and it was displaying a different name on each of our phones. About a week later, my mother passed away, and when told the news Henry said "i dont really care, because my emotions for Aaron are closed now". I changed schools about 6 weeks ago. I'm still kinda new. I've made some friends and met many people. I am someone who is definitely not shy about starting a conversation with a random person and consider myself a bit of a people person. I am in 11th grade and new-ish, so I can relate sort of to freshman who are also new to high school. There's this freshman who is I've been seeing around the school a lot. He's kind of a loner, often I see him alone, but sometimes with other people. I feel drawn to make good friends with him for some reason. I've talked to him a few times and he responds with things that people don't typically say. For example, I asked him "how's high school been so far?" He just responded "it's been adequate. It is what is. Not very useful". He's overly polite with everything, shows no emotion or opinion, seems like an ideal student, and always walks very fast. He also doesn't seem nervous at all. It feels a bit hard to conversation and relate with him; just from talking to him on the bus 3 times. I still feel drawn to become good friends for some reason. What should I do or think?

My daughter went off to college this year for her freshman year. Her best friend who lives around the corner from us (5 minute walk) also went to the same college. To help each other out I talked to this girl's om and suggested we alternate trips to pick up and take the kids back from breaks so that both parents weren't going the same way twice. My suggestion is that if she picks them up for a break then we'll take them back. Ok, today they began fall break and they girl's mom was going to pick them up. My daughter wanted me to pick them up cause she knows I'm a stickler for being on time and keeping a schedule. This morning I receive a text from the girl's mom at 6 AM saying, "I'm going to get the girls in about 30 minutes." My reply was, "drive careful." The college is 2.5 hours away. With that travel time allowing for a stop or two (I personally don't stop but I figured the mom would) I expected them home around 12 or 1 PM. I get a text from my daughter at 11:45 AM saying the mom just got there. Not sure why it took 5 hours for a 2.5 hour trip. Maybe she left late but an update would have been nice from her. Ok, it's now 3:30 and they still have not gotten back yet. I texted my daughter to see where they were and she said that they stopped to some health place to get her friend's insurance card or something like that. I'm not trying to be rude but I would have thought you bring my child home first then go run your errands. My family can't wait to see my daughter and grandma has been calling every 15 or 20 minutes or so to see if she's home. Should I say something to this girl's mom or should we just start picking up our own children from this point on?

I have been friends with a person named Blaise. We have been friends for about a year. He doesn't have a lot of friends so of course he has been a good friend to me. When school started (August 31) we ended up having the same sports marketing class. This kid named Kyle sits by us. He introduces himself to us, saying "Hey, I am at a new school and I am just trying to make new friends." We welcome him with open arms. For the next few weeks, we all were fine. This was the only situation where I did something. Again, KYLE DID WAY MORE THAN I DID. I made one meme, he made like 100. Later that week, Blaise texted me and said he was stressed out over Kyle, that he hated him... I showed this to Kyle in attempt to get him to knock it off. But, he insults Blaise the next class period. Read below He insulted Blaise really badly. Said his breath smelled like ****, made fun of his leg. His leg calf muscle doesent grow and he limps. Kyle made fun of him also about his ADHD. All of this made him really upset. Very upset actually. This continued over the next couple weeks.. I DEFENDED BLAISE THE WHOLE TIME. I was getting mad at kyle for insulting blaise. I called kyle names too so Blaise could see I am his FRIEND. Blaise then gets mad at me! He blames me for everything and Says this was all my fault. I convince Kyle to apologize to Blaise because Blaise was about to tell the office on him. Kyle apologized, and blaise said he wasnt reporting. But, Blaise talked to his dad about the situation. Blaise's dad demanded that he report this for future reference. In case kyle and blaise ever got in to an argument, then blaise can be backed up. Blaise apologized to me for getting mad at me. But, he had to inform the office of what happened. So I have a few close friends, but there are only a couple that I can hang out alone with and feel comfortable, im a guy. So lets give this friday for an example. They're otherwise great people, but this one guy they're good friends with keeps pressuring me to do things I don't want to do. He keeps pressuring me to drink. But it gets worse - he forced me to watch his sex video. And he keeps asking me to do things that I don't want to do. What am I supposed to do now? So im 22 years old and starting at age 14, i kind of had this downward mental health spiral (wont go into details, but it was pretty serious. psychosis and severe depression were involved to give you an idea). because of it, i slowly started losing all my friends and by the time i was 19, i only had about 1 or 2 two that i occasionally spoke to and now at age 22 i have literally no one at all, not even family (for semi-unrelated reasons). but after so many years of trying to get better and figuring out what was going on with me, i think im at a place now where i feel i can finally make and maintain at least a couple real friendships. the problem is, i don't really know where to start at this point. i mean, it's easy to make friends when you you're still in high school or middle school where you see loads of people everyday that youve known for years.

