Well only guys I don't like, seem to be interested in me. I only attract the scientist, computer, intellectual and shy/low profile type of guy-that i DON'T like, wouldn't date but never a higher profile guy (you know the business type of guys who dress well and have a decently/ high income). What's wrong with me? Should i change sth in myself? Do i need to pay more attention in my looks (makeup, diet, confidence etc)? I'm in college and I have three roomates ( I will call them Mary,Kate and Jan), we all knew each other before coming to college but I wasn't close with them. Well I am not a very outspoken person but once I get comfortable around people I am more outgoing. My roommates are pretty loud and outspoken all the time so that already makes me feel out of place. Over the last couple of months I have gotten closer with my roommates but sometimes mary and kate act very fake. The other roommate Jan is the only one who seems to look out for me and actually care about me. When I'm in the room I talk to mostly jan and Kate and we have a lot of fun, when Mary is around Kate acts like she doesn't know me unless she is upset with Mary. Mary and I are not close because we don't spend much time together and she doesn't seem interested in getting to know me but we do get along. When jan isn't around Kate and mary may not speak to me and go places without me and if I see them walking with other friends they may not even say hello. I don't like this fake behavior but if I address it nothing will change, what should I do about this? Stop talking to them or address it?

So in the beginning of this year I was currently living with my family in philadelphia at 18 and was working at a warehouse for a furniture company. Up until the summer I was alone and I mean ALONE. I now have just been laid off from my job because my boss claims I have a "bad attitude" because I started going into work with the intentions on being a machine because my boss would be calling me stupid and kept threatening to fire me when I was being myself so I used a different approach in trying to keep my job. Now I am sitting here unemployed, Probably about to have a criminal record, and still having high hopes and dreams of getting into a trade, finding a strong woman, moving out of this city, and having a beautiful life. So my BF and his brother have been close since they were 11-- they are now in their 20's. This happened on June 7,2012 (yeah I'm a freaking weirdo for keeping track of the date). So anyway, it was at a community college and it was a dress rehersal for my dance class. So then, these 2 girls in my dance class named Adrian and Savon were dancing so stupidly that I got annoyed and "slapped" Adrian in the face (dont ask why). So as soon as I sat, Savon "slapped" me and I was ready to fight, but jokingly since they were a little younger than me. So then Adrian and I started "fighting" and I kneed her, but she said no kicking. We continued "fighting" each other and I grabbed hold of Adrian and Savon helped her out and tried to attack me, and held them off, but Savon had to go home. So Adrian and I kept "fighting" each other and smiling and one if the dancers named Nicoke said "I hope nobody gets a black eye in here". As we kept "fighting", I punched her in the stomach a couple times and she was holding her stomach, then I hit her on the back and she fell to the floor. We continued to "fight" each other, until she asked for her black hip-hop shoe and I got it and whacked her on the head with it. She said I gave her a concussion, but she was just joking. So was this counted as us play-battling each other??

So there's this guy at work that I really like...the first time we saw each other we held eye contact for a while. But now we see each other everywhere! Anytime we're in the same room we ALWAYS make eye contact. (Plus, I've seen him looking at me before, but when I looked up he quickly looked away) So basically, we don't know each other but we know of each other. I have noticed that he gets a little more quiet/reserved when he's around me. There have been 2 occasions where I have been with a group of people that he knows and he pops up to say hello to everyone...and he'll make eye contact with everyone else except me :( why is that?