So this all started when I was 10-12. I was bullied for the last 2-3 years of elementary. Before the bullying I was a very happy and outgoing person but when I started getting bullied I became more quite and introverted. My parents decided it would be best if I moved school, my cousin moved with me too because she was bullied too and our school sucked. When we moved schools in 6th I was so quite and shy and the fact that it was my first mixed school didn't help. My cousin made friends the first day there but I didn't. She felt sorry for me and let me sit with them and stuff. All I remember from sixth grade really was that I didn't talk to anyone unless it was the teacher or if someone asked me what class we had next and that during gym class the girls made fun of my weight. I wasn't fat I was a bit chubby in the stomach area and the fact that all the girls in the school were supermodel thin didn't help. Seventh grade was better. I made two friends. They were the only people that I talked to and I still spent most of my time in the library. But they didn't know the real me they just know the person that I make them think I am because I thought that they wouldn't talk to me if they knew the real me. 8th grade was practically the same but I had a few more friends I guess. Then the first year of high school came along.

My husband and I wee having a discussion and he told me its ridiculous for me to hang out with the opposite sex. Now my husband knows I have no serious kind of socia life. Ok so im in unverisity, and my roommate is my friend who ive known since being a child. We go back a long way, and he is the only friend i have , and him to me in university. The problem is that i am sick and tired of him now. His personality is obnoxious and extremely annoying, just always has an inferior complex and tries to compete in stupid ways for no reason, he has this smug look now and frankly i just need a damn break . Living breathing eating with this one person is driving me insane, its true that you dont really know someone until you live with them. Hi there. I want a few words to tell my parents to let me quit scouts. I have been to scouts about 6 years. I have to complete 2 years so I have no choices to stay. Now I go to high school and I think it's enough for me. I haven't told them about this nothing. But at first I want some tips (e.g. reasons) to be sure that I will convince them. I have bored scouts and I try all the time to keep a low profile so my friends at school won't know something. Before 6 years it was nice, I met new friends, we played great games and had a joyful time together. But now I find scouts really "uncool". When someone sees a scout he says "Hey look, scouts! They are kids' military" and "They don't know what pain means". When this happens I say to myself "Quickly, run so no one sees me". At the school which I go is one of the best of Greece, so I have to study a lot. Some days I have no free time. At weekends, when the scouts have meeting, I want free time. I also want to be cool and calm, so I won't be running to finish jobs. The problem is that my dad and mum have friends from scouts (scouts' parents) and they want to stay connected with them. I have 2-3 friends from scouts, too, but it's not like "Go to scouts to meet them". The other problem is that at this weekend the scouts we are going a trip to a mountain and we are prepared for this. Please, answer me the fastest you can, so I can tell my parents. First off, I'm a guy. At the skate park some guys were harassing this new girl, Lori, from our school. She skates too and they had chucked her skateboard into a creek nearby. Lori was crying and crushed. I felt bad, so I told the guys off, which seemed to make Lori happy because she asked if we could hang out. Since then we've become good friends. I didn't think it would last, but she won't leave my side. Problem is I'm a really boring and geeky guy. I don't skate myself. All I can do is keep Lori company and listen to her. I don't know why she decided to hang with a dud like me. I told Lori she could ditch me whenever she wanted because I'm boring, but she refused. I have a best friend, lets call her April (for privacy reasons) well I love her and 2 days ago she was acting really funny with me and I messaged her that night and we had a big talk, I said i feel upset as she leaves me out a lot and I get angry with her and she said she understands and I thought everything was okay, but today it was just so awkward and she barely spoke a word to me. My friend has very strict parents. I am not kidding when I say she is only allowed out to go to school or work. No she hasn t done anything wrong to lose their trust. Her mom thinks that she doesn t need friends because they will just disappoint. Her mom pretty much belives in arranged marriages.
